Mantle Rock & The Trail of Tears: Amazing Sandstone Arch deep in the Western Kentucky Woods

The Indian Removal Act of 1830 allowed the forced emigration of Native American tribes living east of Mississippi to the Indian territories in Oklahoma. This section of the trail is next to Mantle Rock, the largest freestanding arch east of the Mississippi River.
I love history and I get out and go find it every week! I have found some amazing history just by getting out and exploring!
