Would you say the Honda cr250f makes a good vet bike? All the reviews say it has a very tourquie motor. I’m leaning towards getting a Gas Gas mc 350f unfortunately the ones my dealer have come with braktec not brembro. I would hate to buy a Austrian bike and not get brembro. What’s your thoughts on that? Thanks
Hard to compare Braktec and Brembo as the Brembo units have been so solid in the past; would definitely be a hindrance for me as well on the MC 350F. Regarding CRF250R's as good Vet bikes, I'd say they're pretty solid. The slower one goes and lazier they are at turning, the better it would work. It's one of the best turning bikes in the 250F class, but it can be quick on faster (3rd/4th gear) tracks. If slower (2nd/3rd gear) and jumpier tracks are your favorite, it would be a great bike; super light and agile manners. The chassis is a little stiff natured, but there's lots of aftermarket room for improvement and suspension setup goes a long ways as well. Personally, the YZ250F is still tops in my opinion for a Vet 250F, but Honda has caught up a bit with their 2022/23' platforms. Hope this helps!
@@CasMotogood info as I’m going back and forth between Honda and Yamaha for my next bike. I really don’t like the light front end of the kx250 and its vague steering. Does the yz 250f still provide a good front tire feel and steering? I miss Hondas ergos and steering but ergos of a Yamaha worry me. I really need to get on a more stable better turning bike than my kx.
@@timberg331 Q: "still provide a good front tire feel and steering?". New 24' YZ250F provides more front end traction than ever before, and the ergos are best they've ever been for Yamaha 4T's. Nothing beats Honda ergos, but the Yamaha's have gotten much better. I particularly like the KX250 platform as a taller rider, but it's a bike that would really benefit from 22mm triple clamps, a Pro Circuit linkage assembly (knuckle and pull rod), and some detailed suspension tuning. The KX chassis, itself, is hard to beat for comfort/compliance on the west coast tracks I ride...Cheers
Last moto of the day, and it's an unfortunate reality of our sport; we all make mistakes. Just glad we were able to get him back to his pit and help in any way we could. #BeNice

2023 crf or 2022 crf?
@@calivaldivia1308 This is onboard from some 2023 laps, but both years are very similar. Get the suspension sorted and they're FUN

@@CasMoto that was very cool that you went back to help him!
Bro why do people not stop and ask if they good
We helped the gentleman back to his truck: No worries! That was actually a colleague sitting right up top and with him when I made it back
This guy isn’t shifting using his clutch lever unless he’s using a recluse
No Rekluse here!
