Britt citing the BeeGees as inspiration makes loads of sense to me; I don't know why the interviewer's called that lame! All that groove in Spoon's music had to have come from somewhere, right?
Britt and Jim are so chill. The interviewer keeps saying stuff to get them riled, and Britt and Jim are just not having it. Great artists and attitudes towards making music.
No reason they should not be as successful as they are. Been around the band since 96 and they have definitely worked. Hole in the Wall days with Paul Minor are memorable. No one writes hooks like B.
I love this interviewer, he's so natural with the artists that they talk more like a conversation and less like a generic awkward interview. That's not easy to do when you're interviewing famous people. Just treating them as being on the same level as yourself and just chatting.
now that is an interview a fan wants to see...we want to know how they came about...how they are they are now with success and what they do to deal with it...excellent interview

This just made me love Spoon even more, and I didn't think that was possible.
Transference was a perfect album if I have anything to say about it.
lol 1:35
"I'll make you a mix cd..."
*look of death*

Loooove the BEEGEES-Loooove Spoon!!! Britt you rock bro! Very classy interview after the word 'lame' was mentioned.....
Great stuff, Britt and Jim are super cool. Really looking forward to their rare appearance in London this month.
Spoon isn’t ever going to ever be widely popular as long as people are widely shallow. That’s why they are my favorite band.
love. them.
wherein Jim says 'yeah'. I'd like to see the uncut version of this interview.
8:35...that's one of the many reasons why you're not their manager and (hopefully) not a manager or a person involved in the music industry at all.
Spoon took a Pavement direction after releasing Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga
jim jim That Sound...
so awesome. and i want to know where britt got that jacket from for such a good deal!
they are fucking genius's
Anybody else just randomly got this in their recommended?
You should probably never start off an interview with, "id kick your ass" ever 🤣
This interviewer sooo condescending.
Would that not be nice!!!!!!!!

Spoon makes their money off of licensing. A lot of it.
This interviewer is just sooo condescending
What a weird interviewer. Bone to pick? Trying to be hard-hitting? I'm not understanding what's going on.
