Your income level and expenses is similar to where an established engineer is at in australia after accounting for taxes and exchange rates. So while it is above the average level. It is very very useful to hear from an individual in the same age group with similar income levels. You are building your path to snowball for the decade to come and this video has been helpful for me to financially plan and consider options of what to do in SG in the future perhaps

Hi Demi san, I always enjoy watching your videos and learn a lot! And what you share with us is not only tips of money. It’s your thought, mindset, mentally for life. I really respect your choices, success and yes, you can proud of it! Your income streams were made by you 😉 just wanted to tell you about it. huge respect for the sacrifices you've made, and the value you've created- btw when you mentioned you like to stay at home and watch other channels, same here. I'm really in love with this guy called Kelvin learns investing, he's so amazing 😍

tx for ur informative videos! btw out of curiosity - as a self-employed content creator, do you have to register yourself for income tax purposes? is that also how you get to apply for new credit cards by showing ur income statement and to fulfill the salary credit requirements to achieve certain bonuses? appreciate ur advice!
@@DemiZhuang tx for sharing. i've left the corporate life for a couple of yrs now and have been learning about investments. without any official salary income, my challenge is not being able to apply for new attractive credit cards as well as maximize certain bonuses which require monthly salary credit. :(

Hey Demi, i think your story as a content creator and your mindset is really inspiring! Just keep doing what makes you happy :) i enjoyed this just as much as other month's diaries ❤
Hi, I have just followed you. :) Great series! When you mentioned "income", do you have a day job as an employee, or do you earn from other forms of personal income? Thanks for sharing!
Hi! Love your videos. Can I check with you if you would reccommend investing in VOO via syfe broker or Moo Moo? As you mentioned that Moo Moo has the reinvestment option for the dividends, however in a previous video you metioned you were DCAing on the syfe broker. Does Syfe also have the reinvestment option for dividends as well? Thank you!
yup that's right. I haven't got around to getting a place of my own. I'm assuming you aren't Singaporean. Most of us live with our parents until we get married.
I Like your channel as you provide very clear details and your are very transparent in your finance. I happened to see that you received a dividend from moo moo account. assuming an average dividend yield of 5% across your portfolio, here is the formula 500USD*12=USD6,000. Your capital 6,000USD/0.05=120,000USD
