It`s an expansive machine, the maintenace ensures it will last you a long time, well done Kevin. Last year I completely broke down my 2 stage snow blower, hit every grease fitting, cleaned and greased the shearpins, I bought the cold weather lithium grease and took the wheels off, and wire brushed and greased the shafts, because I heard with the wet enviroment, the wheels can seize to the shaft, and then you have all kinds of problems. This fall the wheels came right off, and I regreased everything, it`s running like a top, have a great New Year to you and Julie.

If you don't do the maintence on them it will cost a lot more in the long run when something happens to it, thanks for watching and have a Happy New Year Joe.

You make it interesting, even for people like me who don't own any of that equipment. May you and Julie, and all your family have a great New Year.

8:04 A simple 5 minute hand blower to the top of that deck AFTER each cutting would keep that from building up, and if you use all day blow it off when taking a brake

With that quality of maintenance that deck should last a long time.

14:11 IF ya do that OUTSIDE then you DON'T have to do double cleanup & all that dirt isn't blown around IN your shop

Great video, but one thing i also do to the blades is balance them. I maintain two commercial 3 blade Snappers and a John Deere riding mower. I used to use a nail after I cleaned them, then I found the Oregon Blade balancer. Works the same as my old Snap-On tire balancer. I notice there is not as much vibration in the deck when the blades are engaged.

You didn’t grease the wheels on the mowing deck, each wheel has a grease fitting
