Did anyone else notice Tate got the arrow between his shoulder blades, a few seconds later he's on his knees holding onto the arrow which is now near the top of his left shoulder? They must have had mobile arrows those days.
Frank Overton, the actor at 0.30 played the sheriff, Heck Tate in To Kill A Mockingbird. A very odd episode. Large chunks that would make sense of the story seem absent.
Re his gun. Now I know it is an 1858 Remington cartridge conversion in 44. You know you can have an unregisterewd. Buy an 1858 replica C&B mailed to your house. Then buy a conversion cylinder (a gun part) mailed to your house . No 4473 paper trail. Just an observation from a Utube video.
In those days, the very long hard work days made the person much older and much sooner. Two years was quite some time to wait for a wandering man and especially in the wild frontier. Amos did not give a damn about Amy. It was just that he lost face and rightfully so. Life still goes on and time waits for NO MAN! TO HELL WITH AMOS!
He's an indecisive man who lives with regret. Regret breeds consequences. You either accept them or you don't. No point in letting it boil over and waste what's left of your life. Seen it too many times...
Tate - Commanche Scalps. The girl was much younger than the brother. He's old enough to be her father and/or grandfather. And, who would wait for two years in those days?
@@RockOfLions Yes, after I commented on this video, I went and watched every Mission: impossible episode with him in it. It was fantastic. I enjoyed it very much. He was such a talented actor
Amos looks like that young girl's grandfather. He thinks that a twelve year old girl should wait for two years until age fourteen four his gray ass old self. He just wants her to wait on him hand and foot and never being happy with his old ass self.
Dear MGTOW poster girl, boy meets girl his own age and the two virgins marry in high-school. If, on the other hand, she decides he is not good enough and she wants to explore, at 40 NO MAN is looking for a 40-year-old woman. Ain't gonna happen. You hearing the facts of life just now?

He put it the way their father taught his sons.
No wonder their lives were empty.
Young Robert Redford !
Before Star Trek Lenard Nimoy was a star in a lot of westerns, noticed he played a baddie not a hero.
His ears were funnier than this guy, trying to tie down his gun
.

Oh wait...you never mentioned she married ROBERT FREAKING REDFORD!!!! What was a normal girl to do?

Frank Overton as Amos!
For those wondering about Nimoy. He appeared in many westerns, often as a bad guy.
His ears was as stupid as tate trying to tie down his gun STUPID SERIES!
Weird to see Leonard Nimoy as an American Indian. I'm used to Spock.
He's played an indian in another western show also
Nimoy was a regular on mission impossible, frequent on the man from u.n.c.l.e. also on fringe. And then there was In Search Of...

Robert Redford!
Lane Bradford the gunman!
Back then, Redford's hair might even have been real.
The him in the Reply below is Redford.
mr. Leonard Nimoy
I liked him at this time before he let it be known his political affiliation.
I agree
Sundance wasn't messing around.
@Ward Kendall Spock hadn't achieved his Vulcan powers yet.
Yeah .. the adult themes .. not exactly sugar foot .. lol
Sad movie
a boyfriend with Leonard Nimoy's eyes or NOTHING
