Thank you Focus for this. Wow! Thank You Jesus for answering my prayer to continually open my eyes to sins I need to repent on so I may continue to grow in You! Hallelujah! I failed with my kids in this area. Forgive me Father. Parents listen up! This is a great message. I pray that all who listen will be brought into repentance and Father that You will change our hearts and attitudes in Jesus Name amen.

Brant mentioned that we have to be in community, and to be known, to accomplish some of the things he's talking about. It can be nearly impossible to find true Christian community in the American church today, especially if you are a single person (singles are highly ostracized in most churches). I've heard others say that the true church simply doesn't exist in our time, and I would have to agree with that (unless you're living in some place like Iran).

That book changes my life (as for Unoffendable, which I found out about thanks to focus as well). Thank you so much for teaching me the truth about me. 😉😄

I feel I went to the opposite spectrum. I have considered myself far inferior to those around me and got tangled in shame.. With what you shared (which makes sense), how do we also avoid getting into self-degradation cycle (which is also unhealthy)?

"Thank you, Lord, that I am not like this Pharisee..." Oh no!
