I have practiced, and taught this Poomsae to my students for years. These "applications" make no sense, it seems that they have made various techniques and attached them to the Poomsae TG1 saying "these are them." A disaster! I will never teach them as such.
This makes no sense. This isn't how the techniques are done in poomsae so doing an application like this and calling it poomsae application is nonsense. Additionally in TG1 the kick comes before the punch, not after.
The Kukkiwon is doing a horrible job of trying to recreate applications. They abandoned their practice of bunkai when the Kukkiwon was developed to bastardize the art.
