Its a beautiful; I like the dueling lead guitars. I first heard it on a live version done after the 2017 coup. The other favorite mine is one featuring Jonah Sithole.
@@cacaofarmertropicalplants look in the notes, because with the engineering sound of the mbira, and the bass, it sounds more recent. Additionally, it sounds like Chris Muchabaiwa on background vocals, and he started with Mukanya around 98/99
@@justinchitakatira3175 guitarist Joshua Dube, with accompaniment by Banning Eyre (his solo riffs from 6:26 to 7:10) Banning told me that he worked with Joshua bouncing ideas back and forth til he came up with what we hear there. I think this song both captures the band at their absolute sweetest peak (in my opinion) as well as illustrates the great musician that Banning is; he holds a well-earned spot in TBU history books (one of which he wrote, lol) Awesome guy, that Banning!
Thanks a lot. This version is found on *Unlimited hits vol 1*
the guitar works, the drums, the lyrics, the mixing - in afrika we only have 1 thomas mkanya mapfumo!

Best ever combination of Mbira.. Hosho guiter Ngoma plus the man himself. Barry White anosara pasi. Mukanya makaridza. I National Anthem iyi. 🧑🎓
Number one Thomas Mapfumo
Mukanya is unmatched...
Label trademark brand
This doesn't sound like Jonah Sithole on that guitar, but probably Ephraim Karimaura or Sugar Chiweshe.
@@justinchitakatira3175 Thanks. I wasn't sure; for some reason my memory was telling me I'd read it in the linear notes or credits on the album.
