The long halt at Yesvantpur outer is annoying, as it happens just before reaching the destination. Trains are stopped at a deserted place, so you can't even deboard and find other means to reach the city. The same thing happens while travelling from Tumakuru to Yesvantpur on the Hubli line. The railway authorities should consider adding more platforms at Yesvantpur Junction (There are 6 currently, which is indeed less for a major railway station) If not, trains from Andhra Pradesh should be terminated at Yelahanka Junction itself. It will reduce the congestion of both the lines.

Hats off to Indian Railways for making the access to the two IT hubs much closer. But this train is not feasible for passengers (especially tourists) travelling from bangalore to hyderabad as it arrives late at night. The executive class is the better option than flights due to food services, more leg space and the scenic view. I expect this will have more patronage towards Bangalore than towards Hyderabad.
From Anantapur/Dharmavaram -- there are MEMU trains at different intervals -- so having a train is not the issue -- what capacity of the train was occupied..! Leaving at 5.30 am in Kachiguda was too early..possible 6.30-7.30 would be ideal..! End of the day, the railways sold you a break-fast and a lunch..!!
So many memories of travels from Kachiguda to Bangalore in the 60s mostly by steam. Kurnool was lunch station. Then the monkeys at Hindupur where we had to I’ll the windows down even with bars the monkeys would steal anything they found😊. Those were metre gauge days! We used to go via Guntakal. The lines now are through Gooty! Most of the stations are familiar with names I recall.
Whatever train you board its VB or Mail/Express all need to wait at yesvantpur home signal to enter, had the same experience onboard MAS YPR Express (we waited for 45mins)

90% of the time this train travels in Andhra region (Rayalseema&TS). Railway should think of another vande bharat which connect bengaluru to other areas of KA like tulunadu
it should be re scheduled and made faster ... It will attract more passengers this way . This train can cover Banglore Secunderbad distance in 7.45 hours easily
Kurnool to anantpur takes a bit more time due to slowing down at dhone and gooty as these are big junctions trains need to slow down to 30kmph in any case.
Means it can start at 6AM and arrive by 14.00. Start return by 14.40 and reach by 22.40. 5.30 is too early a time to start and it is pretty difficult to get internal transportation at 11.15PM. One more suggestion. It can start from Secunderabad at 5.30 and arrive at 11.15 pm With a five minute halt at Kacheguda.

If IR wants to make it profitable it has to be only long distance ( minimum 12hrs journey) 2tier sleeper class with no complementary food but a pantry car which is for ordered food n price shdn't be as much as flights. India still can't come out of class difference, what is the use of 1ac in Vande bharst!! It won't succeed with average 30/40% occupancy n stupid executive class with no special food/ other facilities, who the stupid want to pay 40% more for revolving chairs except You tubers or some newspaper representatives?🤔🇮🇳🚩

Instead of Yeshwantpur, SMVT was a better destination halt. Such a modern railway station is not utilised properly by the railways.
