    Beautiful video. I just shot some pictures with the a7S III and the Sigma 24-70 DG DN. I was quite surprised with the outcome. The pictures came out pretty awesome for a video centric camera. Btw... your youngest is pretty much a spitting image of you. Keep up the good work Vu.

    Nice ... that's how it should look when called cinematic. Watched a comparison between the a7S iii and the bmpc6 and the main difference that made it more pleasing on the BM was the difference sharpness. That's all gone in your footage.

I've actually bought the 1/4 version, and your video made me think about my decision of getting the 1/8 instead of the 1/4, what would you recommend me ??

    Very nice video. What was your decision making process for going with Artlist? The price looks good and I am trying to make a decision. Some services have OK prices for UA-cam content but their commercial content prices are brutal. Other services have a ton of content -- but it is almost too much content if that makes sense.

    • @AxelGizmo
      @AxelGizmo 3 роки тому +2

      Think one should buy both strengths, 1/4 and 1/8. Reason No 1: the effect is stronger on a wide lens, less prominent on a long lens. To look consistent, you'd need 1/8 for a 24mm and 1/4 for a 85mm. Reason No 2: You may want a more subtle effect every now and then. Reason No 3: You can stack them to become a 3/8, for the dream sequences. Like here:

    Great shots ! I've noticed a focus issue with my A7siii when filming some wide angle landscape shots, front lit. The AF-C (Large + Zone) seems sometimes to be "hunting", doing micro adjustments. This happens with both my Sony 24mm 1.4 and my Tamron 28-75mm, especially when shooting wide open. Wondering if some other A7siii users have also encountered this problem ?! NB. I have done the exact same shots with my good old A7iii, with no AF-C issue at all
