- Over Sukkot, we visited Erfurt, Germany to perform at the Achava Festival. The Old Synagogue in Erfurt is thought to be one of the oldest standing synagogues in Europe. Jewish life in Erfurt dates back 1,000 years and continues until today, despite massacres in the 14th and 20th centuries.
On our way, we hit some bumps in the road; more accurately we were hit with a few bumps. But the show went on, and Erfurt Jewish life continues!

This is so cool! My mother has a cousin who was the chief Rabbi in Munich, Germany, about 2 years ago! He's now the chief Rabbi in Vienna. He was also the chief Rabbi in Switzerland a while back! I visited him in Germany, and it was a really cool experience!

Great that you had fun there. The accident was not funny at all. But things like an accident can happen. And it is an experience. Maybe you one day come by an accident where people are uninjured, but helpless (Don't know what to do). Then you can offer your help.

Hey, I love your group and love what you guys do but I'm so bothered by this video.
What do you mean, "why would we not like Germany?" - are you serious? Ask your grandmother she can tell you why we might not like Germany. This country and culture you went to visit was the place that led to the destruction of 6 million of our people. You guys are great but for real, where is your Jewish sensitivity? This is a shameful display.. and you dont even acknowledge how awkward it is (something that anyone watching the video can pick up on). Instead you pretend its all good...wildly inappropriate. Love your other stuff but this is just disgusting. Hope you have the courage to fix this. Continue to make good music and good videos and better decisions going fwd. God bless you guys.

that being said, if you want to hear good auswitsch/nazi jokes you need to visit an elderly home in Israël, I know because a friend of the family worked in one for a long time (and wrote a book from the stories with the elderly people there) and she told us this example when we asked how people in Israël feel about germany. Modern germany is miles away from Nazi germany. None of those grannies and grandpas had any hatred for germany as a country as it was after the war. Are you Jewish yourself btw? Because I've never spoken with one irl that complained about modern germany.
