H A P P Y K N I T T I N G 🤎 - Навчання та стиль
I am new to knitting, so don't have very many knits to style yet. But I really love how thoughtful knitting has made me in terms of curating my wardrobe, and I really look forward to accumulating more knits to style!
I love linen combined with hand knits. Ever since I started knitting I have been more conscious and picky about fiber content in my clothes.
Linen and hand knits is the best combo! It’s what I wear literally all year long. Love how you styled everything! 🤎
Ah, I love talking about styling handmade pieces and I loved how you did yours!
And i really enjoyed the cumulus KAL. I’d been wanting to make it for over a year and it was just the push I needed! So glad you and Julia had the idea❤
So glad you enjoyed it ☺️
I love wearing my handknits with my NPL pieces! They are a natural pairing. I love that they all have good, functional pockets, not just decorative little things. Being petite at 5’ 1”, its super helpful that they will take and make modifications!!
That jumpsuit looks amazing on you!! I'm dreaming of all the perfect cardigans I could make to wear with one of those 🤤
I absolutely adored the jumpsuit with the cardigan look! Linen has been talked about so much in the community recently and I’ve been so tempted to get some for myself!
You have a beautiful and consistent color aesthetic which works so well for you and hence your wardrobe choices. Lovely episode! Thanks!
I love linen paired with a hand-knit piece! Especially a dress with a cropped sweater or cardigan. Love your spring style and thank you for such a great giveaway!
My daughter put me on to your podcast - this is my first video to watch and I love it! Love your styling part - really cute and helpful!
I love wearing a linen dress with a cropped knitted tee especially in a cooler fiber, or a warmer woolly cardigan on stormy chilly spring days! I have worn my Not Perfect Linen dress to death, I just love it. I have had my eye on one of the wrap jumpsuits and it looks so good on you, especially with the cute cardigan!
Love your colour palette, both in your knits and the Not Perfect Linen items.
So excited to see your esther jacket come together! Absolutely love the linen pieces :)
I have been eyeing Not perfect linen for months now! Love love love the styling with knits!
Thank you for such a great episode! I love the little fashion show and the linnen clothes, such a pretty way to style your hand knits ❤
I’m loving the coastal aesthetic this spring/summer and I’m looking forward to styling linen pants with my lighter weight wool sweaters and sandals!
I can't stop admiring your stella quilt cushion. Great episode!
I love the styling video!! As someone who is also learning to sew and knit, I love that I get to coordinate my makes with my own color palate.
I loved your styling section of this video Marlene, a really cool addition to your traditional podcast, those redwood trousers are stunning and that jumpsuit looks great on you! Great to meet you at WoollyGood last weekend! 🎉
Thanks so much Jo, I very much enjoyed meeting and chatting with you ☺️
Linen and handknits are just the ultimate combo during spring/autumn!
What a nice episode. Green suits you so much btw 🌞
I love wearing my hand knits with not perfect linen! I've been trying to add a few pieces each year. Thank you for some inspiration and a fantastic give-away.
Love watching your podcasts 😊 I like to style cropped sweaters or short sleeve tees with dresses 👗 or linen pants with knitted tops. Now that I got back to knitting I try to wear my knitted and crochet tops daily!
🎉congratulations Marlene👏 you look so good, I think woolen knits and linen is such a beautiful combination. Enjoy your knitting plans! 🥰
Marlene I really enjoyed this podcast! Love your styling segment with your knits and NPL, what a perfect match! Off to sign up for their newsletter and thanks for a chance to win a gift card 😊 I also loved seeing your thoughts for summer knit wear. I so need to get started on that! Have a great time at your yarn festival, and I look forward to seeing your blog about it.
I’ve been exploring the options at Not Perfect Linen and it was helpful to me to see how the clothes look on you. I think they have a nice variety of choices and tons of options for colors! Beautiful. Anyway, I’ve been watching your episodes for a couple of months now and I really enjoy seeing your makes. Thanks for sharing.
So nice to see how you style your knits and linen clothes! Love not perfect linen, just hope they would have larger sizes in all of their beautiful clothes.
Loving this episode and the linnen pieces you've chosen! They are the perfect pieces for all year round I would say. I really love the look of them and will hopefully get around to sewing a few pieces myself for the upcoming hot weather!
The linen looks great on you. I love linen and handkints in the summer, so comfy and cool.
I love notsoperfect linen . I have a couple of their dresses that my knitwear go over so nicely. I love how they allow alterations to fit our own unique bodies. Just like our knitwear!
Long and so so lovely episode, as always! 😍Keeps me company while doning the dishes and other boring stuff ☀️ . And the linnen garnments are sooo beautiful ❤👍
I rediscovered linen last summer and I cannot wait to have a warm enough weather in the UK to start wearing it again. I have a pair of rust coloured dungarees and I love pairing them with either a plain white t-shirt or a grey handknit sweater I made last spring. Having some Note Perfect Linen garments would be a dream 🤍
It´s really lovely and inspiring to watch your podcasts and i want to say you have an excellence taste choosing what you knit and sew. By the way the linen jumpsuit is very very beautiful.
I love that I found your channel. Its so nice to see what someone else living in Germany is knitting! I don't have very many summer knits yet but I'm definitely planing on making some this year. :)
I loved the way you styled the striped jumper with the deep red trousers♥️
I do have a small hand knitted wardrobe because I have mostly done gift knitting 😂 but I am happy to realize that I use one of my hand knitted jumpers all the time✨
I love your style, and thank you for sharing some of your outfits, it's great inspiration! We moved to a warmer climate, so it's inspiring to see how you've paired your handknits with linen. :)
I've been dreaming of a lot of cardigans this spring to have some better layering pieces! Loved watching the styling portion and your beautiful cumulus blouse!
I LOVE your style, Marlene. The linen paired with your knits are so lovely. And I really like the way you styled your hair in this video too. Also, thanks for hosting the Cumulus Mini KAL. I just finished my Cumulus and it's out on the deck, drying in the sun as I type this. It was a lot of fun to be a part of the KAL!
Thank you so much! I’m glad you had fun with this KAL as well 🌞
Love the styling section of your video! Especially the jumpsuit. Great outfit for spring and summer!
Wow I LOVE the way you styled your knits & linen pieces - the way that your stripe hype sweater's stripes matched the pants is *chef's kiss*. I WISH I were in Edinburgh that weekend! It would be such a joy to meet both you & Vanissia! And lastly, I love that as usual, your videos showcase so many gorgeous shades of green in so many types of fabrics haha - love your cumulus blouse!
Oh it would’ve been amazing if you could’ve joined, such a fun weekend and gathering! ☺️ and thank youuu ✨
I love styling linen and wooly hand knits. Lately I’ve been into just layering everything oversized. Long skirts and dresses with long cardigans or oversized sweaters. ❤
Ooooh I loved your styling segment!! Your outfits are so inspiring and effortless ✨
I changed to linen last season, a perfect match with all my knits. Marlene, your style is beautiful!
I’m always so happy when you upload a new video. I love your yarn and color choices and you inspire me to sew more! I’ve recently got a sewing machine and I’m very excited to continue my fiber arts journey ❤
I'm so glad! love to hear that 🧡 we love all fiber arts around here!
Linen and wool is just a lovely and classic combination 😻 I only have one linen shirt by now so a skirt, dress or pants would be lovely to add to my wardrobe 😊
Always loved linen and your styling with knits has got me thinking. The Not Perfect Linen jumpsuit is gorgeous!
I live in the desert where it fluctuates from very hot to very cold. I tried linen bedding a few years ago and will never go back. I would love to be able to incorporate more linen garments. I’m in love with some of the pants from not perfect linen. My favorite outfit was the one with your stripe hype sweater, and I’m currently knitting on one of my own! I also can’t wait to see your peacock tee 🤩
Hi Marlene, I just made my first pair of pants in a linen fabric and I love combining it with my knits. Being able to make my own clothing and accessories, whether it's sewn, knitted or crocheted, feels so exciting and fulfilling! Thank you and Not Perfect Linen for the giveaway 🤞🏻 Beautiful styling by the way 🤩 Sandy
I love how you've styled your knits! The Not Perfect Linen shows off your knits beautifully and the colours are gorgeous together ❤
Your style is so relaxed and chic at the same time! Loving the linen pieces combined with wool :)
Thank you so much!
So nice to see how you style your knits! Looking forward to see more of those styling capsules.
Love your styling episode. I also really enjoyed your Switzerland 🇨🇭 episode/vlog. Good luck to all of us! Your clothes are amazing.
How I love your podcast - your charm and genuine approach! Always happy when there is a new episode. So exiting with your collab with Not Perfect Linen. I love their clothes and already has some in my wardrobe but dream of more. Now I am on their newsletter as well.
I have been eyeing the not perfect linen pieces for a while. Thanks for the knitwear pairing inspo! ❤
I love your style, spring is all about colour!
Thank you Marlene for your lovely inspiring video. It is sooo Nice to wear linen garments with handknits.
Hello Marlene, I do like your styling of Not perfect linen with the knitted items. Fabulous look. You have inspired me. I love all the coffee to ginger colours. 🧶👌
Really loved the styling section. It’s so inspirational to see how others style their pieces to come up with new ways to show off your hand makes. Also love the tee stash section, some great ideas for projects at this time of year. Thank you.
It's quite cold where I live this spring so I feel like I haven't changed my style yet. It's still cold enough to wear a sweater with mohair which I pair with jeans and my Blundstones. I do wish I had jumped on the tiny scarf trend earlier because that would be a perfect addition to my wardrobe this spring. Happy spring knitting Marlene.
Looking forward to wearing my warm weather handknits and adding a couple new ones this year.
I have so enjoyed watching all your videos. Watching the way you style your outfits is one of my favorite parts about your videos. The colors you pick are always so lovely. I have definitely been inspired to try adding some linen pieces to my wardrobe.
Marlene, I absolutely loved your styling, especially the linen jumpsuit.🖤 Also your sewing journey inspires me to continue on mine as I am huge on/off sewer, hopefully it will last this time.)) Sending love from Czechia!
I am new to your channel - you kept me company while I knit and sewed - I too enjoy knitting for my handmade clothing and love to pair my knits with linen for all times of the year. Thanks for the inspiration. I love your color palette. Thank you Marlene!
Yeah🎉 Another great episode! Love watching them. I enjoyed seeing how you styled your beautiful linen pieces. I am grateful for getting new ideas ❤
I also love to wear linen in spring and sommer. Most likely dresses😊
I wish I could be in Scotland to meet up with you! You seem like such a thoughtful and considerate person. Thank you for creating videos so carefully and beautifully. ❤🧶🪡
I love your colorscheme in the styling! Very relaxed but thoughtful
I have sewn linen skirt for myself and it's my favourite piece to wear! Your color palette is very nice! I myself have never liked to wear black although sometimes I must wear it when singing in concerts with my choir or when going to funeral.. Now I have decided I should knit black fancy sweater for cold days regarding those two occasions :)
Hi Marlene! It's great to see you again. I love my not perfect linen pieces too, they go so well with handknits for sure 😊 I'm looking forward to seeing your Scotland vlog since I'll be visiting hopefully this summer 💖
I really like the way you styled your knits. Every time I wear more than one knit that I made I always feel so cool 😎😂 NPL make such beautiful pieces, i'm wearing my moroccan red pants all day everyday during summer 🌞
I love the way you styled your linen and hand knits! I also agree that a dress and sandals is the go to for spring and summer!
Oh I so love your colour aesthetic, I am definitely in the ‘granola girl’ camp as well. Linen and hand knits go so well together, a match made in heaven ❤
Thank youu! It is ✨🧡
I've been wanting to try not perfect linen for a while now! I just love all the pieces I've seen other knitters style with their handmade pieces.
I love the colour combinations with your linen clothes and knitwear! I really enjoy your podcasts!!
For helical knitting, I just start doing it for the last third of a skein, so you don’t have two balls attached for the whole project. Helical knitting is very simple. You just slip the last three stitches of a row, then use the new yarn. When you get to three stitches before your first yarn, slip three stitches, drop the second hand, and then pick up the first and repeat!
I’ll definitely have to try it!
Another lovely episode, and congrats on 10k!!! 🎉🎉🎉 I especially enjoyed seeing how you styled your linen pieces for the transitional weather. It has given me a few ideas for myself, though admittedly I’m currently knitting a summer top as I watch. 😊❤
Loved this episode, especially the styling portion. The colour palette of all the pieces together is stunning!
I have been loving your content! Such a great mix of knitting and styling. ❤
Your curated spring outfits are perfection 🤩
Ich freue mich jedes Mal, wenn eine neue Folge rauskommt. Immer wieder sehr inspirierend, danke für, dass du deine Sommerprojekte mit uns teilst ! :)
Love, LOVE the gathered linen skirt with your mudo jumper!
I love everything you made and I always like your choice of colors 💕
Oh Marlene I love your style and your Notperfectlinen outfits so much! 😍
Love your styling section!
love the way you style your knits and linen!! i’ve been wanting to invest in some linen pieces forever but haven’t allowed myself to make the jump yet
Love this green on you!❤ And with the cushion it looks so cozy this corner of your house! I have been looking at their linen pants for ages, but I am always scared to other these things online😊
i also love styling my knit sweaters (particularly my pink fuzzy harlow v-neck, inspired by yours :) ) over my handmade flowy linen dresses in the spring!
This was such a relaxing, inspirational video. Thank you. I'm glad to have found this channel. It's comforting to know that there are people who share my interests, and not even that far away from me! ❤ Also, your colour pallette is *chef's kiss*
I love the way you styled everything! After having 2 kids I'm now trying to find my style and what works for me
Love linen with knitted seaters. Looks so perfect
A perfect combination in the morning: coffee, my knitting, and your podcast. So much inspiration for my future projects. Thank you. ❤❤❤❤❤
Ohh thank you ☕️☺️🧶
I love the styling portion of this episode!!!
I love the way knitting has taught me to be conscious of fibers! the linen looks beautiful with the knits
Loved this video. My fave combo for spring is definitely skirts and cardigans! But I need to branch out so I loved seeing how you styled your hand knits for spring!
I had a lovely time knitting with you this afternoon.❤ I love wearing linen so I would love to be entered. Thank you, Marlene!
The way you style your knits with the linen pieces is stunning! ☀️
Don't get rid of the blue! I think you could get a color you're more in love with by marling it with another color (maybe an emerld green or a light green) to deepen and enrich it! I haven't been really styling my handknits with anything but I think if i finish a lighter shirt/sweater I would wear it with a nice linen skirt (and maybe personalize the skirt by adding some embroidery
Linen and knitwear is the perfect combination! I think that linen pants and a sweater is one of my absolute favourite summer/spring outfits! 😊 Also, I think that the Caramel Sweater looks great. I really like the way that the dye pools.
I love your videos - it makes me want to knit and sew in the colors you are using. They are so beautiful :)
I do love the combination of knitting and sewing ❤
