Namaste: Karmayog is not working with elements of prakrti. It is raising beyond prakrti and wearing Pure Consciousness. Prakrti is Trigunatmak. It impels us to indulge in mundane things. Yogis who come with Satvik or Suddha satvik samskar naturally stay immune to worldly experiences while dealing with the world. Commoners like us have to practice it through inquiry driven detachment in our everyday karma. Yasya sarve samarambha, yasya naahamkrto bhavaha, gata sangay muktasya, yogasthah kuru karmani, yoga karma kausalam, karmanyevadhikaraste, naiva kincit karomiti and few more teachings of Bhagawan tells us as to how we can stay aboard karmabandhan or free from karmaphala. very true. I agree. But I think now many doctors are learning the true karma yoga in its true sense since the arrival of Covid19. Many doctors have become so money oriented during the recent decades that they began to believe that their only job is to make money and not treat the sick or save lives. a leader is one who works to secure the possibility of a successful life for future generations. leadership means working toward a society that does not rely on the spiritual development of oligarchs for a functioning democracy. wealth is collectively produced by the population, then privately seized by a select group through patent laws and property rights. capitalism is systemically anti-Bhakti and, ultimately, a barrier to all yogas acting in harmony on a societal level. 2019 is not a great time to remind people of the philanthropic nature of oil tycoons, as fires erupt in California due to the climate crisis. Ecosystems have lost long-term stability, thus our future security in feeding ourselves has disintegrated. The implication to humans being apart of nature, not superior to nature, is that the organization of humanity is, in itself, the organization of nature. Said a different way, capitalism is more than an economic system and more than a social system, it is way of organizing nature. The climate crisis and the crisis of capitalism are the same crisis. It is being perpetrated because there is a lot of money to be made, motivated by the underlying logic of property rights. Swami Vivekananda mentioned Rockefeller was not the owner of his wealth. I would take it a bit further. Rockefeller should not have been the owner of oil, all should be collectively owned by society and democratically controlled. What happens to the oil should be up for public vote, not at the mercy of oil tycoons who profit for acting in the disinterest of the population’s health and security.

2019 is not a great time to remind people of the philanthropic nature of oil tycoons, as fires erupt in California due to the climate crisis. Ecosystems have lost long-term stability, thus our future security in feeding ourselves has disintegrated. The implication to humans being apart of nature, not superior to nature, is that the organization of humanity is, in itself, the organization of nature. Said a different way, capitalism is more than an economic system and more than a social system, it is way of organizing nature. The climate crisis and the crisis of capitalism are the same crisis. It is being perpetrated because there is a lot of money to be made, motivated by the underlying logic of property rights.
Swami Vivekananda mentioned Rockefeller was not the owner of his wealth. I would take it a bit further. Rockefeller should not have been the owner of oil, all should be collectively owned by society and democratically controlled. What happens to the oil should be up for public vote, not at the mercy of oil tycoons who profit for acting in the disinterest of the population’s health and security.
the entire capitalism paradigm is anti - bhakti anti yoga imo. Mostly philanthropy done by these guys are donations to their own organisations to save taxes !
