You dont need to use the clutch up shifting. Just let off the throttle and shift. That easy. Put 30k plus miles on my R1 and 636 without any issues doing so.
The only times you really need to use the clutch on any bike is taking off and down shifting under compression. I've been doing that since the 1960's. Cars too. For years I drove a van with no synchromesh in any gear (called a "crashbox" transmission), it didn't matter if you used the clutch, the gears were probably going to grind anyway. If you used the clutch at all you usually "double clutched" it.
2013+ ABS model with big piston forks are very nice indeed. Holy Hector those boats are quick. Thoughts and Prayers for all affected by Las Vegas shooting, so so sad.
Take a 2 minute study break and check instagram to see Kat posts something new and then there goes an hour by watching the latest katfam video and old vids. Darn it kat i should be studying for my midterm thats tomorrow.
Kat I own the same R6, you don't need to roll off the throttle with the quick shift, just keep it open and shift up ;) it's much faster

Keeping the rpms way high is better on the transmission when using the quick shifter.
