    Brother, I don't say this often, because it does not happen often, but I am really happy for your library, it is nice to "know" someone who actually pulled it off and built his own private library and reading space. Wonderful, an inspiration.

    I like this idea, and appreciate you bringing it to light. I'd love to join you in a year-long read and discussion of Dante's Divine Comedy, but don't really care for religious themes, though I realize some of the DC is allegorical. Hmmmm. So, I think I'll follow your commentaries on it and take it from there as I seek a similar classic read. Thanks!

    Divine Comedy is top on my list. But I am not sure which translation to follow. I have the Cary, Dorothy Sayers and Binyon translations on my desk.
