- Join us for our last visit of our Christmas and New Year tour.
We visit the Beautiful medieval market town of Tewksbury, known for it's Abbey, historical buildings and devastating floods in recent times.
We wild camp near the Abbey and visit the town to investigate the shops and places to eat !
Mark is concerned that the river nearby is rising and starting to flood.

Thanks for the memories. Our lad has sung in the Abbey a few times with NYCGB. The stepping on the timber framed buildings is called jettying. Tale is it’s so when you threw your slops out of the window you didn’t get splash back on the below floors 😜

Driven through but never stopped, looks a nice town. Proper northerners, out in January with no big coat on, that's the way it is done haha

OMG you came to Tewkesbury, I so knew you would love it as much as me as we love it so much. The Chinese Hing Wah you have to try when you are next here as it is the go to Chinese in Tewkesbury. You must come back in the summer around July second weekend as there is normally a massive reenactment of the battle of Tewkesbury done over an entire weekend but I don’t know if they will start yet as it has been cancelled for the last few years. You will probably find videos on here about it xxxx
