Map control is the key to winning games! The enemy will often give up space on the map or there will be areas where neither team controls. In both situations, you need to take control of the space by either putting a team member there or using utility like a tripwire to get information. If you watch any VCT game or a Radiant Ranked game, you'll notice that the Professional Tier 1 Teams have most of the map covered with utility or team members. Watch this video to find out how the team who can capture the most space on the map will usually win the match! Jollz meowing FOR FREE?! Praise the lord
Wise words from the obamaprism 🧎
😐
Kirinari5273
From this video, I learned how to do quick rotations based off of the info that I get from my teams contacts and audio cues. I also learned a few more angles that I should hold and not peek. I learned that it is better to let your team take the next contact and trade them if they die after we get a kill. Never repeek angles because the enemy team knows where you are.
Love to see the higher elo content, although it would’ve been nice to see the first couple rounds of pistol to see how he got down 0-8, it’s like we fast forwarded and I was lost and wanted to know more of how his team got there, and it would’ve been insightful to see your perspective especially since it’s one is his less performing maps. Love the coaching, just wanted to see more content :)
i believe he didn't show that cuz he shows a lot of free content already and that's slowly lowering his income, we dont want poor jollz to have to find another job, i respect it
Jollz makes my favourite content on UA-cam. He's also the reason I came back to Valorant.
As someone who's never played a competitive fps before, it was pretty demoralising just getting curbstomped and not knowing why apart from 'shoot first'. Then watching Jollz explain basics in a coaching video and being able to actually somewhat play the game *chefs kiss*
So thank you Jollz, and keep doing you.
I love you jollz not because of your coaching but because of how nice you are
isa3034
in this coaching session i learnt about better angles to hold with teammates, i have tendencies to hold things that just get smoked off by myself and become useless quick. that was a really good point that i'll remember, and of course reminders about becoming overly aggressive are always nice to hear. sometimes you get too hype about your own skill and it can cost a round.
This is by far the most useful coaching session I have watched, tips that you in custom were very helpful
That dirt house and jollz voice from inside. Priceless 🤣
sponge ; i learned there are right times to be passive vs. aggressive. i usually play jett or kj and the explanation w/ defending on B helped A TON bc i always play back on elbow. i will try doubling up on long or hookah w my teammate. thank you jollz! :D
Kazu
I learnt a lot about how important it is to focus on the habits/play style of the enemy team. I also learned some angles to hold and what are good areas are good to hold, and also how smokes can make where you are useless.
I struggle with map awareness and timing for rotations, it would be really helpful with some input on what I am doing wrong and even other things I can improve with. thanks :)
mans fighting for his life while jollz be talkin bout some random girl
Has anyone noticed that Jollztv gives a very big Andy Biersack vibe! love it!
Wow this has helped me a lot! I been getting those games where I feel like I can’t do anything right
Flap0684
I learned from this video to look for the enemies habits and to play off them rather that be a call to rotate or to stack a site. I learned that the A short peak is bad because there are multiple angles you can be traded from, something useful to me as I tend to peak this angle often on Bind.
I actually agree with this guy, I really hated fracture when I started playing but its my favorite now. Its the best map to lurk on for a pick and fast executes are fun
Beni9501
the part about playing with a teammate in a choke was interesting, i always thought you should put a player in every choke to have a higher chance but this actually makes sense, having almost a 100% control of one place is better than having less than 50% control of two places
Jollus9582
I only play sova, I learnt how to defend sites better and what angles to hold and what not to hold. I never thought about having both holding one choke instead of splitting. that's a really good point
Jo Jollz i'm Dia 2 and i have a 60hz monitor, should i upgrade and if so, 144 or 240hz? ty
FlyRighteous (bronze 1)
i realzied that peaking A main is usually not the move bind is my worst map, i tend to never push with my team as i saw in this video i understand crosshair placement but i tend to always want to “lurk” to make a play but end up pissing the bed, good video love the tips
from this video i learned to love jollz ....yeah and thats the main issue
WarpSonic7465
I learned a lot in this video about playing together on defense to have a lot of control of one position rather than a weak hold everywhere. I also learned how to be more flexible on offense. I can relate to this player because I struggle a lot on bind as well, so this video was super useful.
SkyPanda
I learned how to keep map control by playing off teammates, when being pushed by the enemy
shark6764
i learned that control on defense side is important and rather than trying to take control of two choke points on a spilt push (when down numbers) to take one choke point and wait for your rotating teammates to then start the retake to make things easier.
slatepaws2836
i've learnt that playing with your teammates is as crucial as anything else, and that rotations are very important if you can keep track of the map control and enemy positions happening around
dextrite0001 , learnt that its good to stay with my team rather than peeking a dangerous angle alone, with 2 people if you die the other can trade and vice versa. also not to repeek because they may be holding that angle with a perfect shot on your head if you show that you're still there. its also good to switch up what site you go to, what angles you hold each round etc. because the enemy team will grab onto that info and guess where you might be, but its good if you can do that to the enemy team, if one guy keeps flanking then hold flank waiting for them.
shiba 2065
I'm a Reyna main, but I learned a lot about Jett, team play, and a lot more. Thanks again!
DaBigBadPapi3052 I learned to play more off of your team, along with don't peek that angle from U-Haul on bind 😂😂
Another morning drop, love u jollz🥰
BigSusG 5110
On thing I learned is to understand the enemy team you playing. If they are hard rushing you on defense, just quickly rotate after making noise on that site. If they play deep in the site and are easily pushed off rush the sight and take as much space as you can. To come back to the point is to understand your enemy and adapt to their play style to make sure you win. Another point is if you know multiple enemies are coming up don't peak them play the off angle where you only get peaked by one or Line up. Also when up players always play with your team and also play together on the site rather than holding multiple chokes.
Awesome I often play without a plan
Coolshooter237, i learned to reposition after kills and not overheat after getting kill... Play with the team mates and let them clear... Predicting enemy movements and teaming up to trade
TacticalBear
I learned that I shouldn't be overheating and peaking angles I shouldn't.
Somehow I've actually learned the most from Jollz
teacher jett gonna make me act up
ong
Crunchy4831
I also struggle with bind. I never feel like I’m in a great position or know where to reposition. Seeing how you can read the other team and not make bad peaks was really informative
sushi7537 main lesson I learned is to not overheat and rush in without teammates to play off of
rya2773
I learned about playing around and punishing how the enemies play. Thank you Jollz :)
Actual Factual Genious7314 I learned that on defense its better to hold angles and dash away, rather than peak it even though I don't necessarily need too. I am sure I will win more gunfights by implementing this. Thank you for the UA-cam coaching content as I have actually learned quite a lot through these type of videos.
lorewar. I learned about how to punish habits of the enemies and about how to counter quick rotating. You could play with 2 people holding a choke rather than 2 on site or one per choke. Don’t peek a main on bind and you can play with someone who is in u-hall.
Dicker Otter7904
Doubling down to defend one spot on defense is something I never thought about. I usually end up giving up way too much control for free and just play retake because I don't want to get overwhelmed and die for nothing. I will try that out, thanks Jollz!
Chip0420 Main thing I learned is playing with teammates whenever it’s possible, and learning what the enemy habits are and using that into your own gameplay. Also learning to not do the same thing over and over so the enemy can’t tell what ur own habits are, if you do the same thing or hold the same angles the enemy is likely to abuse that fact and use it against you even though it wasn’t said that’s something I thought of.
DragZ9935
I learned how to know when to rotate and what cues I should rotate off. I also learned some angles on how I had to hold them and not to get over aggressive after I got my initial kill.
LurkonYT2303
From this video I learned to play off my teammates more and read the enemies more carefully to win more rounds. Thank you for teachings as always and best of luck to me if I get chosen.
Toggel3084 I learned that double stacking and not giving enemies too much space is very important
Vepsu 6987 I learned a lots pf small things that can help me improve. Like switching position after kills and to let ur tm8s take first contact to the next enemy. Also few angles that are quite risky to peek and not to repeek angles on a small timeline.
I always heard his cat when we were in discord 😂
notn1ch3005
love learning from your content. I'm gonna try playing with my team mates more intstead of double peeking angles or dry peaking angles.
these videos are super helpful and the sheer amount of them coming out is crazy, i watch every single one of them lmao
every time i watch them it drills into my head to NOT REPEEK the SAME ANGLE, i do that wayy too much
anyway thanks for the amazing content jollz
Im Phluffi2323 and I learned a lot about adaptation and making adjustments mid-match
R4G3_XNG 0302
I learned that on bind, if the enemy team is picking a fight through TP, instead of fighting, just regroup and take site because it’ll be hard for them to get back to site since they’re suck on TP. Also holding down hookah or long and getting picks from them and just holding off until your team supports you, makes it easier to retake because enemy team will have a harder time defending site.
Love the content
I love the story time
PlutoZombie 4506. From this video I learnt that should play the game better. I am top 0.1% in flicking on 3d aim trainer and top 0.6% overall, but I'm stuck in bronze 3 so clearly I am making some pretty dumb decisions in my games. I think I mostly struggle with consistency because sometimes I pop off but most of the time I will just play really bad. I also think that having "0.1%" in a title / thumbnail will make people want to watch the video :)
The best tutor ♥️🔥🔥🙌
Jollz.... That thumbnail kinda sus...
The worst feeling is when u got the perfect flank and can kill 3 ppl yet u die without killing any1
Crazycat96 35 (no space between numbers)
1. Don’t be the only one that is getting contact to the enemy. You need to let your team help you instead of treating it like a 1v5 so that you can stay alive for longer.
2. If you have numbers stay together so you don’t get picked off one by one like in a horror movie.
3. You don’t have to fight the defenders when they want to fight you fight them when you are ready and you want to fight.
4. If you have two people on site watch one entrance together instead of each watching one so you have a better chance at killing the people at the entrance you are watching and then your team rotates and it's a 4v2 or a 4v3 instead of you each watching one angel and you both get overwhelmed.
5. Try and see what patterns the enemy is doing and what they are doing every round so that you can exploit and get free kills.
Lapun 1176 i learned i should get a cat for emotional support
Day 2 of asking Jollz to make an economy guide
Noctylus2659 i learned that its better to double up in one lane rather than try to defend all lanes at the same time.
the thumbnail got me bricked up fr fr

jollz moment
Litchy2001
Learned about heat management
Even tho I'm not creating content I still go for clips which is absolutely idiotic and a bad habit.
G00SEB0I 7002
Me no good, me play, me die, me repeat, me want to get gud, me want to be pro gamer.
KmartSecurity41 1209, I look forward to these videos every time they drop. I constantly take in more helpful information but I am still hard stuck plat 1. I believe a big chunk of it is only solo queuing but I would love to have eyes over my gameplay to see what I’m truly failing at.
Afro7404
Hey Jollz, I have been watching you vids for a month now and I have learned a lot from your coaching sessions I would like to be coached because I want to be a better player and initiator.
obi 7282 the meowing from jollz really helped me pop off and play well. Hopefully jollz can meow for me more while coaching me live!
ENNA BIRB9834
I've always had bad timing and my game sense isnt great so this video helped ouut a lot in showing me when I need to move or rotate and what situations should i put myself in.
Content banging as always, pog.
I know that guy!
Mickel6535
i learned that you should try to play with your teammates on site, you will have a better chance off hold site and winning when youre playing with your teammates
fatduck 7710 and I learned about how to not peek that angle in bind I do it all the time and hopefully it can help me not die in the start of the round all the time.
playing around your teammates is something not enough people actually understand. If you understand how to play 1st and 2nd contact, you'll climb.
is this a repost
Kalael9068 um I learned that playing super aggressive on a choke by yourself isnt optimal always ask for a team mate to help unless you have to push a choke by yourself
DragoonRidaz 3426
I learned to play for control on defense and not to take every fight on offense, sometimes it's better to rotate and take the free site.
Anneloes7655 I usually divide us over different choke points and we’re all dying one by one. This video showed me another option which I think is really gonna help our defensive site.
Musahh9559
Ever since I've been watching you, I am more smarter and pro aimer. Please enlighten me with gamesense so I can be radiant like you

Baguette5312 I want to get to higher ranks and carry my teammates
