- The firefighters and the paramedics of Firehouse 51 deal with a 25-story apartment fire that creates chaos for everyone involved in saving lives.

Detective Jay Halstead’s father is one of the victims trapped inside. Meanwhile, the new Assistant Deputy Commissioner keeps his eye on Boden. Casey and Brett continue to deal with Dawson’s departure and Brett gets a special gift that helps her cope. Foster opens up about her past. One of the firefighters gets into trouble while trying to save another firefighter. Severide makes a daring rescue of a small boy from the upper floors.

I also love how in these episodes we saw that Jay and his father are very much alike - both stubborn, but heroes with a heart of gold, ready to sacrifice for others, hiding their emotions inside. Pat Halstead got stuck upstairs in this burning building trying to help a neighbor in a wheelchair, and as a result he would later die.

Jay is my favourite One Chicago character and has been ever since he first came into Chicago Fire.
Nix Burkett I honestly loved him and gabby together
He is my favourite character as well, also from the start. And I also loved Jay and Gabby together @Layla Jonas. I think they were actually perfect for each other and most compatible, much more than Gabby / Casey and Jay / Erin. Because both - Gabby and Jay - are stubborn and at the same time have a big heart and always want to help other people, which unfortunately, sometimes ends badly, because they get too involved. But that's why they were so alike, thought alike, and fit together perfectly. Not to mention Jay and Antonio had been best friends for a long time, even before Chicago P.D. started, so the three of them could have been one big happy family. It is a pity that the writers didn't go all the way in this direction.

I love this episode, especially when you see all of them and all those ambo's and police cars driving towards the fire. One of my top 3 fave scenes of all seasons

My fav couple is Stellaride...Hope the writers of the programme keep Kelly and Stella together throughout the whole show. Its one of the main reason's why I keep watching this show, but not the only reason.
If Kelly and Stella break up for good on this show, because the writers wrote the script this way, I will definitely stop watching it.
Kelly and Stella's Chemistry etc adds alot of interested spice to this show.
