When the storms of life rage on and it feels like the weight of the world is resting squarely on your shoulders, it's natural to feel overwhelmed, alone, and uncertain about what the future holds. In those moments, it's important to remember that you are not alone in your struggles. You have a support system whether it's comprised of friends, family, or other loved ones who are there for you, ready to offer a listening ear, a shoulder to lean on, or a helping hand. It's okay to not have all the answers or to feel like you're barely keeping your head above water. Life is full of ups and downs, twists and turns, and unexpected challenges that can leave even the strongest among us feeling vulnerable and unsure. But it's during these times of adversity that your true strength shines through. You are stronger and more resilient than you give yourself credit for. You've overcome obstacles and faced hardships before, and each time, you've emerged from the darkness stronger, wiser, and more capable than before. This time is no different. You have the courage, the determination, and the inner resources to weather this storm and come out on the other side stronger than ever. So take a deep breath, reach out to those who care about you, and remember that it's okay to ask for help when you need it. Lean on your support system, draw strength from their love and encouragement, and know that brighter days are ahead. You are not alone in this journey, and together, we will navigate through the challenges and emerge stronger and more resilient than ever before.
This is so true. Every time I try to vent and talk to my friends about something that’s bothering me they always laugh and talk over me. They basically ignore me and it’s sad to realize there is no one you can trust to vent to. One of my friends in my friend group has been really rude and seems mad at me but won’t tell me why. She always gets mad at me for no reason and then after a month she comes back to me happy. I honestly don’t get it. Even when I know it’s not my fault I blame myself and feel guilty for no reason. I wish people were more serious when it came to people’s mental health. I feel horrible for everyone who doesn’t get shown concern for their mental health.
If they are rude to you, then ditch those people, they’re not worth your time and will drain you out more. Also PLEASE don’t be afraid to get help!! I know it’s hard, but is there any way you can get in touch with a therapist or counselor that would help? Also, you are beautiful and God loves you so much! :)
I hate switching houses back and forth and I get the blame put on me for no reason bc my dads parents were never devorced and he doesn’t know what it’s like and I cry and he says “oh you’ll be fine” which mabey I won’t be okay there that is my vent……..
tw: a small vent my parents need to move a lot for work and my friends are saying “you need to stay” or “how come ***’s parents stay here for along time and ur parents don’t?” well it’s not like i can choose..
Im so sorry. I know it can be really hard to express your feelings to others. But know your coping methods are valid and don't force yourself to talk to others if you can't. ❤ ^ This goes to everyone.
I’m always scared to vent because I’m scared than they tell everyone, then everyone will just start asking are you okay? And for some reason when ever I hear those words when I cried not to long ago I immediately start crying then my face gets all red blotches and I find it really embarrassing so I really never vent, my way of venting is basically just watching a show that comforts me.
I’m not trying to to be rude in any way shape or form at all, but is their any way you can get in touch with a therapist? or maybe school counselor by chance? That might help! :) Sorry if this doesn’t help, I just wanted to make a suggestion that might be beneficial! :)
Reminder •Your skin isn’t paper, don’t cut it •Your face isn’t a mask don’t cover it •You size isn’t a book, don’t judge it •Your life isn’t a movie, don’t end it
I told my "friend" about my sh, she told my counselor even though i told her multiple times not to. She's one of the only ones I'm comfortable talking about mental health with, and i've been wanting to vent abt my attempts and stuff, but i'm scared she'll tell him again and i'll be sent to a psych ward.
it’s okay to talk to your friends about that kind of thing, but never rely on them completely or treat them like your therapist. i had friends do this to me when they’re problems were to big for a teenager like me to solve. i felt responsible for their lives, and it took a heavy toll on my mental health. just remember that there are professionals out there.
When i watch vent vids it puts me in a whole different perspective, and it makes me scared because I don't drain them and cause them to feel that way...
Well, it kinda means like someone talking to someone else about their problems and the other person maybe calms them down [Sorry for the horrible explanation]
I’m actually sorry a little while ago I vented to my boyfriend and he was really supportive and caring. I’m sorry there isn’t many people like that in your life.
I dont want to make anyone feel guilty with my vents so, i just gonna wish you good luck, i know i cant help but you are all strong and capable of anything
Venting is hard. But sometimes you really need it, if you ever need severe help call someone you trust or a hotline. Remember, it’s never your fault for venting EVER! Just always remember to be police to the other person as well, always ask before hand and always ask how their day was too.
I vented to one of my friends before and they were very supportive but I’m too scared to burden them by accident, I don’t want to turn them into a therapist friend on accident
It’s really nice of you to consider your friend’s feelings. But it’s important to look after yourself too. If you don’t feel comfortable talking to them, then feel free to talk to me. I enjoy helping people.
I so get this like I feel like I have everyone to vent to so many but I just can’t it’s scary giving people your feelings but I want to tell someone but I just cant.
My mum used to say to me when I was little to always tell her when I’m sad but when I do it just always leads to her yelling at me, if I spoke to my dad he wouldn’t of got it and he doesn’t really have time for this sort of stuff, I would never tell my friends because they would call me an attention seeker and other things, i can’t vent fully* in chats because I don’t want to seem like an attention seeker or anything like that, my brain is so crammed up with thoughts. I was scared typing this in thinking that people would say “ wdym you have a perfect life compared to mine” or “ 💀”, I said this isn’t everything. When I mean fully I mean letting everything out :)
Yeah, it’s hard when you trust someone to listen and all they do is betray you. If you want to, you can talk to me about anything. I enjoy helping people.
I vented one time...I got yelled at by everyone(they went far enough to body shame me, and make fun of my at-home problems), got ghosted, then they came back as if nothing ever happened......
I don't feel comfortable venting to my friends/family, especially since I'm really sensitive and a lot of times something that was deeply upsetting to me was nothing to others. I usually just... write a diary or I record myself while I'm venting when I'm home alone.
The reason I don’t vent to friends anymore is because social media is saying/pointing out how that friend is maybe going through something and you’re just weighing them down by telling them your problems . Which most the time isn’t true, but once you think hard about it… it just keeps haunting your mind like “what if they aren’t okay and I’m just dumping my stuff on them?”

So basically there is two (types of friends I have irl and online) so ima start with my irl friends So basically I meet this girl in 4th grade and she was one of my best friends and she is the reason I have friends but then she started saying I looked like a mole rat and I’m stupid i agree with her and whenever she’s like talking with one of our other friends and I’m there I try and join the conversation but then she said like “*my name* shut up no one cares” so then I don’t talk and now it’s been like a few years probably she still does that and because I like anime and things like that she always calls me a UwU girl or whatever she says and I got this new lunch box it’s like has a bear on it saying cute or something but she like said “omg that’s so cute core!” And she was like bullying me I would say but she always calls me ugly so now I’m insecure and recently I would bend over to pick something up and she like gets her finger and like goes down my back feeling my spine and saying how skinny I am and I don’t like it but I don’t wanna tell her that cus she gonna say I’m sensitive or something but anyway now I’m insecure and don’t like my body really so yeah (she still is my best friend ig)
Do you ever just feel like you don’t want to be here anymore, like you would do anything to get rid of it all. Like you have no one to talk to and that no one understands you and you have tried so hard to get people to understand but they don’t get it so they tell you to “try harder”. Or that you will never ever feel better. Or do you feel like people listen, just don’t care. Me to. You took the time to read this because it means something to you, I know you have probably heard this a LOT of times but it’s true. Your are not alone. ❤❤❤
The only person I can vent to is my best friend. But I can't fully vent. I can only vent about this one person who's ruining me and my best friends life. We vent to each other about this girl almost every night I wish I could fully vent..
When I vent, people don’t really understand what’s happening and say bad things when they don’t mean it like how they said it,they try to comfort me,but it’s the opposite…I understand.
I one time vented to one of my “friends”. We were best friends for like a year but then we just drifted apart. I was feeling lonely and depressed so i just wanted to talk to her. One of my “friends” friends told me that i shouldn’t send her any more texts because she’s telling everyone and mocking me. All i wanted to do is get mad at her. But i didn’t. This is why u shouldn’t put too much trust into certain people. I’m not telling you to not trust anyone but just certain people.
yeah, its really hard for me to vent as well, because most people are unable to understand me due to me not being like other people, and that my peers tend to be really judgmental and mean at this age (btw, yeah, im a teen and theyre teens as well), while i try so hard not being judgmental and being empathetic/helpful to others, or try not coming off as rude.... also im not the "extroverted" type either like most of the people around me are, im introverted, and i also have autism and adhd.
I don’t wanna vent to my friends and once when I did he was like “ ok? “ and another is like “ oh well at least…. “ but there’s one who listened once but I don’t want to vent to her bc she’s my bsf and I already moved away from her and I don’t wanna trauma dump like that so yea notes is great tho!

Feel free to use any of these to brighten someone's day or remind yourself of your own worth!
I could never vent of what my mind says, and what I think and feel. Even to my closest friends. I’m more of a therapist friend than a actual friend. I have always been a person who doesn't tell anyone anything. I wish I could, but I can only tell my mom so much that she will understand. So I just stay quiet, letting myself be a place where they can confide in. Sometimes it hurts so bad, not being able to share with anyone, but I just, can't.

I do this to I’m so scared people will judge or get mad at me for venting plus I always get called an attention seeker when I do vent but at least I can’t this way
I tried to vent, but they just call me a pick me , attention seeker , ext.. they always vent to me and I try my best to comfort. It’s just messed up! I can’t vent but they can. I’m sorry I said too much.. I hope you are alright, 💗 and I’m sorry for venting here
when people vent to me I listen to help them get it off their chest, but when I try to vent to people it is 99% them ignoring me and I feel disrespectful..
Heyyyyyy, I just want to take a moment to tell you how incredibly strong and resilient you are. Despite the challenges and hardships you're facing right now, your positivity and determination shine through. Your courage in the face of adversity is truly inspiring, and I have no doubt that you will emerge even stronger on the other side. Your kindness and compassion towards others, even when you're struggling yourself, is a testament to your beautiful heart. Remember, it's okay to not be okay sometimes, but never forget how much strength and love you possess. You are not alone in this journey, and there are people who care about you deeply. Keep believing in yourself and holding onto hope - brighter days are ahead for someone as incredible as you.

When the storms of life rage on and it feels like the weight of the world is resting squarely on your shoulders, it's natural to feel overwhelmed, alone, and uncertain about what the future holds. In those moments, it's important to remember that you are not alone in your struggles.
And I’m sorry for what you’re going through! :(
For anyone who don't understand
Vent is when u tell something to someone but u don't know if u can trust them
I hope this helps
No.. that’s not what it is at all
It’s when you talk to someone/something about all your problems
you are so wrong bud
I hate switching houses back and forth and I get the blame put on me for no reason bc my dads parents were never devorced and he doesn’t know what it’s like and I cry and he says “oh you’ll be fine” which mabey I won’t be okay there that is my vent……..

Im so sorry. I know it can be really hard to express your feelings to others. But know your coping methods are valid and don't force yourself to talk to others if you can't. ❤

This goes to everyone.
What’s a vent
I’m always scared to vent because I’m scared than they tell everyone, then everyone will just start asking are you okay? And for some reason when ever I hear those words when I cried not to long ago I immediately start crying then my face gets all red blotches and I find it really embarrassing so I really never vent, my way of venting is basically just watching a show that comforts me.
I’m not trying to to be rude in any way shape or form at all, but is their any way you can get in touch with a therapist? or maybe school counselor by chance? That might help! :)
Sorry if this doesn’t help, I just wanted to make a suggestion that might be beneficial! :)

it’s okay to talk to your friends about that kind of thing, but never rely on them completely or treat them like your therapist. i had friends do this to me when they’re problems were to big for a teenager like me to solve. i felt responsible for their lives, and it took a heavy toll on my mental health. just remember that there are professionals out there.
When i watch vent vids it puts me in a whole different perspective, and it makes me scared because I don't drain them and cause them to feel that way...

man i did this to myself while writing in my notebook and i have 5 notebooks filled w/ my vents
Every time I vent no one takes me seriously..
I used to be afraid to vent to my friends and hid my emotions from them but now I am not afraid to open up to them about my personal life❤
wait omg you do that too? sameeeee. i’m so glad i’m not the only one here doing this ;)
I love you and I’m so proud of you please don’t give up if you need a break it’s ok it’s better to take a long or short break than feeling how you are

You’re kind
You’re smart
You’re you
We don’t want to lose you🫶🏻
I vented one time...I got yelled at by everyone(they went far enough to body shame me, and make fun of my at-home problems), got ghosted, then they came back as if nothing ever happened......
I can relate to most of this omg! It's the absolute worst.
I'm so sorry though..
I just did that an hour ago, venting to myself on a call
I did this… but instead I told my self I was loved… I needed it and it keep me here..

I just never want to vent bc I always thought that if I do it I would think that the others are thinking that I'm an attention seeker, so i have to be the therapist friend.I just use notepads or AI's to comfort myself..
