He is the Michael Jackson of the Phil. Way back mid 80's , this man is a good dancer, singer, host and actor . He's now more or less 60yrs old during that performance in wish bus. Gary V. arrange his own songs and do the work of a sound engineer. This man is full of talent and energy and we are proud of him as Filipino. 🇵🇭👌👍

Music composition is by Chick Correa a legendary jazz keyboardist and composer. Lyrics were written later by
Al Jarreau/Artie Maren. Gary V. is. a Mentor to Katrina Velarde. I believe he was influential in her scatting. He is super talented.

"Spain" was recorded in several versions, by Corea himself as well as by other artists, including a flamenco version by Paco de Lucia, Al Di Meola and John McLaughlin in the 1980s, and a progressive bluegrass version by Bela Fleck in 1979. Ah Gary V! The pure energy man in Philippines despite his age (50+ y/o) and his physical illness and he gives all the glory to God for this! The accuracy! Why not? He has been singing that song for years (to show off how good his vocals and ears are probably 😋). The difficulty with staccato notes is that is so easy to hear a misstep (he did not).

Mr. Gary Valenciano is an icon here in the Philippines. He is called Mr. Pure Energy and total performer. He has outlived his juvenile diabetes
and later his recent heart operation. He is truly a man of God. He is
also a dancer, musical producer, coach, arranger and composer.
He was one of the judges the time when I joined a singing competition here in the Philippines called Tawag ng tanghalan. He's so talented and a great teacher in music too..
