Love this series deli! And love ziggy and Beatrice together. But I feel like you should have ziggy complete the challenge on his own and complete his house then move ziggy and Beatrice in together and combine their households so then it can become like a mini design challenge to combine their different styles and colors and you could do this for any other future tiny town couples too!

I've always seen Ziggy as this flamboyant person, and I'm considering to pair him with Cypruss. In my game, Cyprus married this clepto girl and she stole more than one hoop from Ziggy while que was seeling them, in front on everyone. It was a whole thing. So Cypruss divorced her, went coo coo and adopted a kid. My plan is to pair him with Ziggy, because in my head they just match 😅😂

Just got to the end- Roommates use the fridge. I locked the doors for my played sim’s house. I didn’t notice if your community building has a mini fridge or not, but the fridge counts as one inventory even if there are multiple in the lot. (So if Beatrice has a fridge in her house and Ziggy has one in his, she’ll still be able to access what’s in his.)
Eggs also go bad. So they will get cleaned out occasionally too.
I realised it’s a glitch whenever I leave the lot all things disappear!
@@deligracy There are some weird glitches lately. It used to be that when you moved, the refrigerator and the "Ornate Beauty" chest didn't lose their contents. Lately, when my Sims have moved, all the contents have disappeared when they arrive at the new home.
i think that is right becaue i have the same ithems in my two fridges. so it could be both a bug, but also shared refrideratior issue. i wish you could turn that off becaue also if you have a budler living in a seperate house on your lot they have theor own kitcen so they eat the same food
@@lealarsen2017 Unfortunately, any refrigerator on the lot will have the same foods. Same with the Ornate Beauty chest. If you put it in one, it's going to show up in all the others too.
It's one of the things I miss from TS3. With TS3, each chest, bookshelf, and refrigerator had only the contents you put in that one. It meant that you could sort things into different ones for different purposes. I suspect people got frustrated that they had to find the "correct" chest, etc. to get the item they needed, but the way it works in TS4, each one has the same contents (which means that you can't organize easily.)

I finally finished the yellow house! Man that’s was hard 😭😭 but now I’m moving on to the purple house and I’m so excited 😊❤🎉
i think ziggy should complete the challenge on his own!! i love beatrice’s house and i’m excited to see how ziggy’s turns out, so i think they should stay in their own houses to avoid any compromising on style choices!
For the whole episode, I was like, “Not people thinking Beatrice is in love with Ziggy when she was flirting with Cecilia 👀” And then Beatrice asking him out?? I think I really like Ziggy with Azure more. Beatrice seemed to take care of him like the mom friend of the group. He’s the new one in Tiny Town and she wants to take care of him and food is often the best way to show someone you care. But here we are 😂
Also, I had the same thought about Nesquik but for America 😂 I think a _lot_ of countries have it though
Maybe Beatrice fell for Ziggy when he saved her life. Once the shock of the incident wears off maybe her feelings will fade, too
If Sims get together you could move their houses next to each other and attach them like British semi detached houses. But obviously their styles and colours will be different still

I'd rather her not move in with Ziggy, I enjoy everyone having their own home with their own vibes. They should probably date people outside of the community.
Is it just me or did Azure look like she was expecting? If so that would explain her not being a roommate, they move out if they have kids or get married. If you can get the rentals working again that’d probably be the way to be able to get the sims in tiny town to stay in tiny town.
Edit: I think the idea of them being together could be cute. But I think keeping their separate houses with the separate vibes would be really cool. That way they can not only have the space for their passions, but it still shows their separate journeys. Or myb if tiny town people get together, after each one has had time with their houses, built up everything, you take a picture of their separate homes, and then build a combined home. One that’s an obvious mix of colors and styles. With key elements from their original homes encorporated. And then you would have another lot that’s available for a 2nd gen tiny town sim. Whether that’s the kid of one of the OGs, or someone who heard about what everyone buillt and wants to move in. 😊
I've been having so much fun playing tiny town but my gameplay has DRAMA. I started with Annie and everything was pretty much chill, she did have a tiny bit of flirting with azure but nothing else happened. Ziggy moved in next and he quickly became besties with Annie. A while later Azure asked Ziggy out on a date, it went great and they had 3 more dates where they developed to boyfriend and girlfriend. One day Annie gets a call from azure, she says she found a ring on Ziggy's house and if she should say yes once he proposes. Annie of course says yes and they instantly get engaged. Some time later Cyprus visits and he has a chat with azure, poor Ziggy starts doubting their relationship but they try to work it out (he spends like a week talking over his relationship fears) and Cyprus does ask azure out on a date but she declines. Ziggy tries chatting with Cyprus and then one day he decided he wants to flirt with him lol, so he does. Azure was in her house working but she comes outside to see her fiance flirting, obviously she breaks it off.

Disappearing ingredients is likely from the Simple Living lot challenge still being on. Anytime someone cooks, they need ingredients.

I think Beatrice should "move in" but keep her house separate and help with the animals and gardening because she did the same side hustle for her challenge and knows how hard it is so she'd want to help him out ❤ then that would free up more time for him to do his knitting!
Yeah it wasn't popular. I miss it too. I drink korean banana milk but it not the same as nestle. But they discontinued it in the early 00s in the usa.
I’ve tried crocheting myself and it was so hard to learn on my own as a leftie I pivoted to cross stitching and it’s a lot easier but time consuming. I recommend it for a hobby if you’re looking for a new one in your upcoming winter months. They have kits too that have the patterns already drawn on.
You can create a club and add members & then choose gardening & care for animals so every time you call a club gathering all the neighbours & roommates can help :)

Ive just got Frank Stem and its quite difficult to start with as its takes soo long for the flower arrangements to sell on plopsy and they end up wilting and not selling for much! Once you start leveling up in skill though they sell super well, ive just started building his tiny home ❤
I loved the Strawberry Nesquik growing up (I still drink it on occasion but only the powder the syrup was always too sweet imo)

I got Ziggy first and did knitting. The start is brutal but once you unlock animal clothing, it’s 250-275 a pop. I did give up after I had a furnished house, haven’t landscaped yet 😅 I’ll come back to it eventually.
This challenge has been sooo fun and keeps me invested because I can “start again” while building toward something. Super clever Deli! ♥️

I started with ziggy then Azure and they have amazing compatibility. Azure is madly in love and i love them together. Their houses are opposite to each other. I love it!
Yes, Nesquik is famous in europe from Nestle (Swiss). However the country with most coulture of chocolate milk is Spain. We have cola-cao, cacao-lat, nesquik, etc.
If you are feeling that you might want to have something a little lighter than churros with hot chocolate, you can warm up chocolate milk to accompany the churros.

LOVING this Let's Play Tiny Town! I've been doing tiny town challenge with my Sims and it is turning out WILD so far!! My Frank Stem (first 1 to start building tiny town) has a non-exclusive relationship with Alien Wilson and with him being an elder, I have had to cash in his rewards twice now to obtain potion of youth to keep him around as an elder to meet other tiny town Sims as they have moved in; Cypress impregnated 2 separate Sims (1 being married!) autonomously (I have risky woohoo on and forgot that I did!) and is father of 3 with 2 of them living with Cypress as there was no room at married lady's home for the babies (and her being married!); and I have just started with Ziggy. So far so good with Ziggy, but it definitely helps that he is coming into tiny town after a community building was built and he has 2 other main Sims living on the lot. I've been playing my Let's Play Tiny Town as 1 singular household, so it's definitely making it fun and a challenge playing multiple Sims (total of 5 so far with Frank, Cypress (2 of his 3 kids), and now Ziggy). Having them all as 1 household also allows me to have the horse ranch storage bin to put materials in for all household Sims to be able to open/pull from too! I use MC Command Center to increase size of my household to be able to play all of these Sims as 1 household along with the SNBank mod (and have a kitty vault also).
I love the love between Ziggy and Beatrice. And she knows that the closet way to a mans heart is through his stomach.❤
Yeeeeey, highlight to my Sunday! Personally, definitely up for you to move Beatrice/completed SIMS back as is so cute to see how they all help each other as a community and do their own thing (plus you won’t have to fiddle with rent or worry they are there upgrading your toilets 😝).
I didn’t have for rent or university packs so I was adding the new sim to the household and leaving the other ones on-site, my first one was Frank so then he was helping everyone around with their plants, Beatrice was in charge of group meals as with her aspiration complete meals didn’t spoil etc. The sense of the community really added to the gameplay for me 🖤

I finally have a little house for my pink trendi/style influencer sim, its been real grindy 😅 but now i can sell fits worth quite a lot of money so its going smoother now!
I feel like Ziggy gives off vibes that hes older than his years so it does make sense he would be attracted to an older, successful, mature and caring person ❤

I am loving your tiny town challenge and content! I started with Ziggy and omg....it has taken me a week and many daily hours to make money with him. I am just about finally ready to add a new sim.
I like the idea of doing the roommate thing, that way I don't have to take care of the other characters, all of the time. lol

I started doing this challenge a couple of days ago and of course, I used a spinner to pick my first Sim and guess who I got? Ziggy, of course! And I just want to say, if you want to start out easy, don't start with Ziggy. I'm having fun with it though, so thank you Deli for the challenge.
Haha! Everyone calm down about Deli saying Crochet… the hat Ziggy is wearing is made from Granny Squares which are crafted by crochet with a crochet hook… as well as other items in the game… even if the sim only has the skills listed as Knitting from the pack… all those plant hangers they supposedly knit are macrame, which is a completely other skill.
It’s a game. It’s all good. Just enjoy. By the way, the Tiny Town Challenge Deli designed is one of the best things to happen to the game in years. Let’s just have fun! 🎉

There needs to be a naming ceremony for the town when everyone is finally moved in and they have built their homes. This challenge reminds me of Tarrey Town from Zelda: Breath of the Wild. I also think that doing this with characters from MySims would be really fun.
My vote is for no in regards to Beatrice moving in. But if she does maybe there should be a new roommate who moves into her cottage that acts as a new resident? Someone you don't play with but gets to live there.

I just finished Alice Aperature in this challenge! I ended up getting her the freelancer career because I found the photo taking kind of boring, but I love her so much. She ended up marrying Lavina Chopra and they live in their tiny house together with Rahul and their new baby :)
I am pretty sure that fridges and other items that hold inventory are shared on the lot, unless you use the residential rental and separate the households. I think I have seen mods to stop the inventories from being shareable.
I could so imagine Ziggy adopting a cat! Would be fun to have a pet in tiny town 💜💜

To use the compost, you click on the toilet after it's been used and there will be an option to "Compost in Insect Farm." Just click on that and the sim will use the compost to feed the insects.
I have been so invested in this game play.. Are you posting each house on the gallery or are you going to post it in its entirety once the done with this game play?? I would love to use the entire lot in my game play but use it as if it was an actual like camp ground for my sims to go on vacation in.. I almost spit my drink out when I saw Ziggy being hit with Crumplebottom..I’m in the states and we also have nesquick but ours is just chocolate or strawberry milk mix.. Not sure if we have any other flavors.. I type this as I am enjoying a glass of it now..

(my first time commenting here but i didnt seen it mentioned yet) im pretty sure you need to take out the compost out of the toilet (by clicking on it and selecting it), otherwise its still gonna be catching fire!
Nesquick is huge with little kids in the United States. Specifically the chocolate. The strawberry is less available to find, and the banana would be a hard find.
Loving this series! As for why Beatrice is always stinky, I believe it has to do with the roommate system, like each roommate gets assigned a random "trait" when they move in. (There are some roommates who will disappear and come back with food too)
Idk if it’s intentional, I don’t think so, but I love the irony of everyone in Tiny Town being actually quite large individuals 😂

I can't wait for the next episode! I'm considering trying this challenge at some point, but I'm not a great builder so I want to keep watching you to get some tips before I try it on my own. 😄
It would be fun to see that you are only allowed to use their favorite decor style and color! It would be a challenge and kinda hard to make it pretty! Then when you’re done with that specific sim you can renovate it how you want 🥰

It was either during Beatrice or Azure’s turn, but the townie that offers to fix broken things, upgraded your toilet. At the time you had a broken stove:oven, but they fixed the toilet instead. 😂

Ziggy and Beatrice would be a good combo as a couple. Once Ziggy finish his part, you could combine their styles in one home. And on the other plot of land, you could build an area for animals, where Beatrice could get her chickens and other things, and Ziggy could get his materials for knitting. :)

Enjoying this series. :D You know, I also watch lilsimsie, James and Dr G, and I love watching all of them, but this series is the first one that has made me even consider playing S4 (I am still firmly embroiled in S2 & S3 legacies and have an EA Games boycott going on). A higher compliment I don't know how to give. 😂 Definitely invested in Ziggy's life. :D

So. I had Cyprus first. And am now on Opal Gem. At some point Cypress moved out. 😶 I got him back. But not sure how to prevent that in the future. I do t have for rent.

TBH, i didn't realize Nesquik was sold anywhere but America. I knew Nestle wasn't an American company but thought it was one of those weird items they make specifically because we buy weird things.
Nesquik has also been in Europe & UK for decades too personally I'm a chocolate fan. Just need confirmation from Asian, African and south American countries and we can truly say nesquik is world wide...
I think Ziggy should complete the challenge by himself, and after you've accomplished everything you wanted with Ziggy, they could have a baby!
I know that chocolate milk brand! It's here in the Netherlands as well. Unfortunately, we no longer have the banana and strawberry option. :( Hope you do get to enjoy it :)

I did come into a problem using residential rental in my Tiny Town. “Expanded beyond ops” when trying to build ceilings and place roofs. Like, ceilings wouldn’t place and roof pieces would just disappear.
Apparently it was an issue with the Zenview Apartments in San Myshuno, based on what I could find in trying to troubleshoot. So it isn’t exclusively a For Rent issue I encountered, but I did switch over to residential. I didn’t wanna deal with the vault hassle so I’m using the SNBank mod to store the roommate payments.
I will say that I now get bills twice over. I get told my bills are due, but I also have an option to pay rent at the same time. It counts as paying both if I pay once, but then Panya is threatening to repossess items (but never shows). 😅
This happened to me too. Tried editing the lot from neighborhood view build and there were a million roofs all overlapping, which I was able to remove until I had just the one. But then when I returned to the lot I started getting permission errors (tenant couldn't build-mode stuff, then even the owner couldn't). Supposedly removing all staircases each time you need to edit fixes it, but I had a very wonky staircase in Frank's house and I wasn't about to redo that thing, ha ha. Didn't seem like something I would be able to tolerate for a challenge that requires constant building. So silly that For Rent is still so buggy!
@@SarahFabbri To be fair, it isn't exclusively a For Rent problem since the issue existed with City Living (even if just two specific apartments). But I hear ya.
I had 5-6 staircases due to how I built Azure's house, as well as Opal's (which is where I came into the problem). I was keeping the small hilly terrain for Opal's so I needed to elevate hers. I would have had to troubleshoot the deleting order of all those stairs and hope it resolved the problem- with the chance of it happening again.
The issue just kinda... manifested a little differently in residential rentals. Though, I don't think devs accounted for the possibilty of that lot type being utilized for a challenge like this. When I came across the error message, I started asking around in different Discord servers I'm in and no one had encountered the problem.. So it seems like a somewhat rare occurance. If others aren't building multi-floor homes in this challenge, they probably won't encounter it.
I do intend to switch the lot type over to residential rental once I finish the challenge though.
