Man, what a video, over 4 minutes of intro feels almost like an Ethereal Ambient music video, aesthetic 100/100, this isn't just a tips and tricks video, it makes me feel dreamy and super inspired both for my music and my photography journey, I absolutely love it, much love Steven
Tip #4 Watch your back...Chances are someone is watching you and eyeballin’ that pricey camera, take along someone who will have your back, I speak from experience.
I keep coming across your videos at random, you always happen to have some content created around what i'm searching for. Definitely gotta subscribe now, your videos are so good.
@@PERIKLIS1 do you shoot handheld or on a tripod at night? If handheld I would say the 35mm f1.8 can work. That’s the widest prime lens I was able to find for that system. Also maybe worth looking at might be the Tokina 11-16mm f2.8 if you want a zoom. 🤷🏼♂️
@@StevenSchulzPhoto I shoot handhelp and as you understand it is difficult with the night shoots. The 35mm f1.8 is also my first thought cause the D5200 is a crop camera (it will be like 50mm). Also, do you think that is it a good option for someone to buy a compact camera like Sony RX100 IV etc? (cause is easy to carrying)
With my set up I have to use a tripod to keep the iso low and then can drill down the aperture for a greater depth of field.. Using also a 2 second timer aids. Any moving objects may blur but that would be for effect purposes. Just learning to be more selective. Framing etc.
@@thegroove2000 I definitely understand your point. Using a tripod and doing a Long Exposure is definitely a good way to keep your photos noise free.👍🏻
Had some fog roll in about the same time, was having a blast shooting. I completely understand when you said this was the most fun you’ve had in a while. Great flicks, wonderful tips, and great video! 🤙🏽
No doubt, your photos are amazing, but the video too. I am curious about your video too. Are you filming by yourself? ..or with an "assistant "?...I suppose you had used a tripod for your Canon EOS..I am really curious about your practice. Your youtube channel is really nice and you english is clear, very appreciated to the non English-speaking that I am.
Really enjoyed your photos. Do you use the mechanical shutter or the electronic shutter? I'd think using the electronic shutter would have would help keep camera movement less of an issue. Although it doesn't play well with LED or fluorescent lights.
Thank you for the kind feedback. I used the mechanical shutter. The only time I use the electronic shutter is when I am in crowds and tusks photos of people
Amazing Shots my man. Just wanted to know which lens did you use for Low Light Photography? The stock lens that comes with camera or XF 35mm. Cause I'm thinking of getting the camera with XF 35mm f1.4

I have the Nikon D5200 with the kit lens 18-55 VR. What lens do you propose to buy for night photos?
Do you shoot more on the 18mm end of that lens or the 55mm?
@@StevenSchulzPhoto When the light is low I shoot at 18mm.
Generally, I use the aperture mode and rarely the manual mode.

I personally like that Sony series but would only consider it as a secondary camera. Definitely very pocketable though.

Of course if there is plenty of light may use handheld.
I try and keep the low light images noise free as possible unless for effect.

These photos are awesome man and What lens did you use if you don’t mind asking?
Thank you! Appreciate that. I used the Fujifilm 27mm f2.8
Amazing Shots my man. Just wanted to know which lens did you use for Low Light Photography? The stock lens that comes with camera or XF 35mm. Cause I'm thinking of getting the camera with XF 35mm f1.4
To be honest anything will do as long as you find the right light. For this one for example I used the 27mm f2.8
are all of the shots straight from the camera? if so, what recipe are you using? i cant find a good one for night photography
I used a Porta 400 recipe to get an idea what the exposure would look like but edited the raw file in the end
What lens did you use here?
The Fujinon 27mm f2.8
consistency this 2023!
Trying to keep it that way😉
did you use black mist filter ?
In these shots I didn’t. Probably would have been reall cool though
Banger shots man. What lens was that?
Thank you so much. I have the Fujifilm 27mm f2.8 on it. Basically permanently attached.
No tripod? Wow!!
It’s just too much for me carry 🤷🏼♂️
What camera are you shooting the main video with?
The Canon EOS R
Did you use a recipe?
Superb👍👍🙏🏻
