- Projecting the New Orleans Saints starters in 2024 isn't a tough task because players like Chris Olave, Taysom Hill, Rashid Shaheed and others make it easy. The Saints' new offense with Klint Kubiak looks to be in good hands no matter how some feel about Derek Carr leading the way thanks to some impressive, though underrated weapons.
It seems likely that Trevor Penning will take on the right tackle role, but one NFL analysts sees another possibility. Alontae Taylor could also look to hold on to his starting slot corner role while Marshon Lattimore and Paulson Adebo man the outside, but Kool-Aid McKinstry is set to compete inside and out.

The Saints offense is in good hands because of their QB, DC4
Defensive coordinators are gonna hate prepping for us. So many solid football players you can get creative with. Put Taysom in with 1wr 2te a fb and rb or even 3te and fb on 3rd and 3.
We need some form of continuum. Too many funky formations won’t bode well.
I blame Dennis Allen for the team not being one of the 3 worst in the league. After Brees retiring and Payton leaving, I would think an organization would have a few seasons of 3 and 4 wins. We went 7 and then 9 wins. It seems like the vocal majority of fans thought a team should be winning in the playoffs after losing their HoF QB and HC. Dennis Allen is the man.

Here’s what’s being omitted in the conversation about the starting OL…Traditionally, teams tend to play their money!!! Most teams would rather start and cover up a first round pick than to let him collect a free check!!! Either they man up or make a fool of themselves until the guaranteed money is paid and they can cut him outright! Penning will be the starting right tackle (and I predict a very successful one at that) when the season starts. If he struggles, he won’t be benched and given free money! Nope, instead we’ll just become a left handed offense! But Penning is a big fella and has strengths that can be played to. Truth is, the top pass rushers in the game give 10 year veterans problems! So of course an inexperienced rookie dealing with injuries is going to struggle! Give Penning time and chances are all that pre drafted scouting will pan out!!! IJS…

At this point Trevor Penning is getting favortism and the Saints are apparently rooting for him. I hope he pan out too but if Landon Young is our guy we don't have time to figure out Penning.

The Saints has replaced who I believe was the biggest problem. Contrary to what many think, Dennis Allen proven as a DC. Derek Carr, proven being a Pro Boweler. Just need Kubiak to prove himself as a OC. If that happens, the Saints will be more than ok

Olave is a #2. Shaheed is fast, but his route running is marginal. He's a #4 at best. The other guys are no better. Johnson isn't starter material. Moreau is average at best, so I think you're off your rocker Ross.

Only if Kubuak brings in a whole different scheme. IF the O-line protects the QB, we're still throwing (or running) with the same players as last year. Why do we continue to have a piss poor run game? AK, Jamal, etc...
Would you extend Kamara or pay Adeebo and Shaheed these are some financial decisions Saints will have to make next season.
Extend AK and Adebo this year and then give Shaheed the RFA tender next year.

Good teams move on from talented players they can no longer afford all the time, especially after drafting depth players to fill the gaps in the depth chart promoting backups would cause.
