This program is presented as originally created. It may contain outdated cultural depictions.
No one is thinking of Jack, who losed a daughter! Everyone considered only the pain of Ridge!
Ridge is sure that his wife has died happily and will be happy somewhere - while Jack has to remember that the last time Jack had seen his daughter Taylor, she had been crying at the guest house while holding her confession letter, he knows that Taylor during her trip must have been anxious and wondering about Ridge's reaction.
It's very significant that Ridge is talking about Taylor at this point the way he talked about Caroline back then.
❤❤👏🏼Cridge and Tridge
yes Taylor is so much like Caroline in many ways
Jack has known Taylor the longest. I'd think he'd be more saddened than he acts.
Totally agree, he acts like as if he doesnt realize it really. Otherwise he must be destroyed.
Jack is such a lackluster character. Everything about him is the color grey.
Jack should of stayed with Sally! She would of always brighten up his life!!
He seemed anxious to find out for sure about fabric in bag.
What I don't get, the people recovering items from plane crash, how do they know which scraps of clothes beling to whom?
Was there a body wearing these clothes, or just items from suitcases?
And so fast!!
Jack was always boring
Ridge could feel that Taylor wasn't dead because she wasn't. I will say Ronn Moss stepped up his acting game he made me tear up.
As an actor Ron makes a good rock star. 😊
He was one in real life
They should have staged his scenes in this episode at the pool in a tiny bathing suit.
The Egyptian authorities found Taylor's purse and some identification - but obviously a better proof is Taylor's burned suit that fortunately still has the part intact with Taylor's name and Ridge's love message.
We love coutoure gowns in Egypt 😂
Too bad things didn't happen that quickly in real life
😭😭😭😭😭😭. If I had watched this in 94 live with no spoilers, I would've been crying!!! But it's still good drama in 2023....and I'm here for the drama😢💔
I’m sure there’s an exception or two that I can’t think of right now, but Eric has to be the most useless character ever when another passes away. He always just stands there trying to look upset, but seems more disappointed than anything. I remember when Felicia “died”, Stephanie and Ridge were bawling and Eric was just standing there and looked like he only gave a half-hearted sigh. Totally hopeless when it comes to grieving or reacting to death.
That's why I always say, John Mccook isn't an really good actor. I don't think it's intentional on the writing. It's John that is simply not a good actor. He rarely does for me on his acting. He is not very convincing in the most scenes.
And yes, totally agree Eric, the s ex pest is useless and clueless as always.
Eric is a strange man. I see him as a workaholic, and those people tend to be self absorbed and not in touch with other people's feelings. Superficial in a way. In Eric's case, it's beautiful women that get his attention and flip a switch. Same thing with Ridge, only like Stephanie he's a fiery and more well rounded personality.
@@donkeygospel6 yes, I think that when he wants to or has to, he does a really good job with his acting, but most of the time he is content just standing there pulling a half-hearted expression when he has nothing to say. I wonder if that is more his reaction to the writing and production in terms of how they use/portray his character, rather than his skills...
I agree. The only time I feel anything in his scenes is when he’s angry. The rest of the time it seems like he’s just there. I’m sure that must have been frustrating to Susan Flannery who brought 110% to every scene no matter how atrocious the storyline was.
@@shannon2691 stephanie in someway probably did. He divorced her three times and I'm sure she got everytime the half of his money. The first time she sure did. The next couple of times, she probably anyway got the same amount as well. It's unrealistic to think Eric had any money left.
What a pity that they either forget to inform Zach or that he couldn't make it. Stephanie hugged Jack quickly, but then she had to focus on her son. Have they even yet mentioned Zach and Felicia?
Strangely they haven't been mentioned in a while
Kristen comes back for the memorial service or Brooke and Ridge's wedding..I forget Which.??
@@MrCraigblaze think it was the wedding
@@MrCraigblaze It's for the wedding, she's a bridesmaid for Brooke
But Brooke was there. She is the most important person in that family reunion......
I think that this is the first time that I've seen Sallys' kitchen and dining room, gorgeous. She really is domestic at heart. All of the years of struggling in " the rag trade" as she calls it have paid off, yet the dream of having a father figure in the home always turns into a bad one 😪
Very pretty kitchen, and totally 90's with the tile countertops/backsplash, Armstrong linoleum flooring, Broyhill pine farm table, and pops of bright color. I think Jack was a great match for her---too bad the writers didn't allow Sally to have a good lasting relationship.😢
And the apartment seems to have dropped about 10 floors 🤣
@@DonaldTaft As Marlo Thomas would say in That Girl, ,"Oh Donald" lol 😊
@@marcie9951 You know interior design 😄 Good eye. Yes, it's sad about Sally and Jack😔
@@trinit2108 Ikr? 😕😞
Its a family tragedy with the plane crash but nobody really cries but ridge in the end.. its a little bit strange, i thought this is a big drama in real life and more bigger on a soap, and it will be overplayed. A great loss. And why does nobody fly over there and check the situation? Everybody in this sutuation tries to do anything but not only stay around and talk. I would go crazy if not go there and check all out myself, even the slightest possibility. I think this is not very well written. Also her brother Zach isnt informed and all other family members (felicia, Kristen etc). And of course her office.... but when i hear the knocking on the door with the courier piece and finally the moment of realisation.. this was very sad .. my body shivered a little 😢
Dang little CJ has his daddies genes. Sure can draw good for a 3 yr old
Except he didn’t draw that. 😂😂
The dialogue in the Sally/Anthony/Macy scenes is cringeworthy. Darlene Conley deserved better material than this. Of course, it's important to see Sally's vulnerability and her need to find a father figure is understandable. But she is the most dynamic character on this show, and that quality always falls away when there's a Clarke or an Anthony is in the picture.
Sally comes across like a lovesick school girl. She is head over heels in love and dreaming about marriage but doesn't even bother to check if the guy is interested. The romance with Anthony is really all in her head (although he's certainly feeding her fantasies).
By the time I started watching, they had stopped trying to make fetch happen between Sally and inappropriately young men, so I got to see her at her best. I'd probably hate the character if I was watching this in real time.
Look, Sally Spectra's apartment has a kitchen! And it's HUGE!
Why does Macy look so dull? No hairstyle, no make-up? I don't get why Ridge thinks that having his fabric survive the crash explosion can defy any other scientific proof of the "no survivors conclusion"?
Or in a twisted way, is he taking the resilience test for the Belief formula for the fabric to a whole new level?
Well, she is just having breakfast with her mother so I guess the dress code is casual.
And yeah, that was quite a resilience test for BeLieF! I'll bet Brooke's mind went "that fabric is burnt to a crisp _but it doesn't wrinkle!"_
Lol...the latter part of your comment I guess..Belief has gone supa dupa
I wished the show would still take the effort to try to give these characters great and grand homes. Today we get to see Sally's grand kitchen - and Eric eating outside at his property.
Jack and Ridges stepping out to talk, before all the others join them in the Forrester living room.
Yes Mara i like it. Its bringing in the " home feeling" and the set changes underline the situations perfectly.
Here Eric thinks of his wife Sheila too and decides to bring her along- but first he gives her a short reprimand to be nice.
Like his child lol ..he dosent even talk to his children that way
I don't get why s ex-pest Eric has to bring his wife to Stephanie's home and not even asking her at least, considering how both women feel about each other. Sensitivity was never Eric strongest suit, like loyalty, faithfulness and honesty isn't it either. Sheila and Brooke are not stephs family. He still hasn't understood that.
And Eric's , Sheila's and Brooke's present at the house is absolutely useless.
I understand why Sheila is there but Brooke? She really has no business being there. But we all know the real reason why she is there. Just making sure that the competition is really out of the way.
Oh Bee same o!e same ole. Ridge wanted her there, they are close friends. She is as mch a Forrester and family as rest are!
ooh Susan's eye looks so painful!
Broken blood vessel. I had that once over 17 years ago, which is nothing wrong, but the appearance looks like a pink eye
Wow Sally's kitchen is absolutely beautiful and huge! I would love to have a kitchen like that.😊
and with the view right on Forrester mountain
Very smart thematically to have the "confirmation" of Taylor's death be the outfit Ridge designed for her. Fashion and Design are major themes on this show and it ties Ridge's talent - the passionate expression of his Art - to his love and grief for Taylor. It's ALSO interesting that Ridge was initially convinced that Taylor was still alive despite the seeming implausibility of it. While this could normally be chalked up to not wanting to believe that the worst has happened, the fact is Ridge is right! Taylor is not actually dead! So his initial certainty about that takes on a different meaning: more instinct than denial. The show has made much in the past of Ridge & Brooke's psychic connection (Brooke sensing Ridge was in trouble when he was violently attacked outside Pierre's) and here we get a TRIDGE psychic connection, with Ridge actually perceiving the real truth and being able to feel on some level that Taylor is still alive.
How can her father be that cool in such a targedy???
Poor Jack - losing his daughter.
Poor stephanie - losing her favorite daughter in law, who was her friend. And she has to be in the same room and letting the two devil (ex) wives of the s ex-pest Eric into her home. And she has a eye that looks like is hurting badly.
Both not getting a lot or any consolation from anyone. They console and comforting others.
I loved Stephanie consoling her son.
Don't worry Stephanie it will be alright .... Brooke is waiting in the wings😪😍
she loved Taylor like a daughter
@@acasburn1460 Ridge was so tacky. Didn't even bother looking for her.
@@samanthajayewardene4523 how is that tacky she was supposedly burned in a fire.
I love Sally she is an amazing actress
Agree I above her.
Darlene Conley was on Young and Restless before taking the role of Sally. She played a bad character who had Nina’s baby stolen ,and sold on the black market. She was also excellent in that role!
@@-Lily7415 really, I don’t remember that at all, Thanks
@@-Lily7415 thanks for the reminder
Darlene Conley brought a lot fun in tbis soap. She is indeed amazing.
Ron nailed it 💯
Very clever for the writers to tie into the story line actors real life physical issues they might have during filming e.g SF blood shot eye.
Sheila could have been the cause🤪
Yes, I suppose they realized that the viewers would be looking at Stephanie's eye anyway so it was best to give it a mention rather than just ignore it.
Well hope SF didn't have pink eye
She mentioned a broken blood vessel. I had that once over 17 years ago, which is nothing wrong, but it looks like pink eye
I remember they wrote a scene where Brooke got in a car accident, because KKL was injured on her horse.
The Triangle Anthony/Macy/Sally is another strange triangle that involves 2 family members. I start to believe the Bells loved such kind of really "weird" love liasons. Its not the first strange triangle including 2 family members (note: Thorne/ Caroline/Ridge; Eric/Brooke/Ridge) and as what i have heard more of those are coming up in later seasons (Taylor/ Ridge/ Thorne; Thorne/brooke/ Ridge). Isnt this strange? Why they always change partners in between the family?
It is strange - but usual for B&B. Bridget is Felicia's baby sister ( born, when Felicia already had been a young adult and designer at FC) but at one time there will be Bridget/Dante/Felicia - and another time there will be Bridget/Nick/ aunt Katie - Bridget/Deacon/ mommy Brooke.
Even for a triangle involving two family members, it's strange, because neither potential couple is really portrayed as worth rooting for. It's an odd kind of "balanced" triangle where there are *no* winners _regardless of who ends up with Anthony._ The only happy outcome is for Anthony to end up alone, and the "pair" with true rooting value is actually _Sally and Macy._
@@mara4450 oh there is a lot more of these coming up. I even dont know all the characters you pointed out. Looking forward to it.
Soon will be Jessica , Maggie and Dylan to lol
@@filionsteve2133 l couldn't stand that triangle! I'm dreading the arrival of Jessica.
Seeing Stephanie's left eye kinda scared me a bit as if she had allergy issues or something.
At 2:38 the eye scared me too.
I’m not saying this cruelly, but she looked a bit like the Terminator at some points!
At least they explained about Stephanie's eye. Still, little frighten to see it that bad.
it was creepy lol
@@mara4450 someone mentioned yesterday this is the point in her life that she had a serious eye condition
Sheila doesn't do her self any favours turning the tragic situation with Taylor onto herself stating she is not welcome at Stephenies even though that is true in these circumstances its best not to make it about herself and just go along with Eric and support him and the family.
True. She is not the middle of the earth. But when eric said: " dont even think of any bad words to stephanie.." he treats Sheila again like a kid.... this is not ok. This marriage is over i think
when the show aired originally, did we know that Hunter Tylo would return 4 months later?
I was watching back then and I didn’t know. I don’t think the viewers were supposed to know but apparently the writers and producers knew she’d be returning.
@@sharonstewart4882 yes it was part of a storyline. I am an overseas viewer since by Taylor death ( in my country) we already knew from foreig spoilers that she had returend
I was watching back then too and I didn't know. I thought Hunter Tylo had left the show but I also remember thinking the way they did it (no body, just the clothes) left open the possibility that Taylor might not actually be dead. I wasn't reading spoilers or anything back then though.
Nobody knew. The show knew of course but fans and viewers did not know. It was not reported in any magazines that she would be back. It wasn't even reported until after she returned, and Hunter and the show did some interviews, that there was an agreement for her to come back after the series finished filming so everyone thought she was really gone.
@@nikkinewman-zs5xj Thanks Nikki Newman. I knew you would know!
Stephanie had genuine love and affection for Taylor, but she cannot muster up any tears...
Ridge and Jack have a wonderful warm relationship a son in law and a father in law unlike Bill spencer who had a terriable relationship with Ridge i like and feel for Jack his loss is like no other
Watching this scene I have to wonder if on some deep subconscious level Sally doesn't realize that Macy is the woman Anthony is seeing. The display of family life with Sally, Anthony and CJ, and the guilt trip it lays on Macy, is just a little too perfect. CJ could not have made that "book" entirely unsupervised. And him calling Anthony his dad is also something that would not happen unless Sally encouraged it in some way, whether explicitly or implicitly (because the healthy thing to do would be for her to _set him straight_ and obviously she hasn't. She clearly _likes_ to hear CJ call Anthony his dad).
Also, it's frustrating to see Macy losing her resolve and postponing the inevitable. She needs to either tell Sally the truth, or distance herself from Anthony and the whole situation. Preferably both, because there is no way _either_ Sally or Macy can be with Anthony without _both of them_ getting hurt.
At this point I assume Sally probably doesn't see it, or refuses to see it.
@@ViserionDreamfyre I am not saying she is consciously aware of it, but she is _reacting emotionally_ as if she knows it but her conscious self is in denial. Like when Macy was about to tell her the truth the other day and she stormed out declaring she didn't want to know, or here when she is going on and on in front of Macy about what a good influence Anthony is on CJ.
I think she does deep down in her ❤️
@@donkeygospel6 Exactly! In fact, the tone of this scene reminds me a lot of the Ridge/Brooke/Taylor/Bridget dinner where Brooke and Bridget had the matching outfits and headbands. (One poster, can't remember who, once jokingly referred to Sally as "a younger version of Brooke"!)
And the contrast between Brooke's attitude towards Beth, and Macy's attitude towards Sally, could not be greater. It is clear that Macy is not willing to compete with her mother - she won't "take Anthony away from Sally" - and in order to be able to pursue a relationship with him she first needs to be convinced that Anthony has no future with Sally regardless of Macy's actions.
Good point!
it s nice to explain stephanie creepy eye with acting
Broken blood vessel are nothing nor contagious. I had it once over 17 years ago, just the physical appearance but it goes away quickly
Why on God's green earth did Brad Bell have Brooke in this scene. It literally made NO Sense. There is NO justifiable reason to have her in this scene
Aww CJ 🥰
I am amazed at that little boy. How old is the actor, anyway? He is adorable and seems so smart.
The child-actors are so talented! Also, the '94/'95 Bridget is adorable and she speaks quite well for a child her age.
"Taylor is Dead." How can Ridge go on !! ?? Thanks for the upload !!
Definitely he can. He's a playboy, don't you remember ?
But Taylor is not really dead isn't it?
Dnt worry in a few epis he will be begging Brooke to marry him

@@susankent6051 brooke was never third choice you seem to forget how and why Ridge married Taylor. When she sadly comes back she will force Ridge back to her marriage and take him to court for it. He will reject her and go for Brooke. Stick to what is shown not your wishes. Taylor is a boring character with no legs she cant carry stories on her own. Im not saying this to convince you or any one else but she is not essential and her multiple fake deaths prove it. If Taylor had died she would not have died happy at all. She had had an emotional affair that became sxual and hid it from her husband even when Ridge was spouting stuff about openness and angels and it would have blown up Ridge's image of her forever. And she knew it. And she had always felt insecure about Ridge for very good reason. Heck she couldn't even keep James all to herself.
If she hadn't come between people that she should never have, none of this would have happened. Sorry but I have no sympathy after all the hate spewed towards myself and other fans of a character I can't help but feel for.

Could somebody hug Jack
They shouldn't done this whole plane crash without some research, I'm surprised bc every other difficult subject they had resear had researched and it showed. In plane crashes they often identify bodies by either DNA or teeth, unless the plane caught on fire mid air and literally desintegrated. Also the whole timing, no one talking to authorities or doing proper calls, they didn't send anyone to the airport neither, nothing. This whole scene is terribly written.
Jack just lost his CHILD and NO ONE CARES
Why is Brooke there??
Shes his best friend and she pulled him out when he lost Caroline.
a) She is there as his best friend - already had been called by Stephanie when Caroline had died.
b) She is there as the Forrester chemist and supposed to check if the fabric from Cairo is a BeLieF fabric
c) She brought Bridget, but Maria has again taken Bridget to the kitchen.
d) James left without his girlfriend and Brooke had just moved into Kristen's or Felicia's room until his return.
e) Brooke again decided to make a visit to Stephanie's place and just happened to crash into that family meeting.
