So is the turbo setting a higher temperature or the rate at which the steam comes out? Also would you happen to know how hot the steam is that comes out of it? And how long did it last? do you still have it? Appreciate a reply thanks
Very nice video, you are very concise, very detailed on the Conair Steamer. Thanks for sharing the info.
Is the highest setting safe for men's suits?
When I was a kid I never thought I'd be searching this up, glad I'm not not alone haha.
Ha!!!
Thank you for taking time to demonstrating on how to use the Conair turbo extreme steam.
you mention this being quicker than an iron; with a good iron that has a steamer function that might not be the case, but a steamer is probably easier, and definitely easier for things like blazer, cardigan, linen etc.
suggest using a cold press door pad to prevent long term damage to door.
I do my steaming up against the glass door on my shower.
I was looking to use this to pre- shrink fabrics before sewing. Trying to do it in the washer was a problem since the fabrics have different colors and it took forever to wash one piece at a time. The only problem I find is that carrying a gallon of distilled water while traveling out of the country seems to be a problem.
Steamer spits out water along steam. How to clean it
An excellent explanation, thanks a lot.
Glad you liked it
Thank you for this video!
You bet!
I bought this steamer, but after having used it for 2 weeks, it began spilling out water. Im wondering if it's gotten damaged, or if it will return to work properly.
I have not has any issue with water spilling out.
Thank you so much for the information. I have a question. Today is the first day I used the steamer.
Some sound is coming like " puff puff " .why is that? Like something stuck. Please help me. I am waiting for your reply. Thanks 😁
I have no idea. My sure you use distilled water if you can. If it is not working right, then return it for another one.
Mine DOES NOT WORK
how to open it and fill it up with water?
Thanks for the great review. Which model is this... is it the GS54?
Here is the link: amzn.to/2zYXArq
Same like your other video, you don't demonstrate the clip usage. Thanks though. :)
is this good for coats too?
It should be.
Do you know the temps on the steam in standard mode and turbo mode?
I believe it is the same
I bought this at Costco and it's a complete piece of crap. I had the previous non-turbo version which seemed to work a whole lot better than this version.
It's been working great for me.
Yeah I got one from Costco and it’s not working. And I just realized that mine didn’t come with ANY of the attachments. But I can’t find my receipt 😢😫
@@alexrose8299 I dont think you need a receipt. They should be able to pull it up with your membership card.
@@AleX-zd6bi why doesnt it work
does this unit shut on and off or keep a constant steam until the water runs out??
It has a on/off button.
Practice your steaming...you could have done three shirts with the time ot took. Nevertheless, thank you for your review.
Sounds like your the steaming wisperer :)
I think i'm using mine wrong lol. I thought i'd be better at steaming.
HA! Keep on steaming!
It looks like E.T.'s head.
I just bought this. Thanks for the tutorial. I see one problem from watching your video, the on /off buttons are on the wrong side. It would be easy to burn steam your face.
how does it work on broccoli? (sorry . i'll see myself out)
😂😂😂
I have been steaming my guys cotton shirt for literally an hour and the wrinkles will not come out on high heat! I just got this thing and I want to cry because we have a funeral in the morning and it’s not freaking working!!!! I’ve filled it 5x already and the wrinkles won’t come out!!!!!!
Its not you its the steamer i tried on husband uniform got flustrated through in dryer on wrinkle free after hour then ironed
Good, fair, and accurate review. I have one as well which I got it for killing fleas etc that would sometimes hitch a ride on my cat, and as a fast, easier "ironing" alternative. It's been truly fantastic. A lot of steam, very hot, quality product, not a budget buster. Works just as well as a larger $150 unit I had years ago but gave to my brother.
Isnt it like... Dangerous to steam the cat?? 🤔
Thank you so much for the tutorial; it's very helpful! My window treatment installer loves his and said it's the best on the market. So I bought one. I really appreciate your help!
Oh great! Glad it is of help.
Got this as gift. Haven't tried it. My Tobi travel steamer gave up , it has attachments for lint removal+. Hope I'll enjoy this & it lasts as long as Tobi travel steamer atleast 20 years!
That was a long time. Enjoy the steamer.
Wish you demonstrated the Creaser for pleats. Other than that, great information! Thanks
Appreciated the helpful video...just purchased mine yesterday from Walmart!
Sure thing.
I just bought this thank you for showing me how to use it
Very good demo
Thank you for the review! Buying this now! Happy steaming!!!
Great!!
Thanks
Can it be used for facial steaming
I would imagine that is dangerous.
Shit will burn the hell out of you.
May I ask which song begins at 7 minutes?
Been so long, I don't recall.
@@SidsTips All righty. No worries. I like the song :P
I purchased one today. Just finished reading the instructions but, I enjoy watching videos of products I've purchased.
Thank you for uploading this, very helpful.
Glad it was helpful!
My steamer spits and sputters all over my garments. any recommendations?
Make sure not to fill it up past the line. What kind of water are you using?
@@SidsTips distilled water and I have watched the level.
Hmmm. Maybe put in a little less water and perhaps that might help.
@@SidsTips I tried that. Guess I'll return it.
You may have a bad unit. Return it and get another one.
Thank you! Very helpful & very concise!
Can you use it horizontally I mean can you place your clothing item on the floor and steam it
Got this, yeah no thanks. I rather iron in my opinion way easier and faster
Works great mid day or evening for touch up or refresh. It's not to replace ironing. It's in addition of.
Thank you for the video. Is it allowed to use it horizontally? What does the manual say?
I am not aware of the restriction. I don't have the manual.
Hi! Really good review. Can this be used horizontally too as an iron?
Thanks. It should as long as you have enough water in the tank.
@@SidsTips oh! Thank you.
Is this the Model GS76GD? All the Product names are so close to the same.
It probably has changed since this video. This one looks very similar amzn.to/32CcAQs
my steamer4 is shooting water no steam WHY
This one is awesome!
yes it is.
So mine make a funny noise like a motor. Did you experience that?
I have had no issue with a funny noise.
Yeah mine won't even work unless I hold it upside down. I think mine was tampered with before I bought it at the store.
Mine also makes a funny motor noise and steam doesn’t come out
Mine made that funny noise, no steam. I read your comment, turned the whole thing upside down and it works perfectly! Thank you!
Mine works perfectly. Great investment
You might have shown how it works on collars etc
Hi man, is it still working till now? I wonder how durable this steamer
Yep. It’s great!
Do you know of one thats good that is cordless?
I don't.
Does this actually clean? Or just for wrinkles?
Wrinkles
Conair steamer products work great for a few weeks. Then they suddenly stop working I went through three of them. And I use distilled water
Hmm. I have not had issues with mine
How hot does it get?
One of the best investments to add into any home. Bought it & love it
Nice!
Lou it does. Gets rid of smell. Makes clothes feel new. Getting wrinkles out takes a while but still exciting
Nice gadget. When you are steaming do you have to keep it plugged in. Im trying to avoid wires. Are there USB chargeable ones ?
Not that I know of
I think I saw a battery powered one of some sort when I bought mine.
Can I use it to clean my fabric couches?
I would see if there are any cleaning instructions as every fabric will be different and you want to be careful not to damage the fabric but I would think you probably can and so I would probably do the low steam and maybe try a small area test before you do other areas of the couch.
@@SidsTips thank you so much, I’ll do that :)
Handheld sprinkler.
PhantomPanic 😩😂
Can that be used for a car?
For what?
SidsTips the interior
this steamer is not for travel is it?
Probably too big.
Pretty bulkie
Took mine to Vegas and it was great to have along. I brought a full sized suitcase though. Used it for every article of clothing I brought.
how effective really are these....
I have been using it and it seems to work well. Very easy to use!
SidScheckMarketing thanks as i think I'll go for the Rowenta version.
they look sturdier and more professional
Ok cool. Good luck with them.
Too bad you did not show if the steamer would work on the wrinkles on the front of the button down shirt by the buttons, still looks bad
May I ask what model number ? Is it a GS38?
U can get all the info here: amzn.to/2zYXArq
@@SidsTips Thanks for responding quickly. I'm going to check it out. Also, does it have two heat settings?
I'm confused... I saw another model GS54...is that the one you have? I just need the model number...should be on the box
No.
My steam is not coming out.. Am getting annoyed with it
That's strange. May have to get a replacement. I have no issues with mine
@@SidsTips I think so too.. I just got.. Thanks though
Thanks for the review.
Sure thing.
How critical is the distilled water factor?
I think it helps avoid damaging the unit in the long term.
It's because tap water is hard water, so when you boil it, the calcium and impurities will solidify in the steamer causing it to get blocked
@@DrMarvinLara Thanks for sharing.
I ruuiined my iron using hard tap water, definitiv use DISTILLED WATER
You can definitely tell you haven't had much practice with this
I have and doing great with getting the wrinkles out.
@@SidsTips that's good cause you weren't in this video
