They are both on my wishlist! I’ll wait until I have the opportunity to read them because I haven’t read a single book by Pratchet and I’m not sure I’ll enjoy his style... Those copies are gorgeous!
I would suggest avoiding going into the discworld series chronologically, there are several "series" within the whole and the first books of those are usually good starting points, e.g. Guards, Guards for the City Watch Series, or Mort here for Death. When I first went into it with the very first book The Colour of Magic I didn't really like it, it's a bit out there. Only some time later I picked up Going Postal (which is also a pretty good starter imo) and then read anything Pratchett I could. :) Of course it all depends on personal taste, there are entire charts and discussions about this, haha. But yeah, beautiful books, I really hope the Folio Society might at some point make more after all.
Thank you! :) I have pretty good motivation to pick up Mort again now, so maybe it is even better at a second read than I remember. Personally I am just really partial to the books of the Witch series and the Moist von Lipwig books (because I started with Going Postal, so there's some attachement there, haha) Though it is hard to pinpoint favorites, there are so many candidates. :D
Lovely video Laura! We're so pleased you are enjoying these editions :)
Thank you, I really do love your books! :)
only 2? Why wouldn't they make the whole collection 😭😭😭 They look so beautiful!
Very nice reviews!

I really liked your review, you talk with such passion about Terry Pratchett :)
Love these two books (and lucky for me, Mort actually is one of my favourites) - great overview 👍
