*100% best **Generater.Systems** I have used. A test for hurricane prep here in Louisiana: three AC units, 5000, 5000 & 8000, 3 fridges, 2 device power setups, 4 flat screens....AND I had 40% of the power meter to spare.*
A 20 pound tank can last up to 18 hours if you’re running an eco-mode and using around 25% on a dual fuel generator
You are very good at your presentations. You earned a subscription to all, and a like. If I decide to buy this generator, I will go thru you if you are set up for a percentage.
Thanks David I appreciate that.
You can buy it from my website
Thanks
I was between the Genmax and the WEN 56203i. It too claims a light weight of 39 pds. I went with the Genmax due to having a fuel shut off switch. The WEN did have a 12V DC Socket over the Genmax which it did not. I did not see any other notable differences between the two. They both seem to have a single cylinder copycat Chinese 78 CC small engine. I think those little engines are reliable enough for the average user. Can't ask too much for 1/4th of the price of a Honda equivalent.
Hey, you got your workout for the day! And your lawn looks nice. too. Thanks.
I'm always jealous of his lawn. I think he needs to tell us his secret.
sweet. nice little generator.
Gavin, Thanks for ANOTHER top notch video. We've chatted before about Generators having a switch to allow the Carb to empty, so I'm impressed.!
So do you know how long has GENMAX been in business and where is it made and any Warranty or Customer Service info.? Thanks again 🤙
I will answer all in the Genmax Generators lineup video
@@GeneratorReviews ...found the answers and was kinda impressed by the length of the warranty. And over all cost with discount(s)... Nice 🤙
@@GeneratorReviews is it pure sine wave if i use an extention cord and power strip to plug my electronics in
@@dant2020 yes, it is pure sine wave.
Just curious how loud is your back yard with no generator running?
Also I'm seriously jealous of your generator collection.
Thanks 😊
My backyard is right at 35 -40dB
@@GeneratorReviews thanks, i was just curious, sometimes i think my back yard is really quiet and i don't have a decibel meter.
I just bought one on yesterday, how often you change the oil?
Hello. I live in Cuba and I'm watching your videos. They are very good. We just bought a generator of this model because in my country there is a terrible situation with energy. My question is if it is possible to connect a refrigerator or a fridge to this device? And how many devices can be connected to it? Thank you very much. I am looking forward to your response.
Hi Claudia
Thanks for watching my videos. I appreciate it. Yes you can run a refrigerator. You can run one refrigerator at a time and probably some lights You can also charge USB devices at the same time.
@@GeneratorReviews Thanks 🥰
Great video 5⭐️
Gavin I’ve watched both of your vids on this unit and I believe it’s the one I want to go with this time. My problem (which I had over many years with a Wen and Generac unit) is trying to locate a possible service centers for parts and or warranty work. I have scoured the internet but can’t find anything in the way of info, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
It’s a really nice well-built generator. Here’s a link to their website so you can check it out

Thanks for the great review.
Awesome I like 👍 👌
Perfect 👍🏾
Did you purchase all them generators? 😮😮😮
No I get sponsored by the dealers
Do you have a review on Pulsar PGD16ISCO Ultra Light Quiet 1600W Portable Gas Inverter Generator???
Not yet I will look into that one
Hello sir, I was wondering if a Genmax 1200 would be able to power my polisher and sander?
I think you should stick to at least a 2000 W for that set up
@@GeneratorReviews I’m only restoring Headlights
Galvin does the 2000i already have the spark plug installed? Mine came with a spark plug in a plastic bag.
Do usually come with the spark plug installed
@@GeneratorReviews Thank you sooo much. I didn’t expect a reply so quick.
Another question: I just added oil for first time and it only took about 5 ounces instead of the 0.1 gal (12.8 ounces) the manual instructed. I kept checking the dipstick and adding the rest would have been too much?
👍👍👍
how long does a full tank last?
At 25% you should get at least 10 hours
I'm having a problem with my GM2000i generator making a popping in the exhaust sound with on ECO mode. Does your GM2000i do it too?
Sounds like you have carburetor issues probably dirty jets did you happen to store it with gas in the carburetor?
the generator is brand new. I striped it down to check valve lash and the valve lash is good. I was think maybe the exhaust valve wasn't sitting well allowing gases to pass into the muffler too early.@@GeneratorReviews
does oil come with it?
I believe the smaller units did come with oil
Ihave a brand new 2000 and put 12 oz of oil in it and its almost coming out of the unit. How much oil does this thing take?.It says 13 oz but the dipstick is useless cause I cant get a good reading due to the fact thats its almost coming out of the fill hole.
You’re putting the right amount of oil and it’s at the right level it has To be to the top of the last thread.
@@GeneratorReviews Ok but the manusl seems to say something differant from the video s on youtube.
You never said how much oil to use 🤦
Can you store generator inside house?
I would just store it in the garage or the shed
Is Genmax a good brand?
Genmax is a great brand. They are the manufacturer of most popular brands generator, this is their brand.
Just got mine today..genmax 2000i...it wont start up..checked the sparkplug no spark...basically spent money on a bad generator...really disapointed
Sometimes these Generators are dropped in shipping and something gets disconnected. Contact genmax they will send you a replacement
Which one is the quietest ????
I think the Champion Genmax Honda Wen and Predator are about the same in db
Hi Gavin, just watched your review of the GenMax 2000i inverter generator and I'm a little stumped. On you box it says 1800 running watts, but in your description of the video, it says 1600 running watts. I just purchased one through Amazon and the "1800" is gone from the outside of my box and in the manual that came with it, the specs, like your text intro, showed 1600 running watts. Any idea of what changed here. Seems unusual that the specs would change for the same brand and model. Is the 1600 older product and the newer was upgraded to 1600 running watts. Would be interested to hear your take. Thx.
The difference between those numbers are the 2200 w inverter generator and the 2000 W inverter generator
Why didn’t you contact me before you bought it from Amazon? You could’ve got it from me. I would’ve clarified that for you.
Hi Again Gavin, not sure I understand your recent reply to my message--unless. If you look at the box that starts your video on the GenMax 2000i you'll see it says "Max Power 1800 watts" which I understood to be "running watts"--maybe that's not what it meant, but why would you call something a 2000 watt generator if it's really an 1800 "max" watt generator with just a 1600 watt running power. For my purposes the difference is really inconsequential. i bought the generator to charge my Anker 757 Power Station. The idea being to run the generator during day to charge the Anker (so as not to disturb people during the evening) so I have quiet power at night (and I only need 1250 watts of power to do that). And too, am new to the generator world and youtube reviews. Didn't have a clue you sold these or got credit for purchases. Maybe that should be a part of your intro. If it is, sorry I missed it. PS, I also have a Predator 3500 for power to my 14x20 shed when I need it. Cheers, Tom (the video I was watching) ua-cam.com/video/KJKReJvjv-I/v-deo.html
If mine produced electricity, I’m sure it would be a decent generator. Should of bought a Honda
I added oil for the first time on my new 2000i and it only took about 5 ounces. I thought I would need 12.8 ounces. Is that correct?? I’m worry it may not be enough, but if I add more I would be adding to much according to the dipstick marking. Did anybody experience this????
As long as you don’t over fill it you’ll be fine the oil should be touching the top of the oil fill
@@GeneratorReviews Thank you!
It sucks that after I went on line to buy this generator, no place I checked will ship it to California because it is not CARB compliant.
Sorry buddy
California sucks
We'll it's comufornia. People still keep voting for Democrats
