Hahaha. Thats all really really felix. He has a crazy range. Like he can go high and he can go deep and of course he can go middle range. That is why the members always say they’re jealous of felix’s voice.
You listened a lot of Skz songs already, but we all know in fandom that Felix has an insane range. On their debut days on their survival show Felix reveals that he is not only deep voice. You can watch old video "felix's duality of voice", you would be surprised
But of course a lot of skz members has an amazing middle range voices, so Felix uses his low register, he is famous because of it. But in "Cover me" or "Love stay" you can listen his soft voice
i'm definitely more intrigued by felix's voice more now as if i wasnt already so i'll definitely check that out
Before I became a Felix-biased stay I also thought that it was Bang Chan singing because of the slight Australian accent especially on the higher range. But then I listened to Felix’s untampered covers of “Only” and “Love me like that” and finally understood the whole magnificence of him!
But Felix is Australian, lol. Or you were just confused because it's so high lol.

I love that quite a lot of their earlier stuff is "cute" as you say. Yes Airplane, Question (I just love this one, so flipping cute), and Awkward Silence are all fun videos/songs

It certainly is all Felix, they all released a single for the SKZ Replay album. There are quite a few songs that now show Felix’s singing voice, as he becomes more confident with his vocals. He even mentioned on Bubble,he has another song, which genre is in between Deep End and Rev It Up (those who know, know🥵❤️🔥) which is ready to go, but is waiting for the right time to release it.
May I suggest listening to FNF, Youtiful, There and #LoveSTAY to start with,because he sings beautifully on all of these songs, even though way too briefly.

I'm late to this reaction, so I'm sure you know by now that YES, those voices were ALL FELIX. Even the layered vocals.

There are very very very few SKZ songs that aren't 3Racha creations. And even when they have help finishing up production, Chan still typically helps all the way to the final arrangements.
I really recommend watching a guide to straykids, the 2024 one by chandora's world (the long one) is imo the best one
FnF is another one where Felix shows off his mid range vocals plus he co wrote it with Bang Chan about the Australian bush fires, but for something similar to Get Cool definitely try out Awkward Silence
Also the street versions of Boxer and Question are quite funny

Hahaha everyone always gets so confused by Deep End. Yes, it's 100% Felix. He wrote it and helped produce it. It's one of the very few songs 3Racha was not involved in.
A couple songs he uses his middle range in... Youtiful and Cover Me

I heard Cover Me before and thought felix was just completely absent in that song until i checked out the lyrics video
@compactrhythm the lyric videos aren't always right (for example: in Taste, Felix does the last Falsetto, but Lee Know is highlighted instead), but the one for cover me is accurate. It opens on Felix's mid range.
