Who the heck is the video director of this event? Why not show more the actual shooting than their faces? What's is there to see in their faces except sunglasses and stone like expression?
As others have commented on this channel’s coverage, absolutely terrible video work. Why don’t you video from behind each competitor (above and away of course) so you can see the bird and the shooter tracking and hitting or missing? This seems so obvious, but I guess not.
Watched both this and the men's finals today, love the commentator! He reminds me of watching EPL, it goes a long way to keeping the broadcast entertaining.
I can't find shot, primers, or powder for love or money to reload my 16ga hulls. Are professional shooters having any trouble laying hands on reloading supplies?
Keep the camera on the shooter and targets for god sake, what's the point of it being on if you don't show us, and the var too, it's very poor camera work 🤔😡😡
...wondering why so many shooters swing on a target, visibly stop the gun as/after the shot and then then begin swinging again through empty air after the shot?? Do they think that the never stopped swinging through the target or is the continued swing their idea of a "follow through" ??(shooter #5 a prime example). Re-starting a swing that has stopped does absolutely nothing for the shot!!
I think it's more about "feeling the swing through" if I just stop after pulling the trigger, mentally and muscle memory will kick in and I am stuck in a jerky motion. It is hard to explain, you really have to train for Olympic trap, it is very very difficult.
dear Fabio the suggestions are always useful, especially with demonstrations on how to improve the productions, I will get inspiration from your videos. with regard Leonardo De Mai
That bloody commentator! Has to talk about misses every time it gets to Kirsty H to shoot. Not that I’m superstitious or anything but she immediately then misses. 🤣
Funny that the commentator thought Perilli's "Ha" was unusual. That's the normal call out here in California. Only people that call "Pull" out here are the rookies. Can't wait to see this during the Olympics!!
@pauleck4913 - ??? The first time I ever shot any kind of firearm was at the International Trap and Skeet Range, El Monte California, when I was 14 years of age. Stevens 20-gauge pump-action. I broke 13 out of 25 birds and we ALL said: "Pull". I still say "Pull" at now I'm in my later 60's. {What in the world does "Ha" mean?} "Pull" means the kid that had the string on the box/cage with the pigeon inside, pulled the string and the pigeon flew up & away.
Can't believe there allowing Ms. Smith to shoot without Eye protection.. One of the first things were taught in shooting sports!!! Hearing and Eye protection!! WTF!
ISSF mandates eye protection in other competitions like .22 lr pistol shooting, but in trap and skeet they just recommend it. Probably because the chances of anything flying into your eyes from a high-end double barreled shotgun are really low. I mean, it's about as closed as it can be, it's not a semi-auto with moving parts and stuff flying out the side.
Lisin must be removed from ISSF, it is not acceptable to have a Russian Oligarch in charge of a international sporting organisation whilst Russia is invading another country. If he had any self respect he would stand down. Shame on you ISSF for not acting sooner!

Apparently some people don’t understand how good this filming actually is. Good job being negative dude!
The first thing popped into my mind after watching Tokyo 2020 trap shooting coverage.

Sadly I did not like the commentator.
Too much gibber-jabber / yackatey yack noise. I put the audio on "mute".
Match starts at 6:50
Loved it! Congratulations to all and especially to Perazzi! Wow! Did they dominate or what??!!
Please put their names and country on the screen when introduced. Thanks

If I had to guess, I'd say that they're probably being supplied directly from the manufacturer.
Reloading shotgun cartridges isn’t a thing in Europe. In the UK you’re not allowed to use home loads in competition

Why doesn’t smith have Eye protection?
Beretta name everywhere on all the banners and advertising. But all the guns Perazzi.
No. Look again
!! why only Italian gun,
Where is the trap house? So confused.
Camera man needs to do better.
Well done Kirsty 👏🏻 🥇 🎉
Poor camera work on the pick up of the targets , plus no need for the annoying music.

Simulating they are able to shoot a second shot. Thats it.

minha torcida para a R. Bassil
Bassil,s approach is perfect pure concentration steady under pressure a panther on the hunt,
I can’t see MOST of it. Content director should be tarred and feathered. Useless footage

Many if the upper level trap shooters do not use glasses. Its really not that uncommon, and the likely hood of anything going wrong is pretty low.
My local club enforces hearing protection, but glasses are optional. fwiw
