Hello genkis wonderful video spectacular take off and the same for landing it's a long time since l been in one of those planes strange seeing you in economy you like to travel in great style well I did enjoyed cheers Jerry
I flew to Ayer’s Rock back in the early 90s. We flew from Sydney to Alice Springs, then continued to AYQ. Same routing on the return flight. At that time, AYQ did not have security! We flew from AYQ to Alice springs and then everyone deplaned to go through security and reboarded the aircraft.
We thought about flying into Alice Springs, but I've heard it's not really safe there anymore lol. And it's a 5 hour drive to Ayer's Rock. Thanks for watching!
I fly to work in these Alliance aircraft weekly out of Cairns. The gate area generally has seats lining the walls, well, they were there a couple of days ago when I flew out. I have flown on this particular aircraft many times, down the back to hear those engines spool up and close ;). The only downside to these old girls is the air conditioning, during the summer months it's generally a stuffy/sweaty ride home from work.

I unfortunately couldn't climb Ayers Rock :(
Wonderful! Love this trip report. What a unique flight!
I wanted to fly the aircraft before they retired them, it was definitely worth it :)

Thank you for the kind words! Congrats on the 1k! :)
Tip: do not put up a window mount until before takeoff, it works 99% of the time.
Good tip! I've started to use the mount use the F/A's sit down :D

I would love a job that sends me out weekly on flights :D
I tried to get a seat in the back but they were all taken when I booked my flight :/
Amazing video 📸❤
Thank you! :)
you can tell Swissport cleaned the plane the night before because it's spotless lol
Hah! :)
Really nice clip! Love the image quality! Was the flight turbulent? Minor shaking in the footage of the cabin / tray table. Just curious.
Thank you!
This particular flight just happened to record the cabin at the worse times lol it wasn't too turbulent.
cairns is an wonderful airport lol
It’s a cool airport. The surrounding areas are beautiful :)
Isn’t that a virgin regional flight?
Some of these flights were flown for Qantas.
