Golden Age Superman fighting the Anti-Monitor is still one of his best feats ever. Neither could put the other down, to the point where Anti-Monitor got fed up with Superman and decided he was a threat worthy of being destroyed with everything he could possibly throw at him. The fight was really dope, even Superboy Prime lent a hand in that battle. Anti-Monitor at that point was no joke, arguably on par if not greater than what The Darkest Knight became. Which was a huge reason why The Darkest Knight didn't want to fight Superboy. Pre-Crisis Variants and the Golden Age Supes are just on another level of absurdity.
They actually low-balled the fight as "taking a universe to the face". Still insanely impressive of course, since it was anti-matter after all and that just plain annihilates normal matter regardless of how tough it is, but get a load of this. The Anti-Monitor in that storyline was destroying every universe with his anti-matter waves, and he was doing so to absorb the resulting energy into his own anti-matter universe. The multiverse pre-crisis was infinite, and only about four or five were left by the time the main Supes found out about it. He absorbed infinite other universes (minus five) into his anti-matter universe, and threw THAT at Superman!
Green Lantern Hal Jordan (as Parallax) went back in time to beat up Anti-Monitor during the Crisis and brought current mainline Superman from the post crisis universe to the current one. I’m a huge Lantern fan so seeing Hal 1v1 Anti-Monitor at his peak was awesome. (Lois and Clark 1 I think?) And he also brought mainline Superman and Lois back to us.
@@wr5488I mean Hal Jordan outwilled the God of Will itself lol. Hal Jordan overpowered the embodiment of Will, in a fight of Will Power; The dude is insane lol. I love Hal Jordan so much; His greatest strength also being his biggest flaw.
Superman's greatest conflicts are not ones of combat, but those that test his character. His powers are so enormously great that a fight isn't where he really struggles. When Superman is faced with an enemy that can challenge him intellectually like Lex Luthor or bring into question his motives, that is where Superman shines. Seeing Superman stand his ground for truth and justice against an opponent that brings those ideas into question shows why he's a special character
Depends. Even in the current era, Superman will still struggle at times. Like it's not impossible to have an issue fighting dudes. Like in the recent comics, he fought against a man called the Chained and he was able to fight the Super family off at the same time for a while.
There was a great example in a recent comic where a bunch of people basically started a Superman Cult, and were going to throw themselves off the top of buildings all across Metropolis. Then Metallo showed up and started thrashing Superman. Superman started losing and they all started to stop seeing him as a god. But then it was revealed that Superman had let Metallo kick his ass because it was the best way to make them all go away. The solution wasn't to punch Metallo even harder than before, but to lose the fight and be humiliated, because Superman would rather lose a fight than put people in harms way, even if those people are being morons.
What people dont know too, is that supernan also knows how to do a susanoo too now. Yea, people that dont read DC comics, dont know how powerful superman truly is. Superman is a limitless character.
Goku will always be my boi....but it's superman! Haha I think my favorite part of this is that while Goku transforms for a boost Supes counters it by holding back a bit less lol wild but explains it all
They gloss over it each time, but Superman's Torquasm-Rao and Torquasm-Vo are very interesting. Rao is essentially ultra-instinct, and Vo allows him to resist reality alterations and fight on a mental battlefield directly. However, DB makes a very good point. Superman wouldn't have perfected either of those fighting styles nearly to the extent Goku has mastered his, so at least as far as skill with the style goes, Goku's Ultra Instinct would beat Superman's Torquasm-Rao. Still, now that Superman has someone that can actually push him a little in training, maybe he can really perfect Rao. You know, they should fight in one of their time/space chambers next time. Yes, Superman has one too.
I was just happy to see the wholesome interaction between two super powers. The fist bump at the end with a halo over gokus head was the cherry on top, and I'm a HARDCORE dragon ball fan. Great work on this one. I love goku, but supes is literally broken, like jutsu said. I have to admit that i was very happy to hear them say that goku does stomp alot of the lesser superman iterations, but not THE SUPE. That's a win in my book.
this ending sucks cause it's called Death battle so someone has to die in a brutal way just like other death battle fights so i wanted Superman to savage kill Goku like he did in Goku vs Superman 2 fight
I truly appreciate the in-depth analysis that was added to this fight Even though it was included in the prior 2 as well. But as they said, in the second video ending, Goku is as strong or slightly stronger than his opponents, superman, will always be as strong as the story needs him to be. I really hope this last video settles any other discussion that comes about these two people fighting. It’s time to move on. Did you see Frieza vs. Megatron?
Goku have a limited power, because he always have space to grown up and became stronger. But Superman have unlimited power... because he is Superman. I loved this 3rd round, that ending... that's so Superman!
I love how people say "broken" as a way to just say your ignorant to the character and their history. Like superman has literally had years to grow to this level in a universe that has been constantly growing, like 50 more then goku. The idea people always have of how the shit he can do is sooo broken and yet the shit goku can do is somehow normal or right is beyond just being willfully ignorant.
The only thing who can defeat Broken characters, main character, protagonist, choosen one, hero, villain, demon, gods is that you are not part of the setting. Also, rimuru is not a broken character his the main character of his anime.
I really liked this battle. They were respectful of both characters. But yeah it’s true, Goku doesn’t really scale to Superman’s level. Superman’s feats far outweigh Goku’s and it’s not even close. Goku’s whole thing is surpassing his limits to become even stronger, while Superman is a character that essentially has no limits. So when you compare the two like that, it’s even more obvious. Guy who can surpass any limit vs a guy who has no limits to begin with. Superman’s fights are usually never a test of power anyway, as he always holds back even against his villains cause that’s just who he is.
i love goku but superman is just the fkn 🐐😤 other goku fans would be mad fr if they even thought abt putting goku up against pre-63 supes😬 so this version of superman still winning is INSANE🤯 superman is on nother level it’s just unfair nonetheless it wassa great fight easily the best one ever 💯

He’d need to go to a Red Star and then somehow keep Superman there for a full day so he could get depowered. Plus Goku wouldn’t do that in the first place.
As a long time and still current Superman comics reader there were a number of things I feel like they misunderstood/misinterpreted about Supes' abilities but at the end of the day Supes at his most powerful was literally pushing earth sized planets around in their orbits (though even for him it was a real strain). So I cant exactly say they got the outcome wrong. Was a helluva fight though, with better chirography then what we saw in most of the DBS anime.

i read somewhere that post crisis superman is like ssj 3 goku power so anything below that is a tossup for superman, hes heat vision is strong enought to cut goku in half with a direct hit, supermans biggest weakness if hoding back, and thats a weaker version of superman.
My favorite part of yhe end of the fight was that they hit so hard they obliterated the multiverse so Goku’s soul had nowhere to go so Clark was there with him
good thing dragon ball isnt done yet , every video goku has progressed and got a new form. im just saying its only a matter of time until he actually does scale up to superman 👀
Maybe after another ten years. Cause that's how long it took Goku, since the first Death Battle between him and Superman, to reach a point that Superman was backed to a corner, enough that he had to use the Super Flare, almost a last resort move.
The scaling of their relative abilities is just as Wiz & Boomstick say later...We're taking the both of them *at their best* We all know that Goku would not have it any other way. But they're also right about the DB thing as a whole...It's the use of *fiction* for the purpose of *entertainment* not to denegrate or disparage any sociopolitical ideology. It's their attempt to get us saying, "Who cares who won or lost, that fight was AWESOME!" Take Popeye vs Saitama for example...Both are fictional characters but one wields the (quite probably) most broken power of all...'Toon Force. The only thing that can truly defeat a wielder of 'Toon Force would be another, more clever, user of 'Toon Force; even then the results are not necessarily permanent. Heck, I don't even think Judge Doom's use of The Dip (Who Framed Roger Rabbit) could eradicate Popeye because he can always be restored by spinach that he can always obtain at will, albeit by one means or another; Popeye survived his whole universe being turned off & total disintegration but The Dip still retains thin wisps of color floating on it surface & that's more than enough for Popeye to work with. Besides, Judge Doom was still firmly imbedded within his own world that's limited to 'toons & live humans...Popeye transcends that into the world of our real life creators & artists that *made* his 'toon world in the first place. As far as it goes for Superman, his biggest challenge come in having self-doubts about his character & the mindset he carries with him. It's because of this that Superman ever had any limits or fluctuations in power levels is because he's always had to be careful to *not* destroy anything or anyone by accident...His biggest challenge is to figure out if he's doing the right thing for the right reasons. To Superman, Goku is an extremely rare opportunity to cut loose without having to hold back anything...Indeed, Goku has become powerful enough that Superman literally had to pull out all the stops because Goku just kept leveling up right before his eyes; when Superman said that Goku almost had him, he was not lying or being condescending. However, the same reason *why* Superman limits himself doesn't apply with Goku because he's aware that, no matter what happens, either one of them can use the Dragon Balls to restore everything back to its normal conditions. They're living in a World of Cardboard that can be restored as if nothing happened. Also, Superman being able to look into Goku's mind & soul let him see that Goku is essentially Pure at Heart, not acting for the sake of being malicious or destructive...He can *trust* Goku & even be a staunch ally if the need arises. this is why Superman can actually have some fun with a sparring match. As far as Goku sees it, as a man so strongly dedicated to training & fighting & especially overcoming his own limits, he finds Superman to be the *perfect sparring partner,* capable of pushing Goku's limits & making him stronger with each battle. Sure, the gap between them is vast but Goku keeps gaining ground just as Superman also learns more about his own capabilities & his *will* to use them when necessary. They both know that, no matter who wins or who loses they can count on each other to restore any collateral damage, instead of fighting a desperate battle against a certain threat to all of that. Overall though, the way Wiz & Boomstick were going at each other in the end, I'd almost half-expect see a Death Battle made just between them. Never mind who wins or loses, it should be entertaining, to say the least. Ya' hear me thinking?...
I actually wish this was the only goku v superman death battle they made. Doing this THREE times and justifying that superman is way too powerful just feels like hate towards goku. I don't mind if superman really is stronger, I just don't get them saying 'because it's fun' while believing that superman is just way beyond.
The creator of death battle and the voice of Wiz literally made this because the last 2 were horribly dated, very inaccurate, and the 2nd one was crazy condescending towards Goku. He despized the last 2 which is why we got this one at all. And we really needed this one.
Oh, yeah. 100% Goku wouldn't even be able to move, much less touch Flash, honestly. No amount of strength or power mustered by Goku will ever be enough to beat Flash. Goku can't beat Flash if the very essence of movement is stolen from him.

This was real good and in other timelines goku wins and loses as what it seems like at the end. But superman is broken as much as goku but even more because the writers are ridiculous 😂😂
Mr. Mxyzptlk is similar to Popeye; Being able to interact with the IRL writers/editors in DC. The World Forger scales above Mr. Mxyzptlk and Superman KOed the World Forger (World Forger just stood back up after a little while though; It's literally a 6D being). Or Dr. Manhattan being from a different series (Watchmen), hopping into DC; And couldn't erase Superman's exitence no matter how much he tried. He realized that Superman is a cosmic lynchpin in the DC metaverse, that he is the embodiment of Hope; The entirity of DC revolves around Superman. So I dunno if Popeye could even use Toon Force to actually put down Superman permanently.
Honestly, Goku and Superman are both so utterly broken that they probably shouldn't even be in Death Battles. The only reason they keep coming back is because people can't let this debate go.
Still not enough, Superman can knock down a being like the World Forger; A being that would make Zeno look like a chump; DC cosmology is just insane, in 5D Imps are able to actually interact with the writers/editors/artists IRL.
Suprman million is more than enough to neggs dbs cosmology..putting a powerful being like cas in this battle is ridiculous 😂..didn't hear any feat of cas in this battle..by the way cas nail is bigger than the whole dbs cosmology 😂..and that with out putting dc cosmology in the equation 😂😢..by the way still milkman suprman and sos far more powerful than cas ..they used some feat of suprman low.mid tier in this battle from golden age ..pre crisis...😂

And then you say superman has many forms but yet they used dragonbalp heroes and anime and manga continuity idc if he says its the same continuity its obviously not if different events took place anime is toei production version
lol clearly if you paid attention to all of the carefully researched facts and scans you would take back your comment especially when supes feat far outweighs whatever version Goku has done and it's not even comparable.
That's not how that works. The dude can cross his universe in seconds, you think he can't fly to another yellow sun? Plus, if Goku blew up the sun, Supes might get mad and hit a blue sun or white star instead and then Goku is truly screwed even worse than he would have been in the first place.
regards of the results, which should have been in Goku's favor, Death Battle was always going make superman win. He's their favorite hero, especially with that bullshit tibit regarding Superman being unable to fazed out of the existence.

Super man is not broken. He's working as intended. 😅
They got superman looking weak af even though he won 😂
Have you watched the Homelander Vs Omni Man and if not could we get a react to that
Honestly, Goku and Superman are both so utterly broken that they probably shouldn't even be in Death Battles. The only reason they keep coming back is because people can't let this debate go.
No Goku definitely been killed by Superman 3 times. He's not even on Superman level. But keep trying to convince yall selves 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@macnificentjohnson7311Damn that had literally nothing to do with what op said lmfao...
@SilverVibes I said that for a reason kid. Goku is trash. Superman is that guy
I now need SuperBoy vs Gohan
I really hope we get Goku vs Saitama soon. Goku can finally get a win
Wait wait wait
.. so what if he went against gogeta .. ? Surely he would stand a better chance ?? 😅
Even gogeta and vegito fused they would still get one-shot by superman
You should watch goku in the Naruto universe
Imma be honest; the way this video was cut is really annoying to watch. It skips in the middle of words, I can't really enjoy a video with that happening every other few sentences.
Bro killed goku
Superman wins wins
they also had Saitama beat superman 🤷♂️
It was a fan voted battle
💎✨👌
Try
Zeno sama Vs Superman
In a blink of an eye superman gone
Did you miss where in the analysis they said Superman was immune to existence erasure?
Speed blitz that fodder
L ku lost with his hyperbolic strength 😂 how do you still lose on a massive massive highball ? And then you say superman has many forms but yet they used dragonbalp heroes and anime and manga continuity idc if he says its the same continuity its obviously not if different events took place anime is toei production version
Goku did not have to go U.I. Ssj2 would’ve been enough imo
Delusional goku stands zero chance
Bro fans like you make us dragon ball fans look bad lol fr
lol clearly if you paid attention to all of the carefully researched facts and scans you would take back your comment especially when supes feat far outweighs whatever version Goku has done and it's not even comparable.
You make us Goku fans look bad bro
Goku base
Blow up the sun super is no more.
That's not how that works. The dude can cross his universe in seconds, you think he can't fly to another yellow sun? Plus, if Goku blew up the sun, Supes might get mad and hit a blue sun or white star instead and then Goku is truly screwed even worse than he would have been in the first place.
He can kinda just go to a dimension or universe that has a sun and be fine lmao.
Then he js goes and finds a new one in seconds lmao, and a blue one too
Also superman can create suns
If Goku destroyed the Sun, he’d probably just kill himself before it has any effect on Superman
regards of the results, which should have been in Goku's favor, Death Battle was always going make superman win. He's their favorite hero, especially with that bullshit tibit regarding Superman being unable to fazed out of the existence.
There is literally no argument for goku to win… and you understand that Manhattan tried erasing Clark … and he kept coming back right?
There's no bullshit at all. It's cabin rhat he cannot be removed erased and is immune to time manipulation be a use he breaks the time barrier too much.
Even supergirl recently time traveled.
hhhmmm, I need some salt for my food anyways llooll
It may be bullshit but that's just how it is lmao. Doesn't matter if we don't like it. It's true.
Ahh yes their favourite even though wiz voice actor hates superman
What they didn’t do is have him go god on ui too
Yea make up all those excuses. Goku is just no match for Superman at all.
@@macnificentjohnson7311this is isn't an excuse, buuuut since apparently they were using CC Goku, they didn't even include his universal blue form at all
@@ChillsEditzzit don't matter what you saying or what version of Goku they use. I'll tell you what put the most powerful form of Superman against the most powerful form of Goku and see how that turn out since yall so quick to say they didn't use this form or that form. He would get stomped so bad until it's not even funny
@@macnificentjohnson7311 Cmon man.... you make us Goku fans look bad and biased as all hell (it would seem we are). My friend if you put Cosmic Armor Superman/The Thought Robot against *any* version of Goku... it's a wash. There's nothing Goku can do.
@@ChillsEditzz This Goku is only DBS (universal level). They omited feats of Xeno Goku base vs Demigra.
