The speedtape shows when you can extend flaps with those yellow/orange bands. No need to guess. You put out speedbrakes on approach when you were below flap extension speeds already.
Yes it's getting better. After seeing hundreds of derogatory comments, of course I bought it and surprisingly I came to the conclusion that the vast majority of these comments are made by the usual ones. It's 1000 times better than 2020. I have the gamish part and the zombie dolls all turned off, I only have the simulation part as I always have. I take 4-5 hour flights, completely stable and enjoying a completely different experience. At the moment I have the 2 simulators installed, but by the end of the week I will format the PC and install just the 2024. Merry Christmas everyone.

MSFS2024 is going to be fantastic... once it's out of Pre Alpha! Seriously this was a rushed launched and is typical of modern day AAA gaming unfortunately. Rush out an unfinished product and update it as you go and let your player base do the Alpha and Beta testing. I thought 2020 released in a bad state, but this is much worse. It will be fantastic at some point, but that looks to be at least a year away. When that happens I'll go over full time Thanks Q!
@ I don’t need to watch him. I have both and I see Fenix not moving with thrust not being pushed and kept forward. I see Toliss “rolling” and easy to control. Like it should be.
@@majoraviatior1611 and it’s not about “Fenix” but MSFS in general, ground friction is poorly modeled or not modeled at all. Every plane behaves like this.
My biggest issue with the new sim is the constant ctd. I can handle the ground textures not always loading because that’s fixable but the ctd’s make it unplayable. I’ve had a ctd at the end of a n 8+ hour flight and nothing has made me hate the game more. It’s infuriating to be quite honest and it happens all the time. It needs fixing. I see the potential however, and I’m hopeful that the game can be fixed with time.
@ I only have KMIA scenery, but it’s 2024 compatible. I had consistently had ctd when selecting my aircraft, but I figured a way around that, and most recently, a few hours ago my landing into LEMD caused a ctd just as I armed the localizer.
I made a good dozen of 4 hour flights and never had a ctd. Use only 2024 native add ons. Maybe you need to reinstall it, because probably the issue is on your part

Just finished. Flight from Austin to Dallas Fort Worth with the atc stuck in a loop. Switched back to 2020 no problems! Give them time.

Ground friction at its best. 2 seconds and your speed is above 10 in the turn… no comment. Can’t compare to Toliss.

That’s strange, I haven’t had any CTD whatsoever. Do you have add ons in your community folder?
