Using Henna For A Semipermanent Nail Color | Beauty Insider

- Henna is a plant-derived dye that's been used for body art and cultural celebrations for thousands of years. It can also be used to achieve a semipermanent color on the nails. Henna paste is applied on the nails in a thick and even layer. The nail is covered and left to dry for an hour or overnight. Once dried, the henna is peeled off, revealing a reddish-orange stain on the nails. Results last until the nails grow out.

Using Henna For A Semipermanent Nail Color | Beauty Insider - Навчання та стиль
I was disappointed 😞 with the final look. Think henna looks better on the skin it's not really for nail art.
Henna helps make your nails stronger.. its more function than aesthetic..
as an indian, i can say that its definitely used for bits of nail art. traditionally, we cover the tips of our fingers with fresh henna, which is a little stronger. its really beautiful!
There's henna which is specifically made for nails. It comes out much more vibrant and beautiful.
This has been done by Indians and Pakistanis for thousands of years
and Bengalis and other south asians
Also bangladesh
And africans
basically south asians + africans.
They literally said that in the beginning of the video
Henna is also separately available in a small tube specifically for nails
Its intersting that simular things have been done for centuries in the whole world but only some types stay popular
I love the patterns but this looks like ‘heavy smokers’ 💅 fingers!
Another insensitive comment. Horrible.
@@pipp_988 it's either that or shit stained fingers tho
Henna is not just indian , it's Arab and Amazighi as well . I think in Morocco, Algeria , Tunisia and Mauritania and Sudan is more commonly used than other Arab countries ! In Morocco, it is not just used to beautify but also to ward off the evil , and I think that the name of henna is Arab and not indian because the word is from the word that means : " soft and gentle "
Not only indian but Arab also
And A LOT
Instead of henna arq is used on nails to give a darker and beautiful color not henna
Well that's indian beauty
Looks horrible but go off, do you
Ikr
Very pretty 😀
Hi
This would be fun for girls night in ❤️🔥😀
They do that before weddings. It’s called mehendi party
We don't usually use it on nails though...it doesn't look nice
This has been done in Iran for years and years.
Still ongoing
Hello dear your videos is very helpful for apply Mehndi
Using henna on your nails ain't it. It just leaves your hands looking dirty.
I wonder if this trend started in India??
No we don't use henna on nails. Only on skin
@C W that's what I thought. Idk how it would look on nails?❤️
@@CW-rx2js Indian muslims have been applying henna on nails for decades 😊
Poi ci sono io che mi tingo inavvertitamente le unghie quando coloro i capelli con l'henne e rimangono di quell'orribile colore giallo-arancione
But why do this?
Hmmm it's beautiful on the skin but doesn't look so great on the nails...maybe if you did a design on the nails 🤷♀️
Yuck - reminds me of my art teachers nails as he smoked without the filters in his cigs
Sies
But it's only the 1 color 🫤
Eww this on nails ain't it, the skin is beautiful but not dipped like that it looks like you forgot to wear gloves while dying your hair you could probably use hair dye for this same effect
Literally! Box dye would be cheaper, too 🤣
No. On nails it looks really bad...
I'm so confused. This looks horrible.
No thanks
I call the police
Naaaah. It’s good as body art but looks wrong on nails.
these comments do not pass the vibe check
Wdym?
Looks like dead rotting fingers. I'll stick to henna hair.
1:13 Horrible. Looks like frostbite.
