These two KILLED me in season 2! Especially Tissaia, all heartbroken over losing Yennefer, and for her to be alive and come to her...DAMN! Not sure what the ending in the last episode was, but that will not ruin my joy because I know Tissaia always has something planned.

Tissaia was expecting to die and told yennefer to nuke the field, including herself because they had no choice and the way yen still was able to control her powers to 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘵 Tissaia.

Yen had nothing, she was tossed aside, treated like a slave, and Tissaia saved her. She may not have known it then but that is her daughter, Tissaia is the mother Yen never had, she gave her the love she always craved, that she deserved. They're willing to tear down the world for each other. I will never be over these two, this video is amazing

God I'm in love with this video. Your editing is gorgeous and shows so many parallels, and the song makes me cry. These two kill me, especially after season 2. All Yennefer has ever wanted is for someone to truly love and care about her but she's so broken down and I think stuck on her own idea of what that love should look like-the simple adoration and dependency that a baby would give her-that even when Tissaia is *right there* telling her she'd do anything for her, that she's worth more than her magic, that she has something to give the world, Yennefer can't see her love. I wonder if she even realizes the depth of her own love for Tissaia, even after literally running back to Aretuza and then to Sodden just because Tissaia asked (or Yennefer thought she did).
I love how they're written, how there's always such clear longing under the posturing and forced emotional distance and how when all the layers of defenses are stripped away there's nothing they wouldn't do for each other.
I also can't stop thinking about the fact that Tissaia telling Yennefer "your pain is my pain" is *exactly* what Vilgefortz says to Tissaia episodes later when declaring that he's in love with her. Like, there's no way that whole parallel wasn't intentional.
I don't know what to think about Tissaia in the last episode either except that accidentally putting a bounty out on the woman she's loved and protected for decades definitely fits with the horribly tragic irony that seems to surround them TT_TT
