I understand you have the right to challenge Raveco products or any product that claims to be a 100% theft deterrent. However, you can still make a video without every detail for car thieves. Car thieves browse UA-cam daily for videos like yours to stay ahead of people's hard-earned money that goes into these devices.
How would the world know just how easy it was if not for this video? An 'Intro to Electronics 101' student could bypass this device it's that rudimentary. A thief could just as easily rip that kick panel out and follow the wires to the disabling relay & jumper it. Probably less time than what's described in the video.
I'm glad I found this, my car group has been recommending the Ravelco to stop thefts. I was watching a UA-cam video on cool car gadgets and found this device. I didn't like losing my remote start but had decided it was better than losing the car. Now when I get a new car I will be installing this. Their claim to fame was with 16 pins a thief would never figure it out. You have shown when there is a will there is a way. Thanks for the video.
There is a better way to promote your business or product then showing people how to steal people cars wtf wrong with you
Security through obscurity is not security. This should have never been released being this easy, if this is correct. While everyone is pissed at this guy and even if he has a conflict of interest, for the sake of the argument, the truth is the truth and announcing this is actually beneficial to the community. Ideally the manufacturer would have been contacted first to give them a chance to comment or fix.
Some of the more pro thiefs appear to be using ECU swap-outs to steal certain cars. Is the IGLA in any way dependent on the ECU? Would an ECU swap render the IGLA useless or would the car still be protected?
They sell lock boxes for ECU
But would IGLA work on a 07 Silverado?
Ok, BS - you have the car ON, the signal is available...let it go into sleep, then you have to have the ability to turn it on...then go through the probing. BTW, what a tool to post this in the open.
First off you should probably research what you’re talking about first. Second I do not need to have the ignition on. In the video some stuff was done on purpose to make it seem like it’s hard. But in reality it’s easier than I made it seem and there is a universal bypass method. Assuming you have this worthless device. Have a good day.
@@JonathanRodriguez-kz6sy feel free to come to my house and crack my system in 2 minutes and then I'll concede it's worthless.
Jonathan, what is the answer? help us out.
What is what answer ?
There website says 0 stolen cars over 47 years
What do you think. How about countless posts on stolen vehicles with the device installed. Point is website is bullshit
what else is there?? Are you recommending IGLA?
Yea I recommend Igla. It’s a superior product.
I recommend Ravelco
They don’t bash their competition with fake reviews like this wanna be slim shady
Shame on you for sharing all the info here. Make your point and leave some parts out. You screwed over thousands of people to sell another product. You should be ashamed
Bozo here clearly didn't watch the video, he didn't peddle another product. A lock is only as good as the door, and in this case the door is made of styrofoam. Better he let you know you've a shite product in your car than you find out later
@@garyoilfield3745 that may very well be true but you don’t need to provide info that could screw thousands of customers. Shite product or not. Just uncool
@@eagle5-aow387 do you think youtube is the be-all end-all resource of information for thieves? This guy only made customers aware of what they already discuss in niche forums. Hilarious that people are mad at this guy for demonstrating how easy the lock is to bypass, and not the manufacturer who made it that weak in the first place and claims its unbeatable
hey Slim Shady, thanks for doxing the anti theft device in my vehicle that isnt new enough to be compatible with IGLA. you're such a saint..
Slim Shady could slide out with your car though.
Takes all of 45 seconds to pull the fuel pump relay and put it in your pocket. Most thieves don't carry a spare one. Even if they make a key, if no gas gets to the engine, they'll be pushing it.
Yeah we all know that .....are you gonna be the one doing this every time you get away from the car? You would look Zzzzztupid
Homie saved me 900 bucks
Did they ever fix this issue? Someone had made a post saying ravelco apparently resolved the issue
It's not an issue. This is a biased propaganda type video. IGLA gets bypassed or fails regularly.
I spoke with Ravelco. They did indeed do an update that doesn't allow this bypass
Looks like this guy is siding with car thieves. Nice. He's going to piss off millions of customers. I wonder what IGLA is going to say about this guy.
He just shows sad truth to all ravelco's users.
Not even close to promoting theft or siding with car thief’s. What I am doing is promoting awareness. If the owner of ravelco can challenger the validity of other “Antitheft devices” why can’t I ?
Have you been able to get around the TrackHawk GPS kill switch?
Kerp in mind the installer did a horrible job. You could have put that anywhere in the car. Atleast hide it. Then that's where your problem starts
So what do you recommend
This isnt the way. Ravelco has prevented theft on my vehicle twice. You may install a superior product but thats up to the consumer to decide. Putting out videos of how to guides for criminals and dragging another company which in your view has no competition is not the way. Even if i was shopping around for a new system. This isnt the way. I would not support the product.
I understand you have a product bias and your own product to sell but brother not a single opportunistic thief en pass is going to be prepared for this. And even if they've scoped you out, if you don't have their stickers, most thieves will not come prepared when they do get in. And if they wanted your car that bad to come prepped like ocean's 11? Consider moving areas or not driving an attention seeking car.
I need Igla installed in my car
Would you help ?
How should we contact you

What is the best anti theft system ?
Get a Honda Civic, no one will touch it. Simple.
igla!
Would you say the IGLA system is better than ravleco? Can you bypass the IGLA as well ?
Igla is 100 percent better. And more advanced.
he sells and installs IGLA... he's biased.... also IGLA isnt compatible on all vehicles...
Brother, literally was going to get Ravelco. The funny part is the company was NOT getting back to me. Now I see your video and realize it’s meant to be that I avoid this system. Thank you for doing these videos.
Glad I could help. So much info is hidden from the public about this product. The price does not reflect the protection level
@@JonathanRodriguez-kz6syhid from the public?
like you try to hide your. One star reviews you’ve personally made on Ravelcos Google pages
IGLA, made in Russia. Costs $1500 plus. Four primary wires on the IGLA - power, ground, and two data lines. Cut any one of those and the IGLA is dead. I'm sure we can expect the Ravelco guys to post a nice friendly video like this on how the IGLA can be bypassed....
"ravelco guys" are so talentless incompetents they can’t even make an unboxing video of their "device".
You do know that Russians and Germans are responsible for most of the advancements in vehicle communications etc right ?
Sure if you find it😊. No road maps. Doesn’t present it self. Ravelco gives you a road map to the interface and wiring being interrupted.
Not to mention on the Trx guys been fighting a slow crank changed out batteries etc. end result ravelco removed slow crank left with it.
Ravelco should also leave him several bad fake Google reviews that are clearly him 😂
What about compstar how easily can you bypass it
Compustar when installed correctly even though it is installer friendly is much harder to bypass.
Again I state when installed correctly. If you get a lazy or new installer they won’t make changes to the install to make it harder.
Although with drone. And two way remotes it gives you a lot more notice than a ravelco can.
All the backlash as well as calls from private numbers assuming from ravelco installers etc.. Meanwhile I am proving this product is not as the company says it is.
It’s worse than I even displayed. And honestly I can bypass even faster and do not need to turn the key on at all.
If you space cadets don’t think thief’s cant figure this out. You have already lost.
I couldn't agree more. I'm an installer of IGLA devices in Australia, and I believe they're worth every cent. Nothing comes close.
Yeah… but I’ve read cases where people with IGLA start having electrical issues. What happens if your buttons stop responding? Because of all the repeated times you’ve pressed them.
No, no they are not, I am tech support for the US and have heard of one person having an issue and it was a bad IGLA, did absolutely nothing to the vehicle. You should know the facts instead of spreading rumors. Your button happens to stop… you make a new pin with the emergency pin change sequence. You can change your pin as often as you like. …
@@Pedro-2003 ive googled and have read plenty of people’s opinions and experiences with IGLA. On truck forums. How am I spreading rumors or lies if it has been their experiences… come on Pedro
@@Pedro-2003 okay…? You can change your pins I get it. But once your stuff starts wearing out you got to replace stuff eventually. Nowadays cars have bad buttons and bad connections/sensors everywhere.
@@ajr2k179 still highly unlikely. I will gladly replace a button and not a whole god damn car because it was stolen, use your damn head…
@@ajr2k179 this isn’t my main account. I am one of the bigger distributors in the US, I also do tech support and I can tell you right now you are completely wrong.
Ravelco has saved my truck twice in Houston, but I'm disappointed in the execution of this video.
1. Yes, you showed Ravelco has flaws, but a lot of [amateur] thieves aren't aware of this, but they could potentially be now...
2. You didn't propose a viable solution effectively. Yes, you mentioned IGLA. Ok, then put a link in the description to [your] other videos explaining IGLA and what vehicles are eligible or at least present a viable solution.
The question is "did this video do more harm than good?" Unfortunately, I think so.
Hello. Not sure what kind of vehicle you have but Igla can be your solution. Installers in Houston.
I am not the only person who has pointed out the nonsense ravelco has said about their product. And I just heard they are doing something else. If it was so great besides dismissing the videos why change it. A retrofit of some kind. Ok whatever I’ll bypass that too.
Glad it protected your vehicle but in Houston you got lucky. As Houston has a lot of thief’s. Both good ones and smash and grab ones. Chances are your attempts were from uneducated ones. A real thief will get past it without my help or knowledge from these videos.
At the end of the day it’s your vehicle. And you can take whatever steps to keep your vehicle. Ravelco is better than nothing. Just definitely not as good as they tout. And try to represent. 6/7 millions sold etc etc. All lies. Anyways. If you want real protection of your vehicle is supported reach out to a local Igla installer in Houston. Discuss options.

What other product do you recommend other than IGLA? IGLA price is super high.
Unfortunately I can’t recommend anything else because it is fortunately the best available. It is expensive starting at 1200. But it’s the most intuitive easy most effective way to protect most push to start and some blades key cars
The reality is bro 99% of car theives aint doing that to bypass the Ravelco. I still fell the IGLA is better but Ravelco would stop most thefts. I would keep it as a back up but u cant remote start with it which sucks.
Unfortunately they are. Punishment is so lax that they feel they have all the time in the world. It’s up to the owner of the vehicle to do something these days
@@JonathanRodriguez-kz6sy yea tru
@@TENNESSEETRACKHAWKthis dude is literally trying to steal business from Ravelco
He’s made several fake accounts just to bash them with 1 star reviews
