Man it’s weird to watch these videos after not seeing your channel for years, I remember as a kid maybe 14 your videos got me into air guns and I got a little 120$ gamo break barrel .17 with a scope and started getting really into squirrel hunting and pest control for farmers! Hope you start posting more, maybe I’ll dust off the old gamo haha.
Hey man, I'm in the same boat. Im in my twenties now and I have a .25 marauder that just sits... I would love to break it out and help with pest control! I never did do that for farmers when I was a kid tho, could you tell me how you got into that and how it went? I'd like to do it but I dont know any farmers and don't know where to start :/ it would be awesome if you reply! Thanks
I realized after uploading that it may not be entirely obvious how I broke my WildCat. I left it on the bed, resting upright on the bipod when I went outside to gather up the dead starlings. While I was out, the mattress gave way from the weight of the gun, and the WildCat tipped over and rolled off the bed on to the floor. That is why I called myself “stupid.” 🥴 I should have laid the gun on its side.
That sucks Man, total gun abuse. It is great to see you making videos again. I've had a steady stream of Starling and Sparrows coming through my yard the past few weeks. I keep the Turkey Vultures well fed. I call them my clean-up Crew :-)
I have a wildcat (warcat) in25 Cal with a Optisan on it if I lay it on its side My scope will be off it takes about three shots for it to be back on target what in the hell could that be
Been watching him for awhile too but he doesn’t upload as much anymore been watching edgun leshiy’s channel and it’s so entertaining had to buy myself a leshiy 2 to rip
i've seen him commenting on other youtube videos a few weeks ago...he also might have made starlings extinct in his area and now has no content to make XD
There was a feral cat around my house who would hide in the bushes and whenever I shot a house sparrow under the bird feeder, she would dash out and grab it and take off. She was my retriever cat. I would occasionally put the sparrows and starlings on the corner of the driveway and at night the feral cats would pick up the sparrows but never touch the starlings.
We "want something 'different'"? No... I could watch dead starlings all day. And, yup... use the whole thing... "hit em with a lawnmower." works for me.
You are awesome! I’ve always shot the closest one to me not even paying attention to wether it was the parent or juvenile. Tonight I shot the parent first…. Holy sh@t, it worked!!! Little guy hung around, bad mistake! Bad ass brother, thanks for the tip.
I shot starlings many of times and the birds around it go crazy and wont leave was wondering why that happens ...Last week shot a starling and then a baby fell out the tree hole nest and before i could get over to it a bird of prey scooped it up and then got chased by 3 starlings...Starlings look out for eachother?? It seems so
Jsb Hades make a popping sound unlike any other pellet when they hit flesh whether it be starling or rat or anything in between that popping sound that it makes is so sweet
Finally checked back on you as I've been a subscriber since the very beginning. Probably one of the first 50 and had kinda given up on your. Good to see you back. This post is 1/17/2022 hope you are still around!
You’re easily the best air shooter on UA-cam, always a pleasure watching you. I’ve seen other tubers shoot badly and enjoy it, you’re an absolute professional.
love the raised middle finger to company ad whiners for the 1/20th of a second break at 00:49 .. took me five times to find it, but I saw it flash and **KNEW** I had to read it in a still frame.. nicely worded !!!!
In some restaurants I know in the Netherlands the starlings are a seasonal delicacy. In the Betuwe, where a lot of fruits are grown, they cause an enormous amount of damage during summer.
I love the hades pellets they expand until they are almost completely flat out of my brothers Benjamin Trail and have amazing accuracy out of that gun and my Umarex gauntlet when that worked
Ted you are my favorite. I live down in Miami and both me and my parents have purple Martin houses on our lake. I have grown up watching those wonderful birds and have also grown-up despising those little starling bastards. The fight down here is very real. Keep it up my friend.
Ted this is Jim from amazing air guns you are the only a fox guy that I have respect for and that I like and that I think would never BS. Where are your videos I haven’t seen anything on UA-cam. I have always watched you faithfully. Because with you there’s never any BS
My very first PCP arrived today (Seneca Aspen I ordered months ago) - I'm blown away with the accuracy and power and it will be an excellent hunter - I even took out a house sparrow already during my outdoor session with it.
I share your fun. When the fruit trees are about to ripen I bag about 70 blackbirds and some starlings. Also use the slug gun for rabbit shooting now, far more fun than the .22 magnum.
In Australia we get Starlings and Sparrows but not on my property. The big problem feral bird is the Indian Mynah. They bully the native birds and get the best nesting sites. Adults are almost always seen in pairs most of the year. The trick is to nail the first one and then patiently wait for the mate to come back and see why their partner is lying on the ground. Young ones often hang around in flocks and because they to have some loyalty to the group you can sometimes get 3 or 4 before they realise that their friends are dying. The big thing is don't miss. If they see you with the gun after you have missed them they learn and every time they see you with the gun off they fly. Drive past them on the ride on or in the car and you can get close to them. Have something long and black in your hands and they are gone as soon as you open the door.
during ww2 brussels people [belgium] ate starlings. after the war it became some sort of tradition. we [hunting family] sold our starlings to those people around christmastime.
Ahh, a Ted video! These make my day. I have tried watching several other pesting channels but none live up to Ted. You sir have my viewership as long as you make videos. Hope you have a good day.
You are right on. Being dispatching Starlings for over 20 years. Keep up the good work. Re: Decoys You mention in a previous video putting out decoys. We're the dead starlings or were you able to purchase man made decoys? Please advise.
Every Starling you eliminate, you save one of our songbirds. They're non-native invasive species brought over from Europe thus causeing destruction upon our songbirds.
Pretty good shooting. I have a problem with starlings in my area. They have moved out of range so I cannot shoot them. Starlings are very smart and have excellent eyesight. Thanks for sharing.
A question didn't you get the WC with different power after tightening the two screws? It makes a difference because the pellet probe is a little further forward or further back from the transfer port hole. Another thing that prevents the pcp from being able to arm is the trigger that is too light. It also can't arm.
I've been shooting ratcoon and chipmunks with a .357 impact with 81 gr pellets , can't wait to get some Hades for it . Or some FX hollow point slugs . Ammo in .357 is harder to find lately . Great video
I just came across this video and have to say thanks. I had no idea about the color difference between adults and juvy's. I always thought they were females. This has changed my shooting plans completely. Great video! Cats do throw starlings back up. I saw one jump a starling in our hay barn. It killed the bird and then started throwing up.
realy think you should go down painted skirts on pellets as it would add bit extra to your slow mo shots? 🖒 love your vids gd see u bk making them again
0:06 "I'm back in the bedroom and you guys want something different"
My wife yelled at me "What in the heck are you watching"
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Dosen't sound like you two are worthy of Mr Nimbus
@@ratshave4748 ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Hahahah 😂
@@ratshave4748I have no idea what this is referencing but it’s so epic in scope I must Like it.

I'm the same from the UK
"I know I just filmed a video from the bedroom a week or so ago…" and here I thought this was a wholesome family channel

Hi Ted!
That sucks Man, total gun abuse. It is great to see you making videos again. I've had a steady stream of Starling and Sparrows coming through my yard the past few weeks. I keep the Turkey Vultures well fed. I call them my clean-up Crew :-)
a modest 58008 lol
I have a wildcat (warcat) in25 Cal with a Optisan on it if I lay it on its side My scope will be off it takes about three shots for it to be back on target what in the hell could that be
Then, it is the time to pull out The Impact....
"I'm back in the bedroom again and you guys want something different".........
Oh dear god no!
Ted when you comin' back man? We miss you!
I love how there's chill music playing in the background while you're collecting the dead birds that you just shot lol
Lmfaoooo! I was just going to post that 😂😂😂😂
The music does indeed add to the video.
I like it.
"I'm back in the bedroom again, and I know you want something... *different* " ... Sounds like you've been talking to my wife 😒
Ted, we miss you Broseph! Hope all is good!
Ive been watching your videos for 10 years now. Only youtuber i havent strayed from. Keep up the great work man.
Ted is NR1
Been watching him for awhile too but he doesn’t upload as much anymore been watching edgun leshiy’s channel and it’s so entertaining had to buy myself a leshiy 2 to rip
Same!!! Ted was my first 😅
Same here. Very long time.
@1776 Airgunner Why?
It’s been 3 months dude since this video. I hope you and yours are well, safe, and healthy. I/we hopefully see you soon. God Bless.
i've seen him commenting on other youtube videos a few weeks ago...he also might have made starlings extinct in his area and now has no content to make XD

I never saw no one aiming with both 👀 eyes at the same time 👍
Still Strong. Always put a smile on my face to see you.
I am so glad you are making videos again!
This is what I miss. An impromptu, shortish, and yet educational and entertaining video!
Thanks, Ted.
You are awesome! I’ve always shot the closest one to me not even paying attention to wether it was the parent or juvenile. Tonight I shot the parent first…. Holy sh@t, it worked!!! Little guy hung around, bad mistake! Bad ass brother, thanks for the tip.
I’m pretty sure this guy got a lot of us into shooting pests with air guns
Please make a new video. PLEASE PLEASE
We need more videos from you.
Jsb Hades make a popping sound unlike any other pellet when they hit flesh whether it be starling or rat or anything in between that popping sound that it makes is so sweet
I like how you named the price $58008. Turn that upside down on a calculator, and what do you got? haha
I use a break barrel because it’s accurate, powerful, and durable
It’s also a .22
Finally checked back on you as I've been a subscriber since the very beginning. Probably one of the first 50 and had kinda given up on your. Good to see you back. This post is 1/17/2022 hope you are still around!
Love the ad space terms, only took me 50 clicks at .25 speed to read it. You're a funny guy Ted, thanks for the videos :)
did the same bro... feel you xD
in the future if your on pc use the , and . key also know as < and > when shift jumps frame by frame
I’m on a phone and can’t get it to be slow enough screen
same here! the struggle is real haha
A Ted video to start my Wednesday? Yes please.
Man, I am glad to see you "back in the saddle" with your air gun videos...they are a hoot! I just ordered some of those pellets, too...wicked.
Let us know if anyone accepts your offer at 0:50!
When I used to go Morning Dove hunting I would give my cats the hearts.
You’re easily the best air shooter on UA-cam, always a pleasure watching you. I’ve seen other tubers shoot badly and enjoy it, you’re an absolute professional.
always love when ted uploads..
Me too!
love the raised middle finger to company ad whiners for the 1/20th of a second break at 00:49 .. took me five times to find it, but I saw it flash and **KNEW** I had to read it in a still frame.. nicely worded !!!!
Use the < and > key when paused for frame-by-frame look
Where are you when will you post again
When I shoot them out of the kitchen window, my cats come running and cover the back yard until they find the bird.
Had no idea you started uploading again. Good to see you back!
That raccoon has clearly been eating good and knows where to get some food.
Blows my mind how good of a shot Ted Holdover is. Good shooting. And always a good lesson to be learned about invasive birds
An invasive human shooting an invasive bird. Think the invasive humans have caused more trouble to the North American bird population.
Dear Ted, we miss you, know you didn’t want this to be your full time gig but would love to see you more. One of the OG youtubers
Check my channel, Jacob. I uploaded twice in the last month. 😉
I don't know of anyone who enjoys shooting their guns as much as Ted does. Glad to see him back at it.
So glad to see your name pop up, came right here to watch.
You keep making them we ll keep watching them ... from bedroom bathroom or anywhere else!! Thank you Ted!!
The music in this video sounds like a Hallmark movie.
In some restaurants I know in the Netherlands the starlings are a seasonal delicacy. In the Betuwe, where a lot of fruits are grown, they cause an enormous amount of damage during summer.
What happened to Ted? Haven’t seen a new video in 6 months.
Great video!! Glad you're back in action.
You’re going to reincarnate as a bird feeder
I love the hades pellets they expand until they are almost completely flat out of my brothers Benjamin Trail and have amazing accuracy out of that gun and my Umarex gauntlet when that worked

I used this method on my latest video. Worked like a charm. So many starlings in Idaho. Thanks.
Now you have four good starlings out there. Be Well.
My very first PCP arrived today (Seneca Aspen I ordered months ago) - I'm blown away with the accuracy and power and it will be an excellent hunter - I even took out a house sparrow already during my outdoor session with it.
It's been almost 8 years sense I seen one of your videos. It good to you are still uploading.
"cause that's his whole world and now it's lying dead in my backyard" and "I'll hit em with the lawnmower" gave me the chills ngl😂
That same principal works really well this time of year with groundhogs/woodchucks too. ........ or at least around here it does.
We miss you.
I share your fun. When the fruit trees are about to ripen I bag about 70 blackbirds and some starlings. Also use the slug gun for rabbit shooting now, far more fun than the .22 magnum.
I’ve got one of those Pards. The daylight function is mostly useful for sighting in at a selection of ranges before going after rats.
Are you ever going to do spear fishing vids, again?

A whole new meaning to smell my finger lol
I always look forward to the spring/summer because your channel gets exponentially more awesome
dude im so glad your back
I think the real question is what is the preferred mattress for shooting prone? That is genius and hilarious at the same time.
Nice touch ending with the cat.
Great vid thanks for having the courage to show your missed shots. Shows that your human
OMG the Grinch picture floored me. Good one. :)
Agree with your decision to drop the Pard. Based on it's footage in your last video, I couldn't believe it sells for $700.
This is an amazing scope for its price. Put it on my 22lr and works flawlessly. Also super easy to sight in.
Great video Ted. Thank you buddy.
during ww2 brussels people [belgium] ate starlings. after the war it became some sort of tradition.
we [hunting family] sold our starlings to those people around christmastime.
Thanks Ted. Keep them coming.
That's his whole world right there!......dead...in my yard
Was there a channel update i missed? Where have you been?!
Ahh, a Ted video! These make my day. I have tried watching several other pesting channels but none live up to Ted. You sir have my viewership as long as you make videos. Hope you have a good day.

I appreciate your content. Looking forward to seeing you shooting more shit.
FX Impact M3 .22cal = My first PCP because you inspire me.🖖
LOVE the sweet slo mo!
"Ted's bed talk".....seems like a weird new series for you sir
Every Starling you eliminate, you save one of our songbirds. They're non-native invasive species brought over from Europe thus causeing destruction upon our songbirds.
Who hoo a new teds holdover video just made my morning!
Pretty good shooting. I have a problem with starlings in my area. They have moved out of range so I cannot shoot them. Starlings are very smart and have excellent eyesight. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome video and nice shooting Ted, I'll be clearing out my backyard of starlings this week adult's first 👍
Great video. Thanks for sharing.
Can't believe I've been watching you for 10 years! Always a relief to see you upload after a break

Amazing Ted's... We are have a same content.. 😁
I’m 65 now so I can say, brace up for more changes! 🤔😉😃👍🏻
Thanks Ted Awesome 🎯

Omg I never thought to mow up the birds. Smart!
perhaps keep the helix on it and get a 007a for night use
I wish that I could do this at my apartment complex. I have these, grackles, and English Sparrows always around my feeders.
6:36 perfect 😅
Love that little bit about the ads lmaoo love that email address, you're a legend
I just came across this video and have to say thanks. I had no idea about the color difference between adults and juvy's. I always thought they were females.
