I was looking forward to Evolved being out by now but somehow Amazon says it comes out OCT29 this year, and May 2025, at the same time. HUH? But I get to play HEROIC with the creator of the game on his channel later this month :)
Do you need the Cypher System main rulebook to make characters and play this? (apologies if you covered it in the review and I missed it. I blame election fatigue.)
Short answer, “No.” All the material from the core rulebook AND claim the sky is in the SRD, which you can download as a PDF. And there’s a character creator on the MCG website, though it helps to have the books.
