@@farmerbill5079 you don’t need to remove the burner plates. To clean the emitter plates you just wanna close the lid and turn the grill up super hot, that’ll vaporize al the juices, and they design a specific brush that has stainless steel prongs that fit between the grates and you can scrape off all the solid materials.

How do you clean the tray under the grilling plates?
You need to remove the burner tubes. Then each tray can be removed.
