Laser collimators are great but just be sure that the laser itself is collimated before collimating the telescope

Great I just collimated my AD8 but now I see the actual laser collimator can be off? How do you collimate the laser? Can you give a bit of detail on how to make sure the laser collimator is correct?

Any tips how to collimate the collimator? The collimator of my Zhumell Z8 was waaaayyy off and my cheap svbony laser collimator did the trick.

I don't get it. I adjust the secondary mirror screws to align them, and then I need to "snug" them up? What does that mean? When I tighten them, then the alignment gets thrown off because I am tightening the screws. What am I missing? Thanks

I found that a little confusing as well. Essentially all of the screws should be snug, but you are going to slightly loosen one side so that the oppsite screw can be slightly tightened. Youre probably going to be working in the range of quarter turns at a time, and none of the screws should really be backed out that far.
