- Here is a explanation on how to streamline your stage cylinders or deco cylinders on backmounted system or Rebreather. I hope that this information will be help full to you and if you have any questions please feel free to ask.
The Trim and the streamline improves dramatically and you will see how easy it is to move in the water and how fast you can go. The total cost of the modification is only around 6 Euros!
good pointers, multi stage tanks are a pain, but this DID make it easier,Thanks
hi Tom! thank you very much for sharing this.. im not yet into multiple tanks but at least i have now some ideas, just in case soon.. be safe always!
Thanks Treborice, wish yiou great dives and loads of fun underwater
Awesome. But why not using the leash at the harness directly instead the D-rings at the bottles? Anyway thanks for sharing!
What size bungee are you using? This setup looks perfect!
I'm going to try this for when I sling my AL40 pony tank. Great Video btw.
Tom, well done.
Looks great but what about if you have more than 2 stage tanks for deeper dives?
Thanks Tom,good tips!
little windy but the video is worth watching.
Tom, Great Idea. Thanks
Tom, a question if i may? Does the bungee on the belt slide back up when you move it around your waist?
Thanks
i dont understand if while diving the stage is still cliped on the chest dring or it use only the bungee
Luca Angiolini I'd do both, the bungee retains the cylinder underwater and the clip provides good support on land and if the bungee fails.
I did my best....it was windy that day.... :-)
What is the thickness of the bungee?
its a 6 mm
@@TomSteiner Thank you
Perfect
Thats the first version there is a new one please have a look
You need to have a 25-26 cm bungee to do that. Cheers
Sorry, I meant "What THICKNESS is that bungee?"
that looks like a sidemount profile with back mount doubles
Its a 8 mm, but 6 mm is also fine :-)
Its dont see what my mother has to do with that!
its a real shame that your mother wouldn't allow you to bring your gear in the house ....
the heavy wind drowned you out in the video.
if you would have video taped the demo inside your mother's house or garage.....
everyone would be able to hear you talking in the video , instead your voice was drowned out by the heavy wind .
