the most amazing thing is not only that many of the clips are against incredible players, they are also from big tournaments like evo world, or some from mlg tournaments.

first off, techincally, the song is by Disco Dan from OCRemix and the song would be taken from him if anyone, I'd imagine. Just because someone used a song doesn't mean it can't be used again. Nobody stopped the 5000 people using the same Linkin Park songs on their videos haha

The thing about Ken is that he did like the basics of an advanced play with Marth, showing up his potentials and making it one of the best characters to use against-like-every type of enemy.
What Mew2King was to improve even more Ken's way of playing to a point in wich Marth becomes almost invincible in good hands(for me Mew2King and Ken are the best at this :/).
Mew2King evolved Marth, invented new things and..yeah...showed off the gimping side of it >=)

I liked it up till the last 30 seconds or so, where you showed scenes from OMFG Mew2King, another combo video of him created by NJ'zFinest. It still was a great video; don't get me wrong. I just thought you should've used different clips.

Btw melee was awesome, look at the diversity of characters that were used in tourney play. This video is a great example. Fox/Falco/Marth/Shiek/Peach/Falcon. Sometimes Ice Climbers... We will miss you melee, that is the people like me who played one of those 7 characters.

I love the part where m2ks fox is raping up ken's marth (1:22-1:56). Simple, effective and deadly combos (but hard to perform, doing upthrow->three uairs fast enough for it to register as a combo is hard, especially if youre following DI)

m2k became so good in this game its amazing.
One reason i can think of is that yes though the games are more fun and last longer when they are more competitive and more skillful, maybe its a health issue on video games causing carpel tunnel

I think the part with the credits was the weirdest thing i have ever seen in my life. Anyway Ken has done more for SSBM than M2K has. Also if Ken kept playing he would be alot better than M2K for sure. He only lost to Mew2king because he stopped playing as much.

Your post epitomizes exactly what I just said about people who don't go to tournaments having no sense of time when it comes to competitive Smash.
Ken beat Mango in the middle of 2007, when Mango was still only like the 3rd to 5th best player. M2K was clearly the best in 2007. He didn't win all the time, but he won way more than he lost, and won way more than anyone else. He was ousted by Mango after losing to him twice, who hadn't lost a tournament for a year and a half until a few weeks ago.
I think he could if he tried. That is, I don't think he would instantly start winning if he came back. But if he came back, played regularly over a period of time and worked on his game, I think he could be a major contender again.
He probably isn't that interested though.
M2K needs a new combo video. RoM 3 videos may be VERY helpful.

i am playing brawl now. which suks, although i need to test the hacked version :P. anyway back to the point yea man i tried smashboards and i travel around(if u meaning the island) and nope. ppl here don't care about melee that much to get into it. so they ran to brawl because it's easy -_- anyway i found 3ppl that use the tech, but i am tired of playing them so i play it from time to time now. thanks for the advice though ^^

No, when people can't DI like all the crazy SDI all the top players are capable of nowadays melee is brutal. Almost all the combos in this video are actually terrible by todays standards lol.

and the beginning aswell... (when his marth is edgeguard-raping a captain falcon) I cant beleive he makes marth look so fast
well i don't know if you know what wavedashing is... wavedashing is when you jump and then airdodge into the ground so quickly that you don't leave the ground. When fox uses his down b, he can jump out of it almost instantly. If you use a wavedash out of the down b, that's what it looks like (waveshining).
I wonder how many hours I'd have to play M2K before I could take a stock...
