Yo-kai Watch 2 was pretty annoying at times, but when Psychic Specters came out I got addicted as a kid and grinded a ton. When you get to the post game of 2 it is pretty good as he said. Since it is hard at times it feels more fun at least for me.
The stone thing in the sisters bosses is kinda like Dr. Maddiman. You gotta pin something that you’re not told. It’s just a gimmick from the first game. You gotta be crafty and think outside the box. Also, the key quests are kinda just story segments they let you do in your own order.
I spent half an hour in Kim and gin slowly taking down their health until I could use mermaids soultimate to finish them at the same time bc I didn’t realise you could pin the stones
Honestly Yo-kai watch 2 is my favorite one in the franchise, while I dont agree with everything, you have some good points that I so agree with, (Dame Demona's fight was veey annoying).
The key quests really aren’t as bad as you say they are, there’s a good amount of things you do before having to do them and they’re not really as boring as you say they are either. You don’t even have to take the train all the way to San Fantastico and back either, Mirapo exists, something you didn’t even mention in the video. One last thing, the reason you struggled with Kin and Gin was because of your bad team. You had Jibanyan on your team but called it a bad boss because you didn’t know to poke the stone. “How was I supposed to know that” I’d probably figure out their weakness without taking a whole week. Nvm about the team thing actually it was pretty decent
What you said about the key quests is completely subjective. While there were some good uses for them such as being used as a substitute for tutorials in some cases, a lot of other times they’re not, such as when the key quests you do to progress end up being completely irrelevant to the story. Even when they are relevant they feel like padding such as Master Nyada’s trials at the end of the game, which easily could’ve been cut down to a fight or two. As for the train, yes, you do have to take it to San Fantastico, not back, but to. It’s only one trip because once you get there you can activate the Mirapo and never have to ride the train there again, but that’s still one tedious trip there, my point still stands. Also I like how you call my team bad when you literally have no idea what it even is, the footage I used in the video isn’t mine. I used Jibanyan, that’s all of the details I gave, and he’s honestly pretty decent at that point. The only reason I struggled with the fight at first was because of the stone. You say that you’d figure out their weakness in a week which is honestly funny considering that’s how long it took me to beat the boss, but don’t you realize how ridiculous that sounds? Spending a week on a single boss, not because of bad team composition or strategies, but because of an unclear design choice? In fact this was actually quite a big issue with a lot of people, so much so that they mitigated it in Psychic Specters by having the camera zoom in on the time stone, giving it more attention. It makes me regret praising Dr. Maddiman’s fight for the hearts in the background, because while I caught onto them quickly, I noticed a lot of other people didn’t, not because they’re clueless, but because of how unclear it was. Funny how they made a similar mistake in the sequel, a game that’s supposed to improve on its predecessor. Also as for your other comments “Didn’t know Pokemon created the two different versions of one game here” Never said that, I just think it’s stupid to have two versions of one game for the sequel when the previous game only had one. I don’t get what point you were trying to make here. “Dame Demona is only terrible if you don’t know how to teambuild” I think everyone commenting about Dame Demona doesn’t dislike her because she’s difficult, they dislike her because she’s poorly designed and boring. A boss that randomly steals your turns isn’t a good boss, it’s bad design. On my second playthrough I beat her on my first try with little issue, but it was a slow and boring fight where I had the speed up option turned on for half of it. Git gud doesn’t apply here and I wish you’d understand when something legitimately has terrible design instead of rudely replying to my viewers saying they’re bad at the game. There are plenty of problems with the video don’t get me wrong, but this ain’t it.
@@Luggician “I’d probably figure out their weakness in a weak” was poorly phrased. I meant that I would be able to beat them without taking a week because I would have caught on by then. The point I was trying to make when I said “Didn’t know Pokémon created the two different versions of one game trend” was that you said that Level 5 was trying to copy their “rival” even when they were never rivals and that Pokémon didn’t create the trend, so how could they be copying them? As for Dame Demona I’ll admit she’s not a great boss, Soultimate steal is pretty broken. But if you know how to team build then she isn’t hard, just annoying. Plus the item and purify steal aren’t that bad at all. I wasn’t trying to be rude when I replied to that person so I’m sorry if that’s how it sounded. Calling the Dame boss boring is also subjective too. Also, when I see someone say a boss is terrible it makes me think that to you it was a terrible experience, like how you called Gutsy Bones a good boss but as the fights got harder you began to call the bosses bad like Eyeclone.
i feel like the concept of key quests is more frustrating than the actual quests most of the time, they could have really easily removed the “key quest” tag on saving the classic yokai and it wouldn’t feel forced at all.
If it was just Bony Spirits and Fleshy Souls, I'd say buy whichever one pleases you the most. But since Psychic Specters exists, that's really the only game I recommend you getting. Sure, you'll need to buy the other games EVENTUALLY to complete the Medallium in other games, but PS is just better than BS and FS.
the worst part that you forgot to mention is that in yokai watch 1 its a completely different story than the anime while yokai watch 2 is legit just the movie with a few added things like the memory shop and the yokai war thing nothing else was changed
I dunno, i liked Yo Kai Watch 2. Imo, it's kinda better. I dunno if it's just me, but i'm not the biggest fan of the first game. Too much difficulty spikes i'm sorry.
If you actually have bony spirits can I borrow venoct and get a ire wig I only want to keep the ire wig and I’ll give gilgaros or you kai to get slurpent
ok needed to mention his, Hovernyan CAN'T travel through time, he just had a stone that allowed him to.

The Dame Demona fight seems hard for many just cause they don't use the chad Brokenbrella, which is undoubtedly the best yokai in the game.
It’s funny how everyone who complains about how horribly broken it is are people who can’t make a good team
@@ClairvoyantDreams358And It's not hard at all lmfao.
Doughnut filling, the best villain motivation
Fun fact yo kai watch 2 is one of my favourite games of all time I loved it so much

I love Yokai Watch 2. I personally loved the story. Will say though, the absolute worst part of the game is the amount of key quests.
I loved this game, it even brought in my favorite Yo-kai, Hovernyan.
When you don't take the nonstop train to fortune palace:
Honestly Yo-kai watch 2 is my favorite one in the franchise, while I dont agree with everything, you have some good points that I so agree with, (Dame Demona's fight was veey annoying).
Yeah its maybe my favorite, idk I like them all. The fight is easy tho.

Ironic that my best save file is softlocked at "Defeat Dame Dedtime!" because the fucking gate wont open.

Extra story exclusive Yokai and everything

YKW 2 came before the movie
12:50 You could Shoot A WHAT! WHO WOU- WHY
Didn’t know Pokémon created the two different versions of one game trend
They didn’t create the idea but they made it well known
