Josie you are doing so well keeping the channel going. I lost my husband in 2020 and I can’t imagine that I could go on and carry on the way you have. You bless a lot of people and thank you for everything you do. God bless you
Lord I just lift up Stacey and the rest of Howie’s family to you right now. Lord please offer their hearts comfort. We know even though they know Howie is in your presence they still miss him and are grieving right now. Lord we ask for their physical strengthening as they deal with these unusual weather conditions. Father just let them know how much they are respected, loved and thought of. Father please be with all the farmers, truck drivers, linemen and all who have to work out in this. We thank you for all your many blessings and most of all for the gift of salvation. I pray for our elected leaders to have wisdom, discernment and honesty in their actions. Lord I pray for revival for our country and that we will turn back to you Lord. Thank you again Lord we pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.
I absolutely love listening to you thank you for keeping this channel up it's so perfect for me and I'm sure for others all so no matter how busy stressful ex .. I am this channel slows me down and reminds me to be grateful and give love and support no matter how I think my day is going and I thank you for that
I'm in west central Arkansas and I woke up to -9° this morning. Brrrr. I only THOUGHT I knew what winter was. I'm praying for homeless people and the wild creatures. Praise God my power is still on!
Josie, you underestimate yourself, you are as wise as anyone with a college degree. I thought I'd share this with you. I try to remember this test my words must pass before I say them: Is what I have to say true? ... Is what I have to say necessary? ... Is it the right time? ... Is what I am saying kind?
Your talks are a blessing. Wisdom comes from the Lord and not higher education. Seems the more "educated " we become as a society the more nonsensical we become.
I agree with your very wise words! Thank you for them. We need to pray for those people whose eyes have been blinded and hearts harden to find the Lord, so they will see the real truth and be lead by the Spirit and not self. May God bless your family.
For someone who shied away from being seen or heard too much on Howie’s videos, you are doing a wonderful job with the Cedar Creek Homestead channel. Thank you, especially, for sharing your parable-like storytelling gift with us. I must remember your “dirty window/dirty laundry” story and your “tube-of-toothpaste” analogy. I must also remember your words: “Ya better make sure yer words are sweet cuz you may have to eat them someday!” Josie, you are such a blessing for us all. With all my heart, thank you!
Common sense and wisdom doesn’t come by way of college degrees, but are humble gifts from God Almighty. Bless you for your willingness to share what He has revealed to you.
You are a very wise women , the information you give is better than most .most shy off to keep there channels .they have turned into sales .your heart is in the right place thank you
I love that dirty laundry story. You are such a wise soul Josie. We as a country have to get over “being right” and look at the bigger picture. There has to be a compromise. God bless you and stay safe and warm.
Josie thank you for your kind words and keeping the channel going. It’s much more difficult to have wisdom and kindness than a college degree. College doesn’t teach common sense or morals. Many a degreed person lacks both. God bless you and your family. I truly get excited to hear your videos when you upload them. Thank you 🙏🏻
I think you are very wise and smart. A lot of things you know how to do I don't know anything about it. I learn from you. Your such a blessing to me and others. I loved your veido. I always look so forward to all of them. In Oklahoma it feels like we are living in a deep freeze I have lived in other states where it's much colder and had lots of snow each winter. I can deal with the snow but the ice I can't. God bless you keep warm be careful out side.
Anymore, people are still so snappy about the election and politics in general, I'm afraid to answer any questions related to those topics. Instead, I look the people in the eye and say "I think the whole world's gone crazy, and I'm just doing what I can to take care of my family". Everyone pauses and replies "You're right. It has gone crazy " and they leave it at that.
Amen and Amen Sister Josie!!! Well said.....The problem is God has been taken out of everything....I enjoyed your video...Stay warm, Prayers to you and the family...Love in Christ, Sis
This is such a good talk. Thank you for your wisdom!! We live a simple life and are thankful for our wood stove and the help of neighbors down here in Texas. Keep warm & safe Josie!
An analogy I used with my kids: cut a heart out of smooth new red construction paper...that stands for love and kindness...doing as we should...now crumble it up by hate and gossip and criticism and lies...now try to smooth it out...doesn't work...once we say or do something it cant b undone or unsaid...that crumpled heart shows consequence to our actions or words
I could write a lengthy comment, but I won't. Truth flows from your mouth and wisdom abounds in your heart! So proud Howie is of his bride! GOD BLESS!!!
Hi Josie, I really loved your talk today! The laundry story was perfect to hear tonight! It brought a little laughter to me and made me smile! Can you believe I was sensored tonight while visiting my parents! My brother a Democrat to the bone was was overhearing my conversation with my parents talking about the impeachment trial of President Trump, prophecy, and food shortage coming. My brother decided that I shouldn't talk about these things to my parents because I am a radical, conspiracy believer, and I am religious radical Bible believer! Help! I think I am the first sensored from home Christian! I hope this story made you laugh we are living in crazy times! God bless you and your family are may God supply all your needs!
Really enjoy your “down home” common sense, Ms Josie! Too many people have lost that. Thank you for sharing and God bless you guys during this bad weather and keep you safe!
Your absolutely right a little at a time so people do not realize what is being taken away. They have done A LOT! Of that in California. Love the message and the light you shine Mrs. Josie💛
Josie thank you for the beautiful message you shared tonight. We all need to heed your words of truth & wisdom. My prayers for all affected by these weather extremes, hoping all can stay warm, fed and safe. You, Blade & Cheyenne (& Tex) are doing a good job on your homestead. Normal winters can be tuff but these extremes make it more demanding and dangerous. Blessings 🕊💜
Josie I really love your posts they are always so interesting. Keep them coming, you are doing a great job. Howie would be so proud of you, I always liked his posts too. I am 82 years old and always wanted to live a life like yours. May God bless and keep you safe. Love from hopefully a future friend.
You're saying exactly what so many others r saying right now...I'm not sure how we'll dig ourselves out of this hole though...this new movement is huge...but what they don't realize is that by doing this they r removing a set of guidelines for morality and integrity...we r living in strange times...things we always thought were bad or off the table so to speak r now considered good and encouraged...I find myself shaking my head a lot...us old fashioned common sense folks got to stick together...bless u Josie ❤
What a wonderful show. I loved the last statement about making your word sweet because you may have to eat them. Love your show and I liked listening to your husband too. Keep up the good work.
I agree with you 💯 percent and I love listening to you and the stories you tell ❤ I live in Virginia and we're suppose to get a snow storm and we're ready for it 😉 But I sure can't wait until Spring⚘⚘💐Till next time stay warm and safe and God bless you 🙏
Josie, you are such an inspiration with your talks. Your sweet voice, your kindness always comes through first and foremost no matter what your topic is. You give wise words during your talks, and I appreciate how open and honest and down to earth you are. Praying for your farm to get through the bitter cold, and remember like in the Little Orphan Annie song, "The sun'll come out tomorrow"!
I have never seen you before. You just popped up. What a breath of fresh air. You are much wiser than you give yourself credit for. You brightened my day so much. I was giving up hope in humanity. Thank you so much for being you. You are wonderful. God bless you.
Good message tonight Josie. It was 17 here in N.E. Alabama this morning and will be back in the teens again in the morning. We had a pretty good dusting of snow this morning too. But thankfully the sun came out and the wind dried all the streets today. We live out in the country here too. Stay warm and safe. Till next time, God Bless y'all!!!
Calm, Christian blessed words. Show righteous love even when under attack. Where possible avoid attacking uselessly. Try to live the love of Christ. That does not mean cover over or hide evil but always act with the strength of humility. Loved the sound of the cloths dryer tumbling in the background such an evocation of hearth home love and security.
I will never look at a tube of toothpaste in the same way again. Thank you so much for sharing what's on your heart today as I so needed to hear and apply your words of wisdom.
I'm so sorry about the calf. I get attached to my animals right from birth. It is heart breaking to lose that little life. We are a host family for a female breeding stock guide dog. She lives with us and will one day be our pet, but for now she has a job to do and that is to have puppies that will become future guide dogs for the blind. So we birth the pups and care for them until they are 7 weeks old then they return to be raised by another person, at a year old they return and start guide dog school. Anyway.... as the one that does the birthing, we have lost pups at birth and it is hard but this year we lost one that was 24 hours old. I was heart broke, I did everything right. I received some very wise words from a farmer, he said to me, "if you have live stock, you will also have dead stock. " this didn't make me feel better but it assured me that these things happen. Hugs to you.
Thank you again Josie, great word!!😉 never heard that about the toothpaste but what a great picture lesson, I'm gonna borrow that one to share with my grandkids😊! You're not ramblin' but if you wereI'm sure I'm not the only one who'd listen. Your talks are very interesting and Ican see so many similarities between you and Howie, the way yall share with us with such passion about your family and farm and your love for God teuly shines bright!!😊Thanks for sharing you're doing a great job, I always look forward to your talks. Much love and prayers, your sister in Christ, Cindy B.
I look forward to your videos. I get excited when I see extra ones popping up during the week. You are very knowledgeable and so sweet. I enjoyed tonight's talk as well. Thank you for taking time to make your videos.
Josie, I am so thankful when you share with us the truth from our Fathers words. I have always been a Christian but not a good one. I would ride the fence as they say. The last year and a half I have stepped it in to High gear. I read the word and study in it to truly understand what Jesus was saying. The way to God is through Jesus. I talk to Jesus in my adventures through the day. I have to work on the praying more. This can of worms topic was a great lesson today. Please keep sharing. Love you Sisters and blessings to you, family, and all your beautiful animals. ❤️🙏✝️ love in Christ, Callie from Oregon 🇺🇸
LOL yep, William Bendix ! Catch phrase, "What a revoltin development"😊 From thegrammarist.com - Living the life of Riley means living the easy life, an existence marked by luxury and a carefree attitude. The term living the life of Riley is an American phrase, it first appeared in the early 1900s. There is some suggestion that the idea of a gentleman named Mr. Riley enjoying a luxurious, easy life is suggested in several earlier vaudeville songs, though the phrase living the life of Riley appears slightly later. In the beginning, Riley was also spelled as Reilly, the only spelling now recognized by the Oxford English Dictionary is living the life of Riley. The term living the life of Riley spread across American training camps during World War I, soldiers wrote home using the phrase, which popularized it. By the 1940s the term living the life of Riley was well known enough to be used as the title of a popular radio comedy, The Life of Riley, starring William Bendix. Note that Riley is a proper name, and is therefore capitalized.
You are doing great I watch every video. Live the fact you are sharing Gods word and just being human. Like when you told about asking I have done that and got up to look around see if any one saw me and then thanking the Lord nothing was broke. Stay real and stay in Gods love
Thank you for sharing! I was raised hearing the same sayings you use. I love it! Reminds me of my parents and grandparents who used the same references. They were raised in rural DeKalb, Tx, Bowie County. They are all now both deceased. You put a smile in my heart. Power just went out again. In McKinney, Tx.
Hi Josie. We had freezing rain in Nova Scotia.Good video I will be thinking of the tube of toothpaste.I enjoyed the laundry story.I will work on watching my words.Ramble on I enjoy it.
Bless your heart Josie, I listened to your husband talk because he was a good human being.I put on his videos while we ate dinner all together at home. I wanted my kids young adults to hear a good Christian's words of wisdom. Now we listen to your sweet messages that fill our hearts with the same goodness your husband had.We need to watch our words, our ways, and our mistakes because if we are Christian's,we better be doing Gods will, and that means watch your words indeed! Great messege Josie, take care! Ps my daughter made that chocolate sauce you showed us yesterday...it came out really really good!
Good expressions, I've heard some of them. Lots of great wisdom that you've shared. Thank you. 😊 It's an odd society mindset in today's world. So many things are done without any regard as to who it will hurt. Such as that pipeline. Blessings to you and your family 🙏
Hello Josie Thank you for your wise words and common sense attitude. I needed to hear your story today...it let's me know I am not alone in my thoughts in making.:) stay safe and warm!!!
Awww sorry about your little calf. Sure enjoyed our visit tonight. As they say, food for thought, and I did need that. Love the tooth paste ditty !! You seem to be a good spiritual lady, so thoughtful and wise. Just to say thank you for being willing to share and be a help to others. Your testimony during this time speaks loudly of our Lord's grace, a very present help in time of trouble. Prayers for you and yours...until next time

It was 8 degrees last night in Mississippi. My old house was not designed for such temps.
You have truly helped me tonight to watch my words and be a better person. You are a very wise woman. May God bless you!
Beautiful!
Love it when you take “ old sayings” and explain them.
Hey Josie. 18 degrees here in ohio. Burrr. I don't like the cold. I'm ready for warmer weather.

I listened to your husband talk because he was a good human being.I put on his videos while we ate dinner all together at home.
I wanted my kids young adults to
hear a good Christian's words of wisdom.
Now we listen to your sweet messages that fill our hearts with the same goodness your husband had.We need to watch our words, our ways, and our mistakes because if we are Christian's,we better be doing Gods will, and that means watch your words indeed!
Great messege Josie,take care!
Ps my daughter made that chocolate sauce you showed us yesterday...it came out really really good!
So wise! Thank u for sharing. God bless you Josie.
Good expressions, I've heard some of them. Lots of great wisdom that you've shared. Thank you. 😊
It's an odd society mindset in today's world. So many things are done without any regard as to who it will hurt. Such as that pipeline.
Blessings to you and your family 🙏

Awww sorry about your little calf. Sure enjoyed our visit tonight. As they say, food for thought, and I did need that. Love the tooth paste ditty !! You seem to be a good spiritual lady, so thoughtful and wise. Just to say thank you for being willing to share and be a help to others. Your testimony during this time speaks loudly of our Lord's grace, a very present help in time of trouble. Prayers for you and yours...until next time
