In this session, we'll talk about how we were able to take a 5+ year old codebase and get the performance up, and up, and up.
Oren will discuss what was broken and how it was fixed, and what were the key steps that gave us a significant boost in overall performance. Expect a discussion on low-level branch predictions and memory layout, and then zooming out to seeing how different architectural level decisions can make a much bigger impact on the system.
