Hi Peter I have the MS900, MS700 and I am looking to do the MS102 and I am working my way though your course. Am I best waiting for the MS102 to come out of Beta before doing it ? If I took it now would this cause me any issues getting the Expert status as I thing I would have all I needed for this? Thanks for great content!
Do you mean Encrypted files? Detecting encrypted files with Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention (DLP) for endpoints can be challenging, as DLP policies typically do not decrypt files to inspect their contents1. However, there are strategies you can use to manage and mitigate the risks associated with encrypted files: Policy Configuration: Ensure your DLP policies are configured to detect and respond to the presence of encrypted files. While the content cannot be inspected, the fact that a file is encrypted can trigger a policy action. File Metadata: Use metadata and file properties to identify encrypted files. This can include file extensions commonly associated with encryption or specific attributes that indicate encryption. Endpoint DLP: Implement Endpoint DLP to monitor and control the transfer of encrypted files across devices and applications. you did not test the sensitive info type .how do you know if it works ?. i was searching a tutorial to see real situation how it works. but here you just create and that is it.
In order to test the sensitive info type you need to create a DLP or a label where u can leverage the SIT. Once you create one of those and turn on or at least in simulation mode the scan will start and result will be matched if any.

You explain the different types of classifiers but you don't actually explain how to use these classifiers. Maybe that is another video? I think it would be better to first explain the concepts of Purview and to then dig into some of the details...
