The scuttlebutt about the black piece on the Jericho trigger guard is for a particular holster retention system. To no surprise I've never found such holster for sale, though I've never seen a surplus Israeli holster for sale either, but I'm sure when I do, it'll be commercially roll marked MOSSAD
I have two surplus handguns (a black SIG P226 and a stainless Taurus PT92 AFS), which are part of my massive collection of 1990s-vintage Wonder Nines (my favorite guns to collect). Both were purchased from a surplus importer in Montana with whom I've done repeat business. They've both held up pretty well and shoot decently, but not sure I would buy another surplus handgun nowadays. The main reason I went the surplus route to buy those guns was because at the time, my salary was about half what I make today, so spending more than $500 on a handgun was a bigger hit to my paycheck. Nowadays, when I buy old handguns, I tend to peruse GunBroker until I find the pistol that I want in very good condition, and then I'm willing to bid a lot more money to get what I want.
That second to the last PP on the bottom row reminds me of a guy I used to work with at my department before I retired. He was so heavy that the grip/frame on his Sig 226 was worn down, almost to the magazine cut out because of being crammed up against the aluminum console.
I wish. Sadly the surplus imports business is a quickly dying one. Kept alive by the occasional neat finds(like those Portuguese contract K98K rifles.)
Alden. Those Portuguese contract rifles were beautiful! I missed out when you had them offered. Can you say now where they were from. After you released them other vendors got some too. I did eventually get one. Just would like to know where they were post war years. Thanks.
The problem for me is that the stuff needing repair isn't that much cheaper than the stuff that doesn't so there's really no gain unless you just like projects.

That two-tone 941 is awesome!

CZ 83 is so hot. I have both an 82 with the rounded guard and an 83 with the squared off guard
All that soup but no breadsticks
Pretty nice group. It always amazes me how European police love their small pistols.
Waiting for some star model B's and some old frame tanfoglio ta90's with angled frame
I just shot my tanfoglio ta90 I got from his last batch, it's reliable and super accurate you won't be disappointed
This is one of God's toughest challenges.
So many nice firearms and so little money. Maybe someday.
Wowee!! Nice haul Alden!! Stay safe, stay armed, stay free. God Bless.
Kel Tec 556 probably the most overlooked kel tec gun.
I thought because of the recent Mosin Nagant video. I was guessing you might have more Mosin's.

I slept through the last mosin sale, rip
Nice selections!
Would you ever consider selling some more ratty/beat on arms in need of a little love?
I love me a good project and RTI is less than trustworthy

LOVE YOU BRO
Sigh... This video is a very hard reminder for me to seek alternative employment and fast. Giving me the sweats!
I need a 941 jerico
They've been going up in price over the last few years, but they're worth it.
Palmetto state armory has the RS 9mm for $550
