Next week will be the 50th anniversary of my kidney transplant from my mother. My kidney is almost 108 years old - the oldest successfully transplanted kidney in the world, although it was transplanted when my mother was 57. I led a totally normal life and worked until I was 68. There is hope, even if you have kidney failure.
Thanks for sharing! That is so cool that your kidney is almost 108 years old and still going!!
Thank you for giving me hope. God keep Blessing you on a daily basis.'

Eat ONLY beef, butter, bacon and eggs for 60 days and your health will dramatically improve! It's a miracle to eat the Proper Human Diet.
... also avoid caffeine, too much vit C, calcium; stress. And fasting at least 2 days per week and enough sleep.

Feels like covid encouraged a lot of those. I was in the emergency department and was like 12 paramedics standing around. Very odd. All waiting to have their patients seen by a doctor. One of them 35 male, sneezed in his hand then continued playing with phone, didn't wipe hand....and at least 4 other paramedics saw this and said nothing, this was last week!! I see it all the time. Such a simple thing to prevent spread and still don't do it. Covid wasn't about the virus.
It is interesting all the above do's and don'ts apply to health and longevity in general as well as specifically to kidney disease sufferers. Take home message is we need to follow those points regradless of whether we have a genetic predisposition to kidney disease.
The sad thing is that high blood pressure medications and diabetes medications also can cause kidney failure. A dear relative of mine recently had a kidney transplant due to high blood pressure and blood pressure medication taken daily for 30+ years from about age 40 wreaking havoc on the kidneys.
Your sharing is appreciated.
I love my kidneys after listening to this. I will look after them more. Thanks doc
Glad to hear you wont be taking your kidneys for granted. Thanks for your comment!

Dis woman is awesome! 👍
My daughter is on dialysis three times per week. I have shared this video with her and I trust she will subscribe to your channel as will I.
She's very sincere and better than most youtube videos.
Yes, of course! I have an 11yr old son who needs me, so l would do anything to remain here, with him!
This is one of the BEST chronic kidney disease videos I’ve ever seen. Thank you so much. I got diagnosed with CKD (nephrotic syndrome$ when I was 17 and I still take medications everyday to maintain the kidney function I still have. GOD has been good to me. Having resources like your channel is such a blessing.
I just found your vlog. As a RN who worked hemodialysis for a few years I found your presentation very informative for people with chronic kidney disease and their loved ones. Thank you and bless you.
I have learned so much from your videos, I have Meduallary Sponge Kidneys in both kidneys, my nephrologist says he has never seen such a bad case of it. My function is 7% & in the process of getting ready to do PD dialysis. I chose thid type ad the dialysis unit is 2 hrs away and didnt want the travel. I have fought not to do dialysis, but the time is getting closer. I eat healthy, dont smoje or drink,my BP is good and no diabetis,my phospherous is bad. My kidneys are so impacted with stones that they just dont filter properly. I was put on the transplant list in 2019. Thanks for all your videos.

Please take the time to research about feno Greek seeds for the health of the kidney, also take a look at backing soda, also read about hibiscus tea. Do your research. Dont trust your doctor If you drink tap water you must change to filted water
Great video. I love how you instigated a ray of hope throughout the video
This presentation was informative, sensible, and encouraging. But more importantly, she showed **Empathy**. Drs. & dialysis industrial complex are Only Interested in💵. Wishing everyone good health, but also get Informed. Hang in there baby, You Got This!! ❤️😉
Thank you! You are very much appreciated. Love 💕😘 from Debbie and Dexter-Dog my sweet tiny rescued Chihuahua companion living a quiet crafty life in southern California. 🙋🐾🙏🇺🇸🌻✝️
You have a compassionate demeanor and style that makes for a very good video.
Developed kidney disease by taking meds for ulcerative colitis over many years. Stopped meds , changed diet and started exercise more . Gfr went from 38 to 45 in 6 months .
Thank you for this video, I have really changed my diet since October of 2022. Doctor said I was pre-diabetic so immediately stopped process food and started eating as healthy as possible. My kidneys seem a lot better too. We need every bit of information to help us help ourselves as we can get. But ultimately we need a new environment that is healthy. Fortunately my hope in God's word provides answers to all of mankind's problems for the future. I feel so privileged to know all these illnesses that plague us now are only temporary. These wicked days we live in is as bad or worse than the days of Noah. God actually regretted making man. Thank the Lord for his son that gave his life for us to be reconciled with our heavenly father Jehovah God.
Great video...the acidosis in red meat took my EGR from 64 to 33. I had to cut it out completely
This was a very well done video. Concise speaker.
Thank you for doing this priceless, immensely beneficial video for the people who suffer from kidney disease as well as people who don't. Take care.
I appreciate this sooo much! As someone who is always concerned about my health, thank you! I pray healing over your body and joy in your heart! ❤️
Getting enough sleep at night is a no1 MUST 8 hours minimum uninterrupted sleep. Trust me, this is so important.
@@yunjko Who? Everyone on Earth should sleep 8 hours to help you live 10+ years longer.
Thank you for sharing this video, it is one of the best videos that I have seen.
Thank you that was more info than I got from my DR. I’ve had to find out on my own.
I'm glad to hear my video was helpful and easy to understand. Thank you for letting me know!

Is like you where talking to me. I am on dialysis presently. Pla can let me know what foods I should be eating and foods I should not be eating? Thanks.
Thank you for sharing and caring 🙏🙏🙏 you and your videos are awesome
I was stage 3 for 20 years and then ESRD stage 5 13 years ago. I was on all kinds of dialysis for 10 years because I was "low priority" for a transplant due to young age. During the last 6 months of hemo, it wasn't able to clean my blood because the effectiveness wanes over time. I was getting critical and then received a donor kidney for transplant 3 years ago. My journey was unbelievably difficult and I almost died (peritonitis and then hyperkalemia). The thing is, it is a very lonely ordeal but you have to stay strong, annoying and tenacious. Don't go gently into that good night.
You explain CKD in such a way that more people are able to comprehend their prognosis and what helps to retain the liver function that you have.’
Thank you for your honesty and practical outlook.
Thank you for your clear information. My doctor was useless in giving advice and explanation.
I'm not overweight, I don't have diabetes, I don't have high blood pressure, I eat well, I perhaps don't drink sufficient water on a daily basis and I could cut out the couple of alcoholic drinks I consume in a week.
You remind me of my aunt because of your voice. She went through a similar experience but she never changed her lifestyle and still did the same daily chores. I wish you a healthier life and more joy especially. Keep up the fight and I love your positivity.
You are like a good friend, delivering hard news, yet uplifting and with a smile. Very important info. Thank you!
Thanks so much for this eye opening information. God bless you.
❤ Thank you for this thorough advice, delivered to negate fear but with encouragement so that we can take the step to manage and participate actively in becoming healthy. Thank you so very much. May God continue to guide and protect you and maintain your strength as you help others on their journey to better health. 🙏🏿
Thank you so much! This is a wonderful video! So helpful, so encouraging, so incredibly kind and generous!
Wishing you and all well!
I try my best to take care of my kidney after listening this thank for your information 😮
Thank you. Your sincerity is so apparent. God bless you.
Precious advice; however, not easy to follow to the letter. Million thanks to you for the feeling of hope that you infused in CKD patients. I'll try to apply most of them. Greatly appreciate the way you talked to the audience. 🌷🌸🌹
Such great advice. Thank you very much. ❤❤❤❤
Thank You for this information it’s very important and I am sharing this with my sister ❤
I can feel her compassion in this video. Thanks for sharing
Thank you for the information, insight, and compassion, it was truly needed for many of us watching this video.
Thank you for taking your time out to share and to inform us I really appreciate it, it gives me more tools in my toolbox to make better decisions when it comes to my health and daily living. Once again thanks.
Wow! its so nice to have someone give heartfelt advice without the big sell at the end. THANK YOU!
Thank you for sharing all this very important information and support.
Outstanding, comprehensive presentation! Thank You so much!♥️
We love you and pray for your speedy recovery. Know Miracles can happen....
Thank you for your guidance.
This has made me aware of my kidney health overall. Thanks Dr!
You did an excellent job explaining these important factors in kidney care.
This channel is helpful and practical advice. I wish doctors could explain things this well.
Thank you for making this video and posting it.
Thank you for being clear & thorough especially when water intake for me is concerned. So important to be safely hydrated. Monitoring one’s BP is so important, I do mine daily and it’s a lot lower than at the doctor’s. Thanks Pat
God bless you for sharing this information to all. Thank you.
Awesome. Your empathy and experience comes across. Excellent and important information. Thank You.
Thank you for posting this it has helped me decide on and recognize changes I need to make today. ❤
thank you so much for sharing. This has really made me look at what is going on with me. Thanks you.
I was I Dialysis Nurse for 6 years. Fascinating discipline. Much to learn.

❤That was one of the best videos I have seen on Kidney Disease. Thank You ❤for sharing your experience and journey; it is very appreciated, inspiring and helpful. Much love and blessings to You and Your Family.
Great information. My mother has kidney disease. I didn’t understand all the factors involved or even how it happened. She’s very stubborn about the smallest changes she can make now to help herself. That upsets me. She takes so much medication . Thanks for all the valuable tips.
Thank you for your videos. My kidneys started failing in 2016, and I made the decision to retire from my job to take stress off me. I managed with chemotherapy (autoimmune disease causing my body to attack my kidneys) and change in my diet (gave up Dr Pepper, chocolate, and my occasional glass of wine) I went from Stage 4 to 3a. However, now I am back to Stage 4 and GFR very close to Stage 5, and scared.
Thank You, I needed to hear this❤
Excellent compassionate presentation. Thank you.
I agree with a lot of what you’re saying but my kidney doctors told me to cut down on dairy. They also told me to increase my protein more eggs, fish and meat
That was inspiring. Keep climbing. Both of us.
Thank You for sharing!😊thanks for the hug of encouragement.
All the best on your journey to healing. Thanks for tips👍
I am already doing everything that you mentioned already. I never was a drinker or a smoker and I stopped adding salt to my foods and taking over the counter pain medications years ago when diagnosed with Crohn's disease. In January, I totally changed my diet to a whole food only low carb diet and in February I started exercising daily and I try to drink 4-5 bottles of plain water a day. The last time my kidney function was tested, I was in the hospital for a IBD related complication about a month ago and the function seems to stay in the mid 40s. I tried seeing a nephrologist years ago after my sister was diagnosed with ESRD, but he didn't give me any guidance or seem to even care since my kidney still function.
Just throwing in a name for you to decide to check out, or not. Dr Brooke Goldner. She gets patients of the transplant list with her protocol. She’s on social media, works with patients online, but also has all the info for free online and in a couple of books. Wishing you the best!
Thank you for the great information. You explained everything clearly and there is no telling how many people you helped with this video. I will be more aware of the foods I eat from now on. God Bless you!
I really appreciate the empathy that I hear in your voice and speaking about this very serious disease!! I was diagnosed with high blood pressure three years ago. I am working on changing my habits, but it is not easy. I will be 50 next month and the severity of breaking my habits is hitting me even more harder now. I have written everything down & promise to go harder for my Life as a grandmother of 4! I want to be here for my family! You are so awesome for this Priceless video🙏💜
I applaud you for trying and for being honest about the difficulty you're facing.
It IS hard to change life long habits... Especially when you've been diagnosed with a health problem... That's the sort of thing that would, and does drive me straight to the candy aisle.
You'll be fine I'm sure.
Go vegan. Preferably raw vegan immediately. Consuming animal products causes clogged arteries from animal fat and protein building up in the arteries over time. By age 40-50 is when symptoms of clogged arteries (arteriosclerosis) begin. I was a caregiver to parents and my grandmother for 17 years. I know what can and will happen once high blood pressure occurs and it is treated with various medications because of what I witnessed happen to my relatives. I’m 62 and vegan for 7 years. Switched to raw vegan high fruit to control my blood pressure without medication. I have perfect blood work and take no medications.
This video is informative but leaves out important information about HYPERTENSION and HIGH BLOOD Pressure.
Here is my story ...
I had inflamed swelling painful kidneys 6 years along with bubbling urine and proteinura I could easily see. Very difficult to sleep to boot. All the hundreds of internet sites on kidneys told me I had infection so I tried treating what I thought was an infection in various ways. With little success I ordered a test for infection on line. It turned out I had no infection. I was not happy with the lack of information online.
So I was stumped. I listened to a doctor who is partially into natural methods. She said pointed out what people with kidney disease die of was heart attack. I started to put two and two together and figured out it was really HEART DISEASE. It turned out I had kidney failure going on. I did not run to a doctor either. I am a DIY who uses natural methods. I avoid doctors because they recommend bad solutions to these problems. i don't view doctors as authority figures in health. They are good for physical trauma like auto accidents.
She mentions hypertension. Well hypertension and high blood pressure is just another way of saying you have CLOGGED ARTERIES probably around your kidneys and other places. You DON'T treat high blood pressure. You unclog your arteries.
SOLUTION: I took high dosage (40mg 3Xday for at least a week) LUMBROKINASE and in a matter of 3 or 4 days, the kidney pain and swelling started to subside. The protein and bubbles in urine also subsided. If you have very mild clogging and want some preventative options then nattokinase/serrapeptase can be used.
It's probably a good idea to use some chanca piedra to clean your kidney of calcium and stones. If your prone to uric acid, maybe use something to help with that like tart cherry.
I'd also recommend vitamin C complex with proline/lysine and bioflavinoids. This will help regenerate the artery lining.
If you have blood POOLING in your feet, this is caused by the FAILING VALVES in the veins. This can be cured with DIOSMIN/HESPERIDIN. For first week or so, raise your feet to speed up the process.
@@rozchristopherson648but doesn't fruits cause insulin resistance.. what about the brain needing fat ?
This video is one of the best presentations I have ever seen in my 78 years on recognizing kidney disease. This should be shown to everyone who has developed or who is at risk for developing kidney disease. Excellent presentation. You are doing a wonderful public service!
I want to thank you so much for your informative and down to earth approach coupled with your insightful compassion. I’m a 75-year-old male, a practicing chiropractor. I’ve had long-term idiopathic high blood pressure. I’ve never been much of a smoker, but I have been overweight, and had abused alcohol for many years. That’s been stopped! Also, I’ve dropped a lot of weight over the last five years, using a ketogenic approach. Recently, I’ve come down with increasing amounts of protein in my urine, so I’ve had to moderate my protein. Things become increasingly dicey and hard to balance as this condition progresses. According to your video, I’m doing many things correctly, which is good news. I’ll just have to find out what I need to improve on! Count me as a subscriber!
May I humbly suggest you learn to fast and exercise more?
Your system needs to reset.
NOTHING processed ie if it has a bar code on it, don't eat it
Clean out your fridge.
Learn about structured water.
And zero sugars.
It's not easy making peace with the sugar demons.
It's a mental game and you can do it too.
And be an amazing example to your clients and family and live the extra decades with a full and beautiful life.
Thanks for the info. Being and feeling alone has been hard on me
Excellent video! Thank you and God bless you.❤
excellent content and presentation. Very informative and Very helpful. Thank you so much.
I have stage 3a and really appreciate the videos. Learning a lot and feel a bit more understood emotionally
Good information delivered in an easy-to-understand, kind, compassionate, and encouraging manner! Excellent job! ❤ 💙 💜
Thanks for this.... I was recently diagnosed stage 3 so I've been watching lots of videos. This one was really helpful and easy and pleasant to watch. I've subscribed and will be checking out your channel.
Thank you for a sympathetic and caring video. Your words will surely save lives. ❤️
Very helpful and sensible video. It is a sad fact that in the UK Health Serivce GPs all too often get to know via blood tests that someone has kidney disease but doe not tell them. Also they are not referred to a nephologist until the situation is really serious so being pro active as this lady says is really important.
You are an inspiration!
Thank you so much. This information was very helpful to me and gives me steps I can take to try to prevent further damage. It also gave me hope.
Thank you for this information. I was told by a Health Care Assistant that I had stage 3 CKD. I was shocked to say the least. I haven’t been seen by a doctor and the only information I was given was to drink more water. Two weeks ago I had a kidney stone so I’m now being followed up at the hospital.
Thank you so much for the information.
You help people to be health conscious..Thank you so much
This is great information. If you're able to implement some prevention strategies, that'll go a long way in helping you preserve your healthy kidneys.
Thank you so much for your wonderful helpful messages ❤😊
Beautiful words. THANK YOU!

Thank You. You're a legend for sharing with us. I wish I could say I feel better, because now I know I got my work cut out for me. I didn't know half of this stuff. Again, thanks for sharing with us. Sigh...
My wife's Thai grandmother died from kidney failure, 30 years of smoking and regular whisky drinking, became diabetic and was poorly managed at 53, was dead by age of 64, and it was a very painful death. Very little water drinking and a diet that was rich in rice and salted fish. We know the facts so let's to get to work, may she rest in peace I never got to meet her. If you piss strong yellow water then drink WATER !
Prayers for you 🙏🏼

I find that eating just 2/3 pieces of different FRESH fruit first thing in the morning & drinking 500 ml warm BOILED water with one tsp of fresh lemon juice, certainly helps to clean out the system. Around lunch time, a smoothie or salad with RAW vegies, table celery, chunk cucumber, 1/4 avocado, parsley, fresh orange chunks. (Maybe tomato now & then) With a 2/3 tablespoons of full cream plain yogurt. Helped me to loose weight without much effort . Sometimes in summer, its only these two meals. Winter , i make lots of thick vegie soups. Lots of water or Rooibos tea, no coffee, no alcohol. no fizzy drinks. Fruit juice as a treat, now & then . Life can become boring otherwise.
