The lyrics are so deep, man. I can feel your loss. I’m losing my father, as I said before, and this level of emotion is almost too much.
The song is absolutely gorgeous. Your piano playing is really nice - smooth.
The harmonies are SO full - not all voices blend with themselves. In that lower range, especially, they blend so beautifully.

Just as Bobby Alcott said, I can feel the hurt, downward spiral and desperation in this song. It takes REAL courage to show other people that deep kind of pain we all silently carry around inside, hiding it is the easier way to go about our day and putting it out of our mind's pretending even to ourselves that it doesn't exist so we don't have to face it.
