    I actually had the Backstreet Boys milk ad on my wall lol. I saw so many of these around my school cafeteria in middle and high school in the 90s. God, I feel old 🤣🤣🤣

    As someone who stopped dairy after being told at age 11 (this was 1995 - before the word 'vegan' existed) that "veal and leather are byproducts of the dairy industry" I appreciate the history into the very real milk propaganda that still exists to this day.

    Thank you for this explanation! As a South American, I grew up seeing these ads and not understanding why they were advertising milk in general instead of a brand. I remember they did a sort of "reboot" of the Aaron Burr commercial with Leslie Odom Jr because of the Hamilton musical popularity some years back, that was totally unrelated to the campaign, right?
